“Thank you so much for your stay with Athena. We really appreciate your attention to our girl and scheduling support. The house looked great and Athena was sound asleep when we returned.”

“Alayna was awesome. My Melia girl really took to her very quickly. We got pictures everyday of Melia out in yard, playing with her, out on walks and during snuggles, which is Melias favorite.. Our Melia doesn’t take to new people very easily so it was such a relief to see how much Melia really enjoyed her time with Alayna . She took care of my Melia like she was her own puppy , which everything we could ask for in a dog sitter.”

“Our doggo Kailey has special needs - In particular, she takes quite a while to warm up to people and wants her own space. No touchy touchy! Because of this, it has been difficult to find care for her in the past. Enter Lynn. Lynn is wonderful. She took the time to talk with us, to understand what Kailey needs, and how we interact with her. She was warm and friendly, and instantly put us at ease. We felt 100% comfortable leaving her to watch over our doggo, with access to our home. Lynn was great at both following instruction and using her best judgement when interacting with Kailey. She provided care and companionship for our girl when we couldn't be there. We are so grateful for her help, and would highly recommend her to anyone else looking for compassionate care for their pets!”

“Maggie was amazing!! One puppy and two older dogs (plus a last minute 3 hr coverage for another puppy!!). We loved the photos during Maggie's stay! Maggie left a detailed report card that captured their personalities 100%, which really shows how much they bonded!! We will definitely reserve Maggie again soon!”

“Hannah stayed at our home with our two dogs for ten days while we were on vacation. Unfortunately, one of our dogs wasn't feeling the best and Hannah was very patient and took great care of her. She provided daily updates and pictures which our whole family enjoyed. The house was left neat and in order. We would not hesitate at all to have her help us again in the future. Thank you so much, Hannah!”

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 15 years old. I love walking dog and spending time with them I have no problems with taking care of the house as well when people are gone as well, including cleaning up, vacuuming, dishes, ensuring mail is collected and taking care of plants. I have experience with puppies, adult dogs, and senior dogs. When I get up in the morning, I prefer to take the doggos out first thing for a quick walk around to let them go to the bathroom. We then head back to have breakfast together. Throughout the day, I will keep an eye on them to see if they need to go out. If they are a puppy, we will go out every 2 hours quickly. Otherwise, I tend to wait until around 4 hours to do another walk around, usually as a longer walk or if weather is bad, give us a chance to play at home for a while after lunch. I work remotely so I’ll still be able to work while looking after your pupper and will be keeping a close eye on them throughout the day. We’ll do another walk/play time around 3-4 before I start working on dinner and ensure we both get fed. At around 7 or.8, I’ll have us do one last walk around to take care of business before bedtime for adult dogs. Please keep in mind I’m aware that for puppies and senior dogs that schedules may need to adjust and we can have those conversations depending on need. I am not able to take pets into my own home at this time due to restrictions on my lease. So I will be relying on the equipment that you have in your home to care for your dog. I want to make sure I am using the food that your dog eats and the treats that are your safety standards. I will keep your dog on leash while on walks at all times, and be sure to follow whatever rules you have for your animal.
“Abhay was absolutely amazing. On first contact, his enthusiasm to meet and greet both us an our animals was encouraging. We knew from first meet that we could be confident and comfortable leaving our babies and our home in his care for two weeks. We were not wrong. Everything went as planned and our babies and our home were cared for perfectly according to our requests. We would, without question, request his services again and highly recommend to others.”

“Caroline H. was great! I really appreciated that she reached out a few days in advance so I felt confident there would be no hiccups on the start date. I also appreciated that she stripped the bed and started the washing machine with her sheets and towels before we came home. She was understanding when, after the wedding, I was delayed and my brother and his wife arrived back at the house before me. But most importantly, I could tell she treated our dog well while were were away!”

“Tina was great! My dog was a bit sick and she took good care of her. Tina is an upbeat person which I think was fun for Ruby! Tina communicates well. I have already booked her again. Highly recommended!”

“Nicole and Steve did an amazing job looking after our Zona! We were away for a weekend and wanted someone who can stay at our place, since our dog is a senior with poor vision. Zona felt really comfortable with them. Nicole updated us daily with pictures. Her experience with animals made us feel at ease and we knew Zona is in good hands. We came back home to a happy dog and a clean house. Nicole and Steve are great and we will definitely use their help in the future!”

About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve been caring for pets since I was 10 years old and now work as an Assistant Dog Trainer, where I continue to build my experience with dogs of all ages, breeds, and temperaments. Through my work, I’ve gained hands-on experience with pet sitting, boarding, and providing individualized care to help pets feel comfortable and secure. Whether your pet needs playtime, companionship, exercise, or extra patience, I’m committed to giving them the attention and care they deserve. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me flexibility in my schedule. I can accommodate walks, drop-in visits, feeding schedules, and depending on home situations I can accommodate in home boardings. I provide dog walks, drop-in visits, and feeding services tailored to your pet’s routine and needs. During visits, I’ll make sure your pet receives plenty of attention, exercise, fresh water, meals, and care according to your instructions. Depending on your pet’s needs and home situation, I will also be available for boarding or extended care. However, I do not offer overnight house sitting and will not stay in a client’s home overnight. My goal is to provide reliable, professional care that keeps your pet comfortable and happy while you’re away.
“Pamela did a wonderful job taking care of my 2 dogs and cat while I was gone for the weekend! She was punctual and responsible, followed all my care instructions, sent photos and updates, and was delightful to work with. I would definitely have Pamela watch them again.”

“Jeff did a great job with our cat. He was attentive, friendly, followed directions and gave us timely updates. Our cat has some special needs due to his age and health and it didn't phase Jeff in least -- he has an older cat of his own and he knows how to work with cats. Please don't hesitate to contact him for your cat's needs.”

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred North Easton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in North Easton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in North Easton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in North Easton. On Rover:
- 92% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 96% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
