“Alayna was awesome. My Melia girl really took to her very quickly. We got pictures everyday of Melia out in yard, playing with her, out on walks and during snuggles, which is Melias favorite.. Our Melia doesn’t take to new people very easily so it was such a relief to see how much Melia really enjoyed her time with Alayna . She took care of my Melia like she was her own puppy , which everything we could ask for in a dog sitter.”

“I had a feeling from my first phone interview with Lynne that she was a keeper. She is an amazing person and it is or quite interesting to hear her story. After she came by for an introductory visit I had no doubt she would smother them with affection and companionship. I also appreciated her obvious skill as an experienced dog owner in setting limits for their behavior. Her little tike Milo got along great with our girls. We will be booking her again for our next trip for sure. She is a Gem!”

“Anna was wonderful with our 2 boys, Frank and Eddie. She communicated daily with many pictures which made being away so easy and stress free. It was easy to see from the pictures how happy they were during her stay at our house. Thank you for taking such great care of our boys!”

“This is our second time booking with Margaret and she has been absolutely wonderful! She’s taken great care of our German Shepherd and been prompt, reliable, and communicative. Our dog loves her and my stepdaughter loves the pictures she sends too! I will absolutely continue to rebook with Margaret for sitting in the future and would highly recommend her.”

“Hannah watched our two dogs for the weekend and she was great! She was easy to communicate with and sent lots of pictures while we were away. Our dogs loved her! We will definitely be using Hannah again in the future.”

“Elizabeth took such good care of my cat! I have an older cat that requires oral medication. I felt at ease knowing she was looking after him. Great communication while I was away. Will definitely use again!”
“Pat was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of our dog and our home while we were away. We came back to a happy pup and a spotless house. She sent regular updates, which gave us so much peace of mind. We’d love to have her back anytime!”

“We are so pleased with our first experience having Maddie stay at our home to care for our deaf dog and elderly cat! Maddie checked in with us regularly and our pets and home were just as we left them. Our anxiety prone dog was definitely happier to be home with Maddie than in a kennel. We would definitely recommend using Maddie to care for your pets. We hope she is free next time we go away!”

“Nathalia was fantastic! On time, communicative, and thorough. She made sure our very anxious dog was at ease and happy the entire time which isn’t always an easy task! She is everything you would hope for in a sitter!”

“Lindsay was absolutely wonderful, and we couldn’t have asked for a better person to care for our pets and our home while we were away for an extended trip. From the very beginning, she stood out as incredibly thorough, experienced, and responsible. She took our meet-and-greet seriously, asked thoughtful and detailed questions, and made sure she understood our pets’ routines, personalities, needs, and all of the little details of caring for our home before we left. She was also exceptionally prompt in her responses and proactive in her communication. We never had to wonder how things were going or reach out repeatedly for updates; Lindsay took the initiative to keep us informed throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind while we were traveling. Her communication made it very clear that she is an experienced sitter who understands how important it is for pet owners to feel connected and reassured while they are away. Throughout the stay, Lindsay gave us every confidence that our pets were happy, comfortable, and getting plenty of attention. It was obvious that she took the time to learn their individual routines and personalities rather than simply going through the motions. She was attentive to the details we had discussed and treated their care with the same level of thoughtfulness and responsibility she showed during our initial meeting. She was equally respectful and attentive with our home. We returned to everything clean, organized, and very well cared for, along with happy and relaxed pets. Coming home after a long trip and immediately being able to see how thoughtfully everything had been looked after was such a relief. Most importantly, Lindsay gave us genuine peace of mind from beginning to end. Her thoroughness, responsiveness, initiative, and clear experience made it easy to trust that our pets and home were in excellent hands. We are so grateful for the care she provided and would absolutely trust Lindsay to house sit for us again. We would recommend her without hesitation!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life, starting when I got my first pup at age 5. My dog Baxter lived to 18, giving me years of experience in all stages of a dog’s life—from playful puppyhood to senior care. I understand the patience, love, and attention dogs need at every age, and I’d love the opportunity to provide that same care for your dog! I am currently taking a gap semester from college, which gives me a flexible schedule to incorporate pet care into my daily and weekly routine. This allows me to be readily available for dog walking and boarding whenever needed. I have a large, pet-friendly yard in a safe neighborhood, providing plenty of space for exercise and play. When caring for pets in your home, I always treat your space with respect, ensuring cleanliness and care while following any specific instructions you provide. I also follow your preferences for your dog's routine, including whether you’d like your dog crated at night or given free roam. Your dog's safety, comfort, and well-being are my top priorities!
“Rebecca provided invaluable peace of mind on our recent week abroad. Her thoughtful questions during our first meeting, a thorough pre-trip care questionnaire, and regular communication/updates assured us our home and fur babies were in good hands. We returned to happy pets and plants and a spotlessly clean home. We rebooked with Rebecca for our 2025 trip with no hesitation.”

“Abhay was quick to respond and took great care of my parent's 2 dogs and 2 cats. One of the dogs required 2x daily medicine and Abhay was sure to let us know that he was taking it and keeping him healthy. He was also responsible when it came to the heat wave that was happening while he was watching the pets and still ensured the dogs got plenty of exercise! Thank you Abhay.”

“Pamela was amazing! She accepted a last-minute booking to watch Willie Nelson, and we are so grateful. She arrived right on time, kept us updated throughout, and was so communicative and thoughtful. Willie was happy and relaxed when we got home, and we could tell he was well cared for. We’d book Pamela again in a heartbeat!”

About: I have experience with dogs of all ages. I have grown accustomed to a range of feeding, walking, grooming and play schedules and also have experience administering medication. I can handle dogs around other pets, acting to keep everyone involved comfortable and safe. I have lots of free time after classes and only a part time work schedule in the summer. I am able to make time morning, afternoon and night! Until August 15th, I will be living with two roommates. One of which have a cat and a dog who are very friendly. I aim to keep boarding to a minimum until I move into my new space where I will have a lot more room and there would be no. concern with pets interacting and living with other pets that they do not know.

About: I LOVE animals, dogs, cats, birds, you name it, any type of pet and am naturally extremely caring for them, regardless if they are my pets or not. I'm currently home from graduating college and was looking for something i would enjoy doing, and i LOVE animals, and i got introduced into Rover. I've had a dog my whole life and trained them, and would love to help other's people and their pets! I have a dog, that I feed, walk and play with everyday. I walk him for at least 15 minutes, but he likes being out and playing catch, or even play inside.

Christina watched our two dogs at our house for a week and took great care of them. She was easy to communicate with and provided daily updates and photos. One of my dogs is very timid around new people but warmed up to her immediately. Will definitely hire again!

Hannah stayed at our home with our two dogs for ten days while we were on vacation. Unfortunately, one of our dogs wasn't feeling the best and Hannah was very patient and took great care of her. She provided daily updates and pictures which our whole family enjoyed. The house was left neat and in order. We would not hesitate at all to have her help us again in the future. Thank you so much, Hannah!

Benjamin did a wonderful job taking care of our German Shepherd, and we are so grateful. We would absolutely book with him again in the future. He was prompt and responsive. Sent us lots of lovely photos of our dog looking happy and well-taken care of. We couldn’t have asked for better!

Samantha did a fantastic job taking care of our dog, cats, and chickens. She also kept our home tidy and helped with tasks like bringing in the mail. She was wonderful to work with - responsive, responsible, and sent lots of pictures. We will definitely book with her again!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred South Easton walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in South Easton maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in South Easton choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
