“We cannot recommend John and Sharon enough. Our two corgis absolutely love their time with them. They get excited when we arrive and are well taken care of. They get plenty of exercise, attention, and are pretty spoiled at John and Sharon's house. It's terrific to feel completely at ease leaving our dogs when we travel.”

“Louie, our English springer spaniel, loved his time in Wanyi’s home. He was well taken care of, had lots of activities and exercise and was treated like a member of her family. She sent us pictures and updates every day. We are thrilled with our experience. We highly recommend Wanyi!!!!”

“Our dog Nugget was immediately comfortable with Alana when I dropped him off for the night and they seem to have bonded really well. Alana is prompt with communication and very friendly.”

“Tianyue was very attentive, calm and sweet with our dog. She texted updates and multiple pictures every other day, giving us peace of mind on our vacation. We would highly recommend her!”

“Grigorii was fast to respond and was a pleasure to communicate with from my initial inquiry. My dog got along great with his dog, which helped put me at ease. He took them on some fun adventures and sent us some great photos. I highly recommend Grigorii!”

About: I have hands-on experience handling and caring for animals through volunteer work at an animal shelter, employment in multiple animal hospitals, and caring for my own pets. My experience includes safely interacting with animals of various temperaments, supporting their daily care, and maintaining their health and well-being in both clinical and home environments. What sets me apart is my combination of professional experience, hands-on care, and genuine love for animals. This experience has given me the knowledge to recognize pets’ needs and provide calm, compassionate care. I have even had the pleasure of caring for senior dogs and understand the extra patience, comfort, and attention they require. I’ve also done some basic dog training and enjoy reinforcing good behaviors with positive encouragement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, loved, and comfortable while giving pet parents peace of mind knowing their furry family member is in caring, capable hands. Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine. I have a flexible schedule, and typically have open availability, allowing me to provide plenty of walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of attention. I live down the street from a dog park too, so pets can socialize during their time with me as well. I love spending time outdoors and am very active so any pet in my care will be outdoors as much as possible, unless an owner would prefer I keep them indoors. I provide a safe, loving, and comfortable environment where pets are treated like family. I’m very attentive, compassionate, and patient, making sure each pet receives the care and attention they need. I follow their regular routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and rest, while giving them plenty of affection and positive interaction. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can feel confident that their pet is happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Boning was great with Maple - gave great updates on what they were up to, how she walked and ate, etc. Maple was spoiled by cuddles and a great fenced in yard. We would be happy to book with her again!”

“Nadya is a fantastic host! Super communicative before and during Riley’s stay. Sent along updates and pics along the way and is really friendly. Would definitely recommend. Thanks so much for the great care you gave to Riley Nadya!❤️”
“Alisyn was wonderful and so great at communicating. She also was flexible about a last minute extension and was very pleasant & understanding. She has a lovely home, with a large yard, and great location to the city! We will definitely stay with her again and we have recommended to family and friends already. It was nice to know our pup was in excellent hands and having a fun time too!”

About: I’ve taken care of a lot of dogs over the years and i have my own dog as well. I love them and i’ll take care of them like they are mine 💖 I work from home so i’ll be here to incorporate whatever schedule your dog may have. How many walks and feeds you would like i can provide that. I live in an apartment but i have a park near me where i can take your dog for a walk. I can also take the dog to a dog a park if you prefer. I have a dog in the house but she is small and very friendly with other dogs.
“Theresa was an incredible dog sitter! She was very responsive, always kept us up to date with photos, videos and descriptions of her activities throughout the day. Our dog Rosie was definitely in great hands and we would highly recommend her. Thank you again for boarding Rosie”

“Alyson is always amazing watching my cat! He’s had some medical issues lately and she was extremely attentive, followed all my instructions, and gave me constant updates on how he was doing. My trip out of town was much much less stressful thanks to her. I would recommend Alyson for anyone looking to have their cat stay with someone while they are away. Thanks Alyson!!”

“Jess and her family were AMAZING with Jack and Mazie - long walks, alot of cuddles - both my dogs came home happy and it was clear they felt safe and comfortable. Thank you all!”

“After our Yorkipoo Oscar was diagnosed with diabetes a few months back, we struggled to find a boarding solution that would handle his Vetsulin shots. We were thrilled to find Brandon who is also a vet tech and was willing and able to handle it. It’s the perfect setting with a quiet neighborhood, a big fenced in backyard, and plenty of room for dogs to wander in the house. Brandon and his wife sent us lots of photos, videos, and updates throughout the weekend so we felt confident that Oscar was having a great time. We’re so happy to have found such a great family to take care of Oscar when we need it. We highly recommend Brandon and will be boarding with him again in the future!”

“Cider loves staying at Sunny’s and always has a good time with her dog, Sam. Sunny is wonderful and is my go to when I need to board Cider. Highly recommend. Your dog will be right at home!”

“It was great meeting Trish and our dog, Harper, hit it off with her instantly. She is very genuine and made us feel very comfortable with leaving our young dog for the first time. Harper is a 9 month old mini goldendoodle who is still working out his training and puppy energy. Trish kept us updated and sent photos daily. We unfortunately had to cut our trip short due to a family matter but will not hesitate to use Trish again in the future.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Brockton
Paulina was a God send. We left our one year old bernedoodle with a friend, while on a cross country road trip. Mid way through the trip our friend needed reprieve so I reached out to Paulina and she replied promptly and jumped in to help last minute. She picked him up, coordinating directly with my friend. She overcame training challenges that werent presenting themselves with us, and worked through some difficult situations taking really wonderful care of our pup and the others in her care. I couldn't be more quick to refer her as a pet care option. Very grateful for her last minute support. Kodi came home more well behaved then when we left.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
