“Elaine was great, this was Brady’s first time staying with someone other than family. It was very hard for us to leave him but the pictures and updates Elaine sent made us feel so much better! We will definitely bring Brady back to Elaine.”

“Jenna and Micheal took great care of Shep! We loved all the videos and photos they sent over the long weekend - it was so great that Shep had a friend to play with all weekend, he was super tired when we picked him up”

“Endy did a great job watching our dog while we were away. She kept us up to date each day with comments and pictures of our dog. Many of the pictures showed our dog engaged in play with Endy's children. When we picked up our dog, everything was ready for us to load into the car and then say our goodbyes. We would not hesitate to use Endy as a sitter in the future.”

“Fantastic experience with Brandon and his family watching our pup. He is attentive, great with communication while sitting, and has an unparalleled expertise as a vet tech. Grateful to have found someone like Brandon to care for our girl!”

“I can’t recommend Ciara highly enough! From the moment we left to the moment we returned, I never once worried about our fur baby. Her regular messages and videos made it clear he was not only well cared for, but having an absolute blast. It was such a relief to know he was in such loving, capable hands while we were on vacation. Ciara truly went above and beyond!”

About: *Please Note, Boarding Services Are Only Available for Hypoallergenic, Non-Shedding Dogs, as I live with someone who is allergic* Hi! I'm Lindsey, and I know how hard it can be to leave your dog with someone else—that's why I treat every pup as if they were my own. My goal is to provide a safe, loving, low-stress environment where your dog feels comfortable, happy, and part of the family. Whether your pup loves to play, snuggle on the couch, explore on walks, or simply relax, I tailor my care to their individual personality and routine. I believe communication is just as important as great care, so you'll receive regular photo and video updates throughout your dog's stay. I want you to enjoy your time away knowing your best friend is happy, loved, and in great hands. I understand that every dog is different, so I'm happy to follow your feeding schedule, medication routine, exercise preferences, and any special instructions to help keep things as familiar as possible. When your dog stays with me, they're not just another booking—they become part of the family. I look forward to meeting you and your furry best friend! I work full time in the Athletic Department at Bridgewater State University! I work approximately 9-5, but am only ~15 minutes away from my house and can go home on lunch breaks for potty breaks, play time, and cuddles! I have one 8 year old, 75-pound, Goldendoodle, named Trooper who LOVES friends...so your pup will never be alone! We live in a condo complex with lots of other dogs around, and a small fenced in area for off-leash play!
“Life got very chaotic very quickly with a family emergency, we were at odds what to do with Sara since she could not go with us. Luckily, Maghan and her family was able to take her, It was like leaving Sara with a trusted family member, the daily photos we were sent made the stress of having to leave her dissolve, I felt she was on vacation and extremely well taken care of.”

“This was our second time with Lora and it was even better than the first time! My 14 1/2 yr. old sweetie seemed to have returned to her younger self when I picked her up after this daytime stay with Lora. She was perky, wagging, and walking around like she owned the place! We can't wait till our next visit!”

“John and Sharon have watched our boys a few times now and every time we pull up, the boys run in excited to see them. It’s such a relief to have such a loving home to leave our boys at when we travel. We know they are spoiled and happy!”

“Brian and Shawnie are the best! Very experienced dog owners that are super reliable and trust worthy, by far the best dog boarding experience we’ve ever had. We have a very big mastiff (170 lbs) who is a giant baby so he’s tough to find the right environment for but we had zero concerns after meeting Brian and his wife. Vinny was extremely well taken care of and loved while we were away to the point that we could actually enjoy our vacation and not feel guilty or bad about leaving our baby behind! Brian went above and beyond to make sure Vinny was nice and cool on a hot day, took him for walks (which we’ve never even experienced before as everyone else is afraid to walk such a big dog), and played with him whenever he wanted. We received many updates, pictures, and videos and had total peace of mind. I highly recommend Brian’s care and will 100% be returning for all trips moving forward.”

“Trish was great! She made it easy and comfortable for me to leave my dog. She cared for Honey like she was her own. Honey had a great time hanging out with Ace! They will be buddies for a long time:) I loved all the daily updates and pictures. I will definitely use Trish again”

“Rebecca took such great care of our pup. She really knows how to care for dogs and make them feel comfortable in a new space. We are extraordinary grateful she was able to accommodate our very last minute reservation too. She was very attentive to our Hercules’ needs and provided wonderful updates. She also shared a few absolutely jaw dropping photos that we really appreciated. We highly recommend!”

“Jenn did an amazing job watching Sonny- she sent photos and updates while we were out of town on a 5-day trip and kept Sonny happy and healthy which is all we can ask for. He looked like he had loads of fun and we will of course be using Jenn in the future! We highly recommend you consider her and her family to watch over your pets!”

Super communicative and so sweet with our dog Fiona! We received lots of fun pics and Fiona was very tired when we got home. We also got a very cute bandana with Fiona’s name on it to go home with and a 3-D print of our girl! Would definitely recommend - our dog was spoiled in the best way.

Ben and Natalie took wonderful care of my girl, Denali, for a week while I was away, and I couldn’t have been happier with the experience! They were great with communication and sent me plenty of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind. Denali had the best time and loved getting to play with the other dogs. It was so nice knowing she was happy, safe, and well cared for while I was gone. I would absolutely recommend Ben and Natalie and will definitely have them watch Denali again!

Cheyenne took amazing care of my German Shepherd mix while we were away! She got tons of snuggles, walks and even a pup cup! We received lots of pictures and updates while we were gone. I’m not sure my dog wanted to come home! 😂 Highly recommend Cheyenne, we will definitely use her again in the future!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
