About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was a kid—my family has never not had one and I can’t imagine my life without my pup. I recently graduated from UVA with an MPH and am looking for part time work that brings me joy while I apply for full time jobs! I make sure to treat all dogs as if they were my own (and my pup is very very spoiled). I also recognize that this requires trust so being respectful of your home is also a major priority.

“My dog and I first met Bill at the dog park. He had adopted an abused beagle who refused to be adopted by anyone else and went to great lengths to remain with Bill, escaping boarding and chasing his car even. He has a way with dogs that sets them at ease and convinces them that he is a friend worth having. Beyond the experience with his own dog, he is known around the dog park as something as dog whisperer because they all follow him around like he's carrying treats with him( he's not.) They love to play with him and he's not afraid to get down to their level, diving right in to any activity that they prefer. They even get excited when they hear his voice. My own dog stops what she's doing and runs over to him when she hears him. It's clear he cares deeply for dogs and wants to do best by them. I would trust him with my own and fully endorse him as a reference.”

I have been raising cats for 10 years, and I also enjoy caring for dogs, although I have less experience with them. Around a year and a half ago, my fiancé and I adopted a German Shepherd mix, who has been an amazing addition to our lives. I am a huge animal lover and have always wanted to work with animals.
