“We had an amazing experience with Jessica walking our dog, Bean! She was super communicative, kept us updated throughout, and even sent adorable pictures of Bean having the time of her life. Jessica took Bean on a nice, long walk, and Bean was so happy and content afterward that she needed a nap when she got home! We found Jessica to be trustworthy, reliable, and very timely. Highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring and dependable dog walker!”

“Kate is excellent. Thoughtful, calm presence with our dog and cats, very open to guidance and just a salt-of-the-earth type of person. I find her very trustworthy and easy to interact with, and our nonhuman kids love her. Highly recommend!”

“Maegan is the best! Bart loves his weekly walks and I appreciate her willingness to help us out when we're in a pinch! Also love all the pictures and cute updates from their adventures!”

About: I got my first dog through the foster care system three years ago, and that experience completely changed the way I see dogs. Since then, I’ve come to appreciate the happiness, comfort, and companionship they bring to our often chaotic lives. I treat every dog with the same patience, care, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make each visit a positive experience so both you and your dog feel comfortable and confident in my care. There’s nothing quite like being greeted by a wagging tail and an excited smile, and I love being part of that happiness. As a full-time student, I have dedicated time each week for pet care and make reliability a priority. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and weekends from the morning until 7:00 PM. I look forward to giving your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your dog is not a easy decision. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own by following your routine, prioritizing their safety, and giving them plenty of attention during every visit. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.
“Bert has been extremely easy to set up our first walk and next home stay. He is always on time and super responsive. We feel very comfortable having him sit our dogs- thank you Bert!”

About: I've cared for kittens, adults, and senior cats my whole life. Love walking dogs from Great Danes to Minature Poodles as well. Frequent volunteer at animal shelter for changing cat and dog cages and socialization. Currently have my cat Meadow. Last two photos are my old pets Nessie the axolotl and Plissken the Sinoloan milksnake. I'm flexible around your schedule and needs, so reach out and we can discuss. Can work weekdays and weekends with more availability weekends. Can work days and nights. I take expert cat care seriously as I want to give your cat the same love as my own: toys, clean boxes, fresh food and water, and plenty of pets. As for dogs, I want them to have fun walking and playing outside in nature.
About: I’ve had pets my whole life and now I have become the honorary friend/family member to take care of everybody’s furry family members! I am available any time of the week and can simply drop in and feed or let your pets out and play with them or go for a walk! I currently am not working so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. Would be open to boarding on occasion as well. I currently have two cats at home, which is why I am more open to doing walks or dropping in as well unless your pups are good with cats
About: I love all pups and will treat your fur babies as my own 🐾 I have been caring for big dogs since I was a child and have always had a love for them. I also have previous experience working at a doggie daycare, with dogs all breeds, ages, and sizes. I have a somewhat flexible schedule and will be home with your pups to follow their bathroom and feeding schedule and get lots of play time and cuddles while they’re in my care! I wake up around 7 am, feeding and bathroom routine, play time and walks throughout the day. I can also stick to any routine needed. There is currently one dog in my home, so I will only be caring for one additional dog at a time. My apartment complex has grassy areas for bathroom time, and I have plenty of room for your dog to play and rest. Neighborhood walks are also available.

“We just moved to Norwood and feel so lucky to have found Wendy! She is a wonderful dog walker who ensured our dog Timber had the best experience while I was traveling for work. Thank you Wendy! ♥️”
“She walked our dog, Louie. She was very friendly and confident with how to handle dogs - pleasant affect without getting our dog over excited, which most people do. I would easily recommend Courtney to anyone looking for a dog walker!”

About: Hi! I’m Jenny, a nursing student and lifelong animal lover. I have experience caring for dogs of different ages and personalities, including my own senior husky, so I understand how important patience, attention, and a comfortable routine can be for every pet. I’m reliable, caring, and will treat your pets like they’re my own. Whether they need walks, playtime, feeding, lots of attention, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they feel safe and loved. I’m also happy to follow any specific routines or instructions you have and provide plenty of updates and pictures so you can feel comfortable while your pet is in my care. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! 🐾 Even though I have a pretty busy school schedule, I always make room for pets! I spend a lot of time studying, so I love having a furry study buddy nearby to keep me company. I’m happy to take study breaks for walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and plenty of attention. Having pets around makes my day better, and I’ll make sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and included in my routine. I care for every pet based on their normal routine and what makes them feel most comfortable. I make sure they’re fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of walks or playtime, and of course lots of attention and cuddles if they enjoy that! I’m also happy to follow any specific instructions you have, whether that’s medications, crate routines, potty schedules, or certain behaviors to watch for. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away.
“Calvin has taken my very energetic 5 month old puppy for a few half hour walks while my husband and I are at work. Calvin always makes sure to update us and send cute pics of their walk!”

About: I’ve been a dog person my entire life. I grew up with two Wheaten Terriers, helped raise and care for my sister’s Portuguese Water Dog from puppyhood, and now have an 11-year-old Pit Bull mix of my own. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities, and I understand that every dog has their own routine, quirks, and needs. I’m patient, attentive, and dependable, and I’ll always follow your instructions and treat your dog with the same care and attention I’d want for my own. My own dog is a senior now, so I’m excited to get back to taking longer walks with dogs who are ready to go! I know how much trust it takes to leave your dog with someone new. I’m happy to meet beforehand, get to know you and your pup, and make sure you feel completely comfortable with me before your first booking. Your dog’s safety and happiness will always come first. ❤️ I have a full-time job, but I have a flexible schedule, often work from home, and make my own hours, which gives me a lot of flexibility during the week. With enough notice, I’m happy to work around your schedule and accommodate walks, drop-ins, and pet-sitting needs whenever I can. I know every dog and family has their own routine, so I’m happy to coordinate ahead of time and find a schedule that works for everyone! I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet and home in someone else’s care. I’ll be communicative, respectful, and attentive to your dog’s routine and individual needs, with regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and your peace of mind are my top priorities!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - East Walpole
Michaela was a great walker for our dog! She was nice enough to come by for a meet and greet the day before and asked great questions. The day of the walk was quite hot and Michaela was attuned to our dog’s needs and even extended the walk so Navi could recuperate in the shade. We will definitely have Michaela help again!

Eliza has been walking my dog for over a year. She is punctual, great communicator, reliable and responsible. My dog absolutely adores her! He gets so excited when we tell her she’s walking him. She has also helped us when we needed dog services outside of our weekly walking schedule. I highly recommend Eliza for pet services.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
