About: I LOVE animals, dogs, cats, birds, you name it, any type of pet and am naturally extremely caring for them, regardless if they are my pets or not. I'm currently home from graduating college and was looking for something i would enjoy doing, and i LOVE animals, and i got introduced into Rover. I've had a dog my whole life and trained them, and would love to help other's people and their pets! I have a dog, that I feed, walk and play with everyday. I walk him for at least 15 minutes, but he likes being out and playing catch, or even play inside.
About: I got my first dog through the foster care system three years ago, and that experience completely changed the way I see dogs. Since then, I’ve come to appreciate the happiness, comfort, and companionship they bring to our often chaotic lives. I treat every dog with the same patience, care, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make each visit a positive experience so both you and your dog feel comfortable and confident in my care. There’s nothing quite like being greeted by a wagging tail and an excited smile, and I love being part of that happiness. As a full-time student, I have dedicated time each week for pet care and make reliability a priority. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and weekends from the morning until 7:00 PM. I look forward to giving your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your dog is not a easy decision. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own by following your routine, prioritizing their safety, and giving them plenty of attention during every visit. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.

“Kate is excellent. Thoughtful, calm presence with our dog and cats, very open to guidance and just a salt-of-the-earth type of person. I find her very trustworthy and easy to interact with, and our nonhuman kids love her. Highly recommend!”

About: I’ve spent years caring for others. From working with children with special needs to babysitting and being a dog owner myself. I’m patient, reliable and deeply attentive to individual needs, whether that’s a senior dog who needs a little extra care or a high-energy pup who loves to play. I treat every pet like they’re my own and always aim to make them feel safe and happy! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m free in the mornings, evenings, and weekends, which gives me plenty of time for walks, drop-ins, or overnight stays. I love building it into my day as a fun and fulfilling way to stay active and connect with animals. I treat every pet like they're part of my family. I know how important it is to trust someone with your furry friend, so I do everything I can to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they're in my care. I follow each pet's routine and any special instructions to help them feel safe and comfortable. Whether they love to play or just relax, I'll make sure they get the care and attention they deserve!

About: Hi! I’m a college student and lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs, small animals, and farm animals. I’ve had my Chiweenie for the past 8 years and trained her myself from puppyhood, including obedience and reliable recall. I’m comfortable with puppies, senior dogs, anxious or reactive dogs, giving medication, and caring for multiple pets at once. One of my biggest strengths is reading dog body language and adjusting my approach to each dog’s individual needs. I can be calm and gentle with nervous dogs while also providing structure and boundaries when needed. I offer walks, drop-in visits, house sitting, boarding, and daycare. For boarding, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog for everyone’s comfort and safety. I also have years of customer service experience, so you can count on clear communication, regular updates, and lots of photos. I’d love the opportunity to get to know your pet and provide them with safe, reliable care. Pet care is already a part of my daily routine. As a college student with a flexible schedule, I am able to dedicate time each day to walks, feeding, enrichment, playtime, and companionship. I live an active lifestyle and regularly go on long walks, hikes, and runs, so I am comfortable keeping up with high-energy dogs that need extra exercise. I work to maintain each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and secure while in my care. My goal is to make sure every pet receives plenty of attention, activity, and individualized care. Safety is my top priority when caring for any pet. I take the time to learn each pet’s routine, personality, and individual needs so I can provide care that helps them feel comfortable and secure. I have experience with puppies, anxious dogs, and reactive dogs, and I pay close attention to body language to help prevent stressful situations before they happen. In my home, visiting dogs can be kept completely separate from my own dog if needed. Outdoor time is always supervised, and I use secure leashes and long lines when appropriate. I also provide regular updates and photos so owners can feel confident their pets are safe, happy, and well cared for.
About: Hey, thanks for checking out my profile. I’d like to start by introducing myself, my name is Tina and I’m a passionate caretaker who has 20 years of pet care experience. Since the age of 6 I’ve been caring for dogs and cats we had them in our home growing up as well as two parakeets. I pride myself in offering comprehensive services for furry companions and a loving environment for your pet to thrive. I’m skilled in dog walking, pet sitting over night or during the day, drop ins, grooming, and caring for senior dogs and cats. Also comfortable administering medications and taking animals to veterinary appointments. I’m dedicated to providing a quiet, peaceful and loving, safe environment tailored to each pet's needs. Im a trustworthy choice for pet owners seeking attentive, personalized care for each pet all dogs and cats are different and I’m pretty flexible in making sure I meet the needs of every individualized pet. I also take all kinds of requests depending on what your fur friend specifically needs. Also if transporting a pet is a concern or tough for whatever reason don’t worry because I can help with that as well if necessary. Im currently working full time as a train driver in the community locally. My days are quite flexible because I work only 5 minutes from home and I’m usually not away from the house on work days for more than 7 hours at a time. I’m off Tuesdays Wednesday and I have full availability during those days and early afternoons and evenings the other days because my shift sometimes ends at 1240pm. I also have some availability on the weekends after 2pm. The environment plays a vital role in the moods and well being of animals. I live in Arlington ma and it’s very very peaceful and quiet here and in my home. My home is clean and pet proof safe with gates sectioning each part of every room. Huge living room and open space for play and a gated closed off private backyard for outdoor play.
About: I am excited to dog-walk and cat sit. I am available to watch single or multiple pets for your family, and I have a flexible schedule on weekends and holidays. I have had cats for many years, I have actually used rover when I went away and I know what an important decision it is to hire the right person to watch your furry loved ones. I have watched my sister’s two puppies and they are included in my photos. I will assist with grooming, feeding and playing as needed. I’m available most weekends and evenings, or early mornings. This is a part-time job for me but I will accommodate as best I can. I’m also open to offering a discount off total booking price if you are going out of town for a long time (like over a week or two). Every clients home is different, so I will try to learn the environment as much as possible. If it's for dog walking, I will learn the neighborhood with the dog.

Alexandra was fantastic with our 2 very active dogs. From the very first moment they met her, it was clear that they were in love. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
