About: Dogs have been one of the great loves of my life. I've been taking care of them, and doing life with them for years :) I currently work full time and will be a graduate nursing student in the fall, pet care fits into my routine as a side gig! I care for pets by treating them as if they are a loved member of my own family, caring for their individual needs always :)
“Meaghan was excellent for my pup Bilbo, we hired her late and in a bind with work things going on. She showed up on time and was able to take Bilbo out no problem. We look forward to hiring her again!”

About: I have dog sat multiple dogs at one time for as long as a week long stay. I am very active and enjoy outside walks, and I am able to keep up with fast, strong, and heavy pets. I have always loved animals and am happy to sit and pet a dog or cat for hours. I am a full time student with a low commitment part time job looking for a way to fill my time with work I am passionate about which is spending time with animals and helping owners! I prioritize integrity, safety, and communication. My goal is to keep pets safe and owner’s minds at ease. I enjoy quality time with pets and want to make your life easier!
“Isabell is great! Not afraid of a big loud dog, gives all the love. Very communicative and follows direction well. Super easy and hassle free booking. Super flexible! Not enough good things to say about her!”

About: I have done this professionally for over four years. With 9 years total experience. Started with a dog walking company now doing it on my own. Growing up I had an English Mastiff and Greater Swiss Mountain Dog named Cyrus & Jack. I love all animals, spending time with them for me is therapeutic and whenever I would travel it makes it so much easier knowing your dog (who is family!) is well taken care of. It means a lot to be able to provide that to people and their pets. I work security at Gillette part time, while also studying acting at a conservatory during the year. I have most of my time off now and can fill it doing this, providing great care and service. When I am working with a pet it is the top priority nothing comes above that. I go through a complete list of checks whenever sitting or going to a clients home. I can accommodate travel and pick ups. When boarding my attention is always to them, taking them for walks, to the bathroom and out to play with a toy or enjoy the nice weather.

Whether it’s long walks or cozy cuddle sessions, I’m here to make sure they feel loved and cared for. :) 🐶 A house with plenty of space for your furry friends to explore every corner😊 Plus, there is a park nearby for some pawsitive playtime! 🐾
About: I am excited to dog-walk and cat sit. I am available to watch single or multiple pets for your family, and I have a flexible schedule on weekends and holidays. I have had cats for many years, I have actually used rover when I went away and I know what an important decision it is to hire the right person to watch your furry loved ones. I have watched my sister’s two puppies and they are included in my photos. I will assist with grooming, feeding and playing as needed. I’m available most weekends and evenings, or early mornings. This is a part-time job for me but I will accommodate as best I can. I’m also open to offering a discount off total booking price if you are going out of town for a long time (like over a week or two). Every clients home is different, so I will try to learn the environment as much as possible. If it's for dog walking, I will learn the neighborhood with the dog.

About: I got my first dog through the foster care system three years ago, and that experience completely changed the way I see dogs. Since then, I’ve come to appreciate the happiness, comfort, and companionship they bring to our often chaotic lives. I treat every dog with the same patience, care, and attention I’d want for my own. Whether it’s a walk, playtime, or simply keeping them company, my goal is to make each visit a positive experience so both you and your dog feel comfortable and confident in my care. There’s nothing quite like being greeted by a wagging tail and an excited smile, and I love being part of that happiness. As a full-time student, I have dedicated time each week for pet care and make reliability a priority. I’m available Tuesday and Thursday mornings, Wednesdays from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM, and weekends from the morning until 7:00 PM. I look forward to giving your dog the attention, exercise, and care they deserve. I understand that trusting someone with your dog is not a easy decision. I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own by following your routine, prioritizing their safety, and giving them plenty of attention during every visit. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you always know how your pup is doing.
“We were staying at Normandy Farms Campground in Foxboro, MA and wanted to do a long day trip to Boston. Luckily we found John Patrick to walk our dog, Sawyer, multiple times while we were away. It was so convenient because he and his wife are staying here as well as seasonal work campers. They offered to stop by the day before and meet Sawyer so he would be more comfortable. John is super friendly, patient, and reliable. You can tell they love annimas and treat other peoples’ pets as they would their own. I would 100% recommend him and use him again.”

About: Starting when I was only two years old, I became the neighborhood dog walker. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, birds, and more. In 2020, I began my own cat rescue and to date have saved 40 stray/feral cats and kittens. I have experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, and am certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. My house is full of fur babies - I have a pit bull and three cats of my own. I know how stressful it can be to go away and leave them, and I hope to alleviate some of that stress! ❤️ I work as a therapist in Dedham. My schedule is semi flexible and I work remotely on Wednesdays. I do not work on Fridays or over the weekends. I feel very comfortable with all animals. My rescue work has taught me how to work well with terrified or aggressive animals, and I have a lot of patience. I feel comfortable crating dogs if that is requested, as well as walking very big or very strong dogs.
About: I’ve taken care and done pet sitting for years since I was 16. I also take care of my mother’s elderly dog and my 7 year old golden doodle. After being in corporate finance for the last 10 years I have decided to take a break and go back to school to pursue other passions. I have a flexible schedule and I am ready to accommodate your pets needs! I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to accommodate your pet’s schedule! I can offer morning, afternoon, or night walks. I live in a wonderful condo community with plenty of walking trails and a good sized condo that they are free to roam! I can accommodate special requests to make your pet’s stay more comfortable!
About: I'm a safe, dependable dog walker and sitter. I treat all pets lovingly. I adopted my Golden Doodle at three years old after I retired. She's like my child and is very welcoming and friendly. Previous to my Golden, I owned a beautiful Yellow Lab for 12 years. I am loving and nurturing to all pets, keep them safe, and take care of their needs so they are happy. I’m available for drop-ins, sitting, and visits. I always do a meet and greet before finalizing a commitment because it’s helpful for me to meet the pet and owner, and learn more about their routine and expectations to make sure it’s a good fit for everyone. Times can be discussed. This gives me plenty of time to watch your pet, and make sure their needs are met. I like to work out a schedule with the owner that works best for everyone. I'm semi-retired, and work at a flexible part time job so I have plenty of time to provide proper care for your family pets! At this time, I’m specializing in watching dogs mornings and evenings based on my commitments and obligations at the clients house. I am available for drop-ins, sitting, and walks.

About: I bring both professional-level pet care experience and the perspective of a devoted dog owner. Having two dogs of my own has given me valuable experience with daily care, exercise, training reinforcement, and understanding canine behavior. Your pet will be treated with the same love and attention I give my own. I’m currently a teacher looking for a fun side job during the summer and during the week after work! I have a very open schedule and will make time for any pet! I have a dog park and a lot of land that my dogs love! I respect the space of others and assure that the pet is comfortable and taken care of.
About: Growing up I had four dogs and two cats in my family. Two of the dogs were German Shepherds and the other two were medium sized hound mixed breeds! So it goes without saying I’m experienced with handling and caring for multiple dogs/animals at once including large breeds! I can stop by to check on your pet(s) throughout the day or take your dog(s) for walks. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only! I will always give my full attention to your pet(s) and make sure that they are safe and happy when I’m with them! I can bring my own leash for walks/outside time if needed but I always encourage the pet parents to provide their own since they know what works best with their pet.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
