“Thanks for the awesome service and care to my two big dogs throughout 3 days that I was away. First time leaving my dogs at home verses boarding, and thanks to your communication and commitment it was perfect!”

About: Starting when I was only two years old, I became the neighborhood dog walker. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, birds, and more. In 2020, I began my own cat rescue and to date have saved 40 stray/feral cats and kittens. I have experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, and am certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. My house is full of fur babies - I have a pit bull and three cats of my own. I know how stressful it can be to go away and leave them, and I hope to alleviate some of that stress! ❤️ I work as a therapist in Dedham. My schedule is semi flexible and I work remotely on Wednesdays. I do not work on Fridays or over the weekends. I feel very comfortable with all animals. My rescue work has taught me how to work well with terrified or aggressive animals, and I have a lot of patience. I feel comfortable crating dogs if that is requested, as well as walking very big or very strong dogs.
“My dogs love Amber. We do, too! She’s kind, honest (which we value very highly) and just a pleasant person to be around. We recommend her without hesitation.”
About: Hi families! My name is Molly, and I have been dog walking since I was 11 years old! I have 3 years of professional pet care experience, and I've cared for dogs, cats, small animals, reptiles, and even farm pets, and I absolutely love getting to individually know each pet ☺️. In addition to pet care, I currently work as a nanny. This has without a doubt strengthened my reliability, patience, and attention to detail. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for a member of your family, whether they have two legs or four! I have experience caring for puppies, senior dogs, and administering oral medications. I'm very comfortable following specific instructions and always strive to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their families are away. I plan to attend vet tech school in the coming year, and I'm super passionate about expanding my knowledge of animal care! I always love to provide updates and as many photos as I can during visits so you can feel reassurance about your pets while you are away :). I would love to help your family and furry friends out, and I can’t wait to hear from you! 🐾💕 I’m currently a Nanny during the daytime, however after June 22nd I have full availability! Until then, I am available weekends and weekdays after 4pm :). I would be caring for your fur babies in your home! However, I would make sure to treat your pets like my own 💕. That would include walks when needed, playtime, proper feeding times, and consistent water refills. Your pets would be happy and comfortable no matter what!
About: I’ve been an animal owner and lover my whole life. I enjoy walking in parks and spending time outside playing tug o war. Inside snuggles are fun too! I currently work full time in home position Wednesday-Saturday evening. I am available for check ins and walks on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday Wednesdays from 7a-12pm. I have a friendly, loving cat who loves all the space and windows in my home. No yard, but plenty of parks only .5-1 mile away from home.
“Nicole has been great with our dog Benji! She walks him twice a week and he has warmed up to her very quickly. She’s very caring and attentive and communicative! Highly recommend!”

About: I have dog sat multiple dogs at one time for as long as a week long stay. I am very active and enjoy outside walks, and I am able to keep up with fast, strong, and heavy pets. I have always loved animals and am happy to sit and pet a dog or cat for hours. I am a full time student with a low commitment part time job looking for a way to fill my time with work I am passionate about which is spending time with animals and helping owners! I prioritize integrity, safety, and communication. My goal is to keep pets safe and owner’s minds at ease. I enjoy quality time with pets and want to make your life easier!
About: I've grown up with pets my entire life. Started working at a boarding and training facility and finally decided to branch out on my own. Between learning to administer meds for my diabetic cat to training my own dog to be daughters emotional support pet, I have quite a bit of knowledge. I look forward to taking care of others four-legged, fluffy friends as if they were my own! I am looking to fill my life with animals, however possible. I can be available at the drop of a hat to help with anyone's pet care needs. I have a tendency to spoil animals...If you let your dog sleep on the furniture then I will fully condone that and be curled up with them! If your cat gets to share your warm glass of milk before bed, then my milk is their milk!
“Patricia is amazing!! She is not only very reliable but also incredibly loving and supportive of my sweet and skittish dog. I am grateful that Patricia is our dog walker!!”

About: I have been caring for dogs and cats since I was a little girl, whether they were my own pets or the pets of neighbors, friends, or the dogs at my daycare job. People know they can rely on me especially when it comes to their pets, because I know that to most people, their dog or cat is seen as an important member of the family and they should be treated as such. I will respect your property and privacy and make sure I follow your instructions to the T.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
