“Rufus has quickly connected with Alyssah! Our boi is a generally-anxious and fearful dog. It took only 2 walks for him to understand he can (and does) trust Allyssah. Her energy is kind, calm, and she clearly understands dogs and their individual needs. This is our very first experience with a dog walker, and I'm extremely grateful that it is turning out to be so GOOD for Ruf and for us. Thank you, Allyssah!”

I’m also a USDA-certified pet transporter, experienced in safely transporting pets for relocations, breeder transport, vet appointments, and airport pickups. About: Caring for animals is one of my passions. I have taken care of my friends and family's dogs as well as my own for multiple years. I have also been completing dog caregiver jobs on Wag. I would be happy to provide your pets with the exercise they need as well as the love and attention they desire! I am currently a student on summer break. I am available all throughout the week to take care of pets besides specific cases which I mark on my calendar. In terms of boarding, I try my best to not make any plans to leave the house very often during the booking. I have a big fenced in yard and a very loving Lab mix who likes the company and playtime with new dogs. Your dog will have access to furniture as well as upstairs for sleeping if necessary. I would be happy to also provide walks during boardings/sittings. For sittings I am available to stay overnight and provide your pet with all the care they need.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I often pet sit for puppies only a few months old, and cared for my senior girl as her mobility decreased. I have also taken care of dogs that followed strict diets and medication routines. Providing the care that your dog requires to keep them happy and healthy is my priority! Whether they prefer to take it easy and chill on the couch, or go on long walks and play fetch for hours, I will adapt and ensure your pup is happy. I am currently finishing up my master’s degree, and am doing my internship part time during the week. My schedule is flexible for the days that I provided availability, so I am happy to adapt to your needs! I am happy to follow the safety guidelines and routines that you have set for your pet. I have a fenced in yard at my home for my pets, and they roam in and out all day. However, I have also watched pets without a fenced in yard that needed to be leashed when they go outside so I am happy to adapt and supervise your dog just as you would! If you prefer to crate your dog when they are indoors, I will happily do so as well so as to not impact your pet’s sense of normalcy and the rules they need to follow. If you prefer your dog to be alone on walks, I’d be happy to walk them in places where there are few other people or dogs around so that they feel safe.

About: I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I’m the current parent of a dog and cat named Macy and Cider. Ever since I was a kid, my family often volunteered to watch, walk, and care for the pets of friends and extended family. I have also worked and volunteered at zoos for many years to help teach people about the wonderful critters all over our world. Needless to say, animals have been a big part of my life as long as I can remember! I recently finished a school year of full time substitute teaching, and I’m taking no a summer off to job hunt and pursue teaching licensing. Having the summer off means I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do not have a fenced yard, but I supplement that by giving my dog, Macy, plenty of time to walk outside (her favorite activity), visit the dog park, and play indoors to get her potty breaks and her energy out. She is a very low energy dog who gets along well with others, people and dogs alike! I have a cat named Cider as well, who keeps to herself around other animals, while she’s never been around cats friendlier than her, she is very sweet to people who treat her with gentle respect.
“Caitlyn was able to fill in for us when our regular dog walker was unavailable. She had great communication, was on time and provided us with plenty of pictures of our pups during her visits. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again!”

“I can't say enough good things about Patricia! She managed my two black labs beautifully - and that is a feat with them being energetic, headstrong and 80+ lbs each! Getting her daily report cards is so fun”

“Lesley is amazing! We contacted her on short notice when my fiance was suddenly returning back to work. We loved that she had the experience to provide training walks for our little guy who is still learning his leash manners. She was flexible with our schedules, and keeps in contact with updates/videos throughout. She has provided us great advice on how to be better dog parents while on our walks. In just a few visits our baby is already behaving so much better on his walks! Do yourself a favor and hire Lesley!”

About: I've been taking care of dogs and other small animals since I was 13. I have been called upon for walking, feeding, and play dates since I was 16. I am an avid runner, who would love to take your dogs on long walks or short runs to tucker them out. I make my own schedule so I'm very flexible. If I have a busier day, I'm finished with my day by 6 in the afternoon I have a 4 year old rescue, a pomeranian mix named Macaroni. He has generalized anxiety, so you can count on me to be able to make your pet feel safe with me at all times!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
