“Candi has been such a blessing to our family. She communicates before and after each walk, sends multiple pictures, and is very kind and reliable. She was open to helping train our 1yr old rescue dog and provides much feedback regarding their progress. We are comfortable with Candi driving our dog to the local walking trail since our neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks. Candi is an asset to Rover and I know our pup agrees.”

“Ellie has been great taking care of my dogs! She always updates me on what time she is coming and takes lots of pictures. I trust her to give my dogs the attention they need while I am gone :)”

About: I love working as a caregiver for dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. I am an artist and educator who is relatively new to Providence, working part-time as Faculty at RISD, and would love to spend some time with your dear pet! I offer new clients a complimentary introductory meeting with you and your pet! I am currently working part-time, and have lots of daytime availability to spend with your creatures! I am available most days before 3 pm. I will be traveling April 27 - May 7th, but have lots of availability before and after that trip. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in client's homes as a pet sitter, nanny, eldercare caregiver, and mental health attendant. I am comfortable working with your rhythms, space, and routine. I am very mindful in my client's homes and always respect their environments ways that meet their individual standards.
“I was in need of last minute care for Rocky and I sent a request out to a bunch of people. Amanda responded immediately and was willing to help! She made sure she understood the care instructions I provided and took him on a great walk, and most importantly he loved her. I’ll definitely be using Amanda again after the holidays.”

About: Hello! My name is Veru, and I run a private, small family-owned home dog retreat in Riverside, RI. I work from home full-time and live a very active lifestyle, which allows me to provide flexible, attentive, and personalized care throughout the day. I began offering my services through Rover and have worked with many different pets of all ages, sizes, and backgrounds. I also have previous experience providing pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for friends and family. Your dog will stay in a calm, clean, cage-free home never in loud kennels or overcrowded facilities. I design each stay around your pet’s normal routine so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. My daughter, a college student, works by my side and can also provide in-home care at your residence if preferred, allowing your pet to remain in their familiar environment. What makes us different: • No cages • No strict restrictions or time limits • We follow your routine — or can implement ours • Park trips, neighborhood walks, bike-path walks, and beach walks (weather permitting) • Apartment complex dog park access • Limited dogs, full attention • Daily photo & video updates Your dog becomes part of our home, many guests even sleep with me for extra comfort, unless you prefer they sleep in their own bed. What to bring: Just your dog’s food, favorite snacks, favorite toy and their bed if they prefer their own — we provide the love, walks, play, rest, and care. 📍 Riverside, RI Boarding • Daycare • Private Walks • Pick-Up & Drop-Off I have a remote job, If you are hiring me for housesitting / daycare / boarding, you can sure l will likely be with your pet all day long. Note: My daycare rate is $45 for stays between 1 and 10 hours. If care extends beyond 10 hours, an extended care fee of $25 will apply. The final total is calculated and adjusted at the end of the booking based on the actual pickup time. Your pup’s trust and comfort are my top priority. I follow their regular routine as closely as possible so they feel safe, relaxed, and at home. Every pet has a unique personality and individual needs, and I take the time to understand and accommodate each one. For added safety and peace of mind, I also use GPS tracking during walks and outings until your pet is safely returned to you.

About: I've cared for dogs and cats since I was 13, and it is a large passion of mine. Countless family, friends and clients have trusted me to not only watch their pets, but care for them as my own. I am trustworthy, responsible, and most of all loving towards every animal I meet. I have a rescue hound dog of my own who is 13 years old, and I have cared for him since he was just a puppy. This has taught me how to care for puppies to senior dogs. I've worked with small dogs and large dogs alike. Additionally, I have plenty of experience with cats as well as I have spent many years taking care of my grandmother's cats. I have also spent many years nannying in positions where I have cared for both children and pets, which has taught me responsibility as well. I would love to take care of your pet and appreciate you trusting me with a part of your family! I'm currently in school to be an elementary teacher, so I have time to watch your pets when I am out of class! On Mondays and Wednesday's I am available in the evenings after 4 pm, Tuesday's and Thursdays I am available after 10 am, and I am free most Fridays and Saturdays all day! I would love to either do a one time visit, or reoccurring! I am very trustworthy and will treat your home and pets with respect and kindness. I understand that is hard to trust anyone with a pet we love so much, but I promise I will care for and keep your fur baby safe like I do my own!

“When searching for a dog walker, I was impressed with Donna’s previous reviews on Rover, so we did a meet & greet, and I decided to hire her for Tedy. I am happy to say I made the right decision. She was great with him, and I will definitely use her again”

About: MY CURRENT SCHEDULE: Doggie Day Care: Mondays, Wednesdays*, & Fridays (*Wednesday DayCare is currently full*) Walks and Visits: Tuesdays and Thursdays Boarding: everyday! *I take unfixed puppies up to first birthday* As an avid dog enthusiast, I have many friends with dogs that visit and a very dog friendly household. I am a lover of all dogs having personally adopted small, medium, and extra large breeds with hair, fur, and fuzzy fur! All of my furbabies have stayed with me from puppyhood through geriatrics. I currently have a Bernese Mountain Dog/Golden Retriever Mix and an English-Cream Golden Retriever. Before Rover, I cared for many dogs (even long term), they have overlapped and needed varying levels of care and attention. We are flexible! With Rover I have seen over 200 pups come through, and I love every one! I've had diabetic, geriatric, epileptic, and all sorts of medicated pups as well as the newly vaccinated youngest puppy in my care. We have a strict policy that I administer all meds, but for all other care we currently have 3 additional adults in the house that all pitch in and enjoy the pups. (no really they love my job too :) This is what I do! I seriously have the best job in the world. Every day I am home with my pups and yours getting licks, playing ball, and snuggling on the couch or visiting your home where your pup is excited to get a special visit with a potty and cookie break! I have a fenced in yard with a double gated entrance just like the dog parks. The yard is round pea-stone and turf so there is minimal dirt (although the slobber is another story). The 4 foot fence is locked on the main road side, it has top and bottom rails so no one is going underneath, the gaps at the gates are blocked securely. There is even chicken wire behind our lattice work under the porch. Sadly I can't fix the 4 ft jumpers, 8 lbs-110lbs have been safe and secure otherwise!
“We couldn't be more grateful to have had Gilbert as our dog walker while we were on vacation. From the very beginning, was professional, trustworthy, and—most importantly—absolutely wonderful with our dog. Gilbert took the time to understand our dog's routine, quirks, and preferences, and it showed in how happy and relaxed our pup was when we got home. He kept us updated with photos and little notes after each visit, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. It’s clear that Gilbert genuinely cares about the pets he works with—he treated our dog like his own. If you're looking for someone dependable, kind, and truly great with animals, we wholeheartedly recommend Gilbert. We’ll definitely be booking him again! Thank you so much, The Rebello's”

About: Hi there! My name is Shane, and I’m based in Taunton, MA, providing pet care all across Massachusetts and RI. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and even chinchillas. My background includes working as a playgroup supervisor at a doggy daycare outside Boston, as well as my former position at Providence Animal Rescue League as a communications coordinator and pet photographer (which means I’d be happy to capture some great photos of your pets, too!). In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m comfortable and experienced with administering medications — including to cats and dogs with special medical needs. I understand the importance of patience and precision when it comes to keeping pets healthy and happy. At home, I share life with my partner Anna (also an animal lover and caregiver), our diabetic cat Nestor, and our two leopard geckos, Meechee and Verne. I also help care for my family’s dog, Finn, whenever I can. Currently, I work mostly remotely, with occasional in office days. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting/boarding, I bring a mix of professional experience, personal passion, and a whole lot of care to every pet I meet. I’d love the chance to get to know you and your pets! I currently work a hybrid-remote job that is dominantly remote, with occasional in office days. Myself and my partner are a lovely tag team of caregivers when it comes to our cat and leopard geckos! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible so your pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love and attention. I keep a close eye on their well-being, send updates and photos, and always leave your home just as I found it. To be able to stay in your home is a privilege in itself, so I thank you for the hospitality! When pets stay with me, I provide a safe and cozy environment, enrichment through play, and plenty of supervised attention. I believe in treating every animal as if they were my own — making sure they’re happy, healthy, and cared for in the way that suits them best.
About: I’ve always had a soft spot for dogs and believe every one of them deserves patient, loving care. I’m comfortable with dogs of different ages, sizes, and temperaments, and I do my best to make them feel safe, happy, and understood. Whether your dog is playful, shy, young, or older, I’ll treat them with real care and attention. No matter the age, all dogs are puppies to me! I am new to this, but I will make pet care a consistent part of my routine and plan my schedule carefully so your loved one gets the time and attention they need. I’m reliable with check-ins, feedings, playtime, cleaning, walks, and keeping pets company. I promise to do my best to be flexible and, more importantly, communicate clearly so owners always know their pets are being cared for. Will send cute pics for reassurance! :D I have always created a calm, safe, and clean environment for every pet in my care. I follow feeding instructions closely, respect each pet’s routine, and pay attention to their comfort, behavior, and boundaries. In a client’s home, I make sure to be respectful and dependable, and keep things tidy while giving their pet patient attentive care. Have only helped family but when I love another's pet to me they also become family. <3
