“This was my first time leaving my puppy for such an extended period of time, and it was nerve wrecking trying to figure out how to keep Mushu safe, happy, and healthy while I was away. Thankfully, I came across Casey and Phil's profile. Met them and their dog Chloe for a meet and greet far in advance, heard about their extensive experience with dogs, and got to see Mushu interact with them in person. Spent way too long talking to them about anything and everything, and they were very patient with me and my concerns. Casey was also super helpful with reassurances, frequent updates, pictures, and videos. Overall, great experience. Heard Mushu was anxious for a bit because it was such a new experience, but he seemed content to play and receive all the love and attention while he was there. Thank you for caring for my baby!”

“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. Even though we had to drive 45 minutes to them, it was 100% worth it. Thank you, Jenna, Michael, and Chase.”

“Zachary, his lovely daughter, and pup were wonderful to our boy Tau. Zachary kept us up on their adventures/activities, and sent us some cute pictures…one was especially sweet/funny because the first night Tau was relaxing on their couch, lol. I texted Zachary it was like Tau was on a Dad weekend lol. Thank you, Zachary!!”

“Another perfect stay with Sarah. Sarah always provides lots of photos and updates everyday. She and Rex took great care of Cooper and Black. We look forward to booking with Sarah again!”

“This is the first time Mimi stayed with Ty and her family. Mimi seemed to settle in easily with the family. It is a bonus that she had the chance to spend time with Ty’s two children. All were kind and loving with her. I appreciated the daily updates and photos from Ty. Mimi is home sleeping on the sofa next to me. I would not hesitate to leave Mimi with Ty and her family, again.”

“Karen is very sweet and caring. She loves pups and treats them as their own. Our dog stayed with her while we were on vacation for a week and we were not worried at all. Her dog is gentile and very playful which our dog loved. They played together a lot and it was sad to take her away from him when we got home. We will definitely be rebooking!”

“Awesome caregiver. Pleasant and friendly. My pup felt comfortable and did extremely well during her visit. Ciara was great at updates, sending messages and videos. Pleasure to do business, would definitely recommend to anyone in need of a sitter. "I'll be back"”

“Tara was wonderful — we recommend her and would leave our dog in her care again. She communicated well and our dog was calm and happy when we picked her up after a two night stay.”

“Eve was really lovely, flexible, and communicative. We got updates daily and our dog always seemed like she was having a fantastic time! Would definitely ask to have our pup stay with her again!”

“First time leaving Gus for a long time. Courtney kept me at ease with her great communication and sharing photos! Her dog Lucy and Gus hit it off right away. I’ve already rebooked for another upcoming trip! Recommend 100/10”

“We are a repeat customer with Robert. Daily updates with pics and videos. Great communication and very flexable with pic ups and drop offs. He socialized our pet in walks and visits, which we love.”

“Chris and Whitney were great. I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with them (we did a meet and greet as well!) They updated me daily w pics and responded to me promptly if I checked in as well. She played a lot and was very comfortable with them. I will definitely use them again!”

“Everything was great with our dog’s stay with Paige. She sent photos and updates and she even was dealing with a storm and power outages throughout - will certainly book with her again.”

“We love anely! She takes such good care of our puppy. It was her first long stay and she took such good care of her. Lots of updates and pictures. She even took care of an injury she had gotten before her stay. Thank you for everything!!!”

“Matthew took such excellent care of my dog over the weekend, he was attentive and gentle and gave my dog his all the medications that he needed. His love for cavaliers is a plus and I felt at ease leaving my dog under his care. I would easily recommend him for anyone who is looking for a dog sitter.”

“Isabel is best! She and her husband took amazing care of our two dogs while we were away. They are excellent communicators and sent us really thoughtful updates throughout the week. You can tell Isabel is an animal lover and a responsible & caring person right away, so we felt at ease leaving our dogs in her care. She also has two very sweet and adorable dogs, so it was nice to know our dogs had some canine company to hang out with while we were away. Thank you again Isabel and Shawn!”

“Katarina took great care of our kitties while we went away for the weekend. From our first phone conversation, it was very clear how much she loves animals and it left us feeling reassured that our babies were in capable & loving hands. She sent us pivs of our babies and gave daily updates. Great work by an excellent pet sitter. We would not hesitate to use Katarina again!”

“Stephanie took great care of our two cats over the weekend. She was able to gain their trust and get them to come out of their hiding spots for some pets. We’d love to have Stephanie watch them again!”

“This was my first time using Rover and was blown away by Crystal. The daily messages and pictures were everything to me, and she even left me a couple of framed pictures of my cats which were a delightful surprise. Crystal is wonderful, and I look forward to utilizing her again in the future!”

“Liana was an excellent caretaker. She immediately achieved my cat's trust and sent wonderful photos. Both cat and house were in excellent shape when I returned. I recommend her highly.”

“Allison was great! She's very friendly and it's clear she loves cats. Cali isn't the most affectionate but still hung around Allison the whole visit. Allison's daily summaries, pictures and videos were fantastic! We would definitely use her again.”

“Kathryn is FANTASTIC! She took such good care of my cats while I was away, I think they missed her when I came back. I am grateful for how well she communicated with me and the time she spent with them and loved all the pictures she sent me. I would not hesitate to request her help again.”

“Carse did a wonderful job with keeping me updated / providing lots of pictures and info and making sure my cat was well cared for. He is often shy around new people, but I could really tell how much he warmed right up to her! Would absolutely book again.”

“Meira was an incredible sitter for my two cats when I was away on vacation. She was always on time, consistent with updates, and more than willing to provide extra love and attention. I would definitely use her as a sitter again!”

“Heath did a fantastic job with our 2 cats. One of our cats is super shy around people and basically just goes into hiding when we travel. We usually just have someone come by to leave dry food out for her. Heath was the first person other than us to get her to eat wet food and even come out for pets and playtime. We feel genuinely lucky to have found such a reliable sitter!”

About: I have grown up with and cared for many animals my whole life. I do have a soft spot for cats and dogs but I see all animals as equal I even find pet spiders and lizards adorable! A home isn’t a home to me unless there’s a family pet to share the love with. While most of my experience is caring for cats and dogs I do have three years of experience of caring for cats with special needs. I am currently working only a few hours a week which gives me a great opportunity to dedicate the rest of my time and energy to your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do live on a dead end street that is very quiet and doesn’t see a lot of traffic.

About: I've been a cat owner for many years and have cared for multiple cats with different personalities and needs. Having owned two cats and currently caring for one, I understand the importance of maintaining routines, respecting boundaries, and providing a calm, comfortable environment. I'm experienced with feeding schedules, litter box maintenance, playtime, and recognizing when a cat needs space or extra attention. I treat every cat as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for while their owners are away!
“Jonathan was a lifesaver when prior a pet sitter canceled last minute, and in a way I’m happy it turned out that way! You can tell from the minute you meet him he genuinely cares for your animals like they are his own and makes every effort to show it. He even crocheted a blanket for our kitty! My husband and I never had to worry a day while we were on our vacation because we knew our cats were in great hands. We cannot begin to thank you enough!”

“Madison is amazing. She took the best care of my kitties and was very responsible, attentive, and made sure they got lots of attention. I highly recommend her. I’m definitely sticking with her.”

“Very welcoming host, nice big backyard, kept us updated with numerous photos. Wasn't sure our dog would line being around other dogs but it worked out well.”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Anely babysat our doggie, Dennis, while we were in town visiting my mom for Mother’s Day and couldn’t take him to brunch with us . 🤣 She was very accommodating and took great care of my nervous Mama’s boy—even sent me a picture to show that he was doing well. Highly recommend!”

“Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

“Sent lots of photos and updates as I asked! Smokey clearly has a lot of fun and made some nice puppy friends. The kids were also very gentle and sweet with my pup”

“Paige was wonderful with my pup, Lulu! Paige is very responsive, responsible and organized, and takes very good care of her charges. Paige's young sons were awesome with Lulu, and her own dogs very friendly and patient with her. Highly recommend Paige!”

“Gunther loved hanging out at Courtney’s house with his new friend Lucy! They are great hosts. He came back exhausted and happy- we enthusiastically recommend them to anyone looking for a safe and friendly home-away-from-home for their canine companion.”

“Very is amazing! Bodhi loved his two days with her while mom & dad did NPT Folk Fest! They went on walks, to the park, and even got some good cuddles in. Thank you so so much!!”

“Sonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!”

“Zachary was great and took Oakley in last-minute after my other sitter cancelled. He was very understanding of Oakley's needs and they seemed to have a great time!”

About: Hi, My name is Sabrina! I've spent the past 9 years in professional pet care. When I'm not spending time with your lovely fur babies, I'm hiking and hanging out with my boxer/mastiff Jackson! I currently work for an adventure dog daycare in providence , and am hoping to branch out with more of my own clientele in this area. I offer walks, home visits, hikes, and boarding at my home. Discounts available for consistent scheduling. I look forward to meeting and caring for your pets! I am available Monday through Sunday, time slots are currently flexible. I will update this section as regular sports fill in. Weekends and nights available on a case by case basis Safety above all else! “Isabel took wonderful care of Dexter this week! We so enjoyed her thoughtful and informative daily updates. She made sure he was comfortable, following his usual daily schedule and fostering positive and playful interactions with her dog Griggs. We are grateful for her proactive and in-depth communication and her timely pickups and dropoffs. She is a dog sitting gem!”

About: Hi! I’m a reliable pet sitter based in Providence, and animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I grew up always being around dogs and cats—walking them, feeding them, and helping take care of their daily routines. Being with animals has always felt natural to me, not just something I do, but something I genuinely enjoy. Over the years, I’ve had different kinds of hands-on experiences that taught me a lot about animal care. I’ve cared for a cat that had a litter of kittens, helped raise and look after them, and learned what it takes to keep both mom and babies safe and comfortable. I’ve also been an animal foster caregiver, which gave me experience adjusting quickly to different personalities, routines, and needs. Because of that, I’m very comfortable with all kinds of pets—whether they’re shy, playful, older, or need a little extra attention. I understand how important it is to be patient, consistent, and to follow instructions closely so pets feel secure in their environment. My goal is always to show up calm, caring, and dependable, and to make sure every pet I look after feels safe and every owner feels at ease while they’re away. Caring for pets fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I enjoy building time into my schedule to walk, check on, and spend time with animals, and I’m flexible enough to adjust around each pet’s needs. I like being consistent, so pet care becomes a steady part of my week that I can commit to fully and responsibly. In a client’s home, I make it a priority to follow all instructions exactly as given so pets stay on their normal routine. I focus on keeping them comfortable with feeding, water, litter or walks, and giving them attention so they feel safe while their owner is away. I also make sure to respect the home and leave everything clean and organized. If pets are in my care at my home, I make sure they are in a calm, safe environment where they can relax, stay on their usual schedule, and feel comfortable and secure.
“Shawn was excellent at communicating throughout the day. She made sure my pup was hydrated and happy. He got lots of love and attention. She was also very flexible and accommodating.”

“Candi has been such a blessing to our family. She communicates before and after each walk, sends multiple pictures, and is very kind and reliable. She was open to helping train our 1yr old rescue dog and provides much feedback regarding their progress. We are comfortable with Candi driving our dog to the local walking trail since our neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks. Candi is an asset to Rover and I know our pup agrees.”

I have also taken care of dogs that followed strict diets and medication routines. Providing the care that your dog requires to keep them happy and healthy is my priority! Whether they prefer to take it easy and chill on the couch, or go on long walks and play fetch for hours, I will adapt and ensure your pup is happy. I am currently finishing up my master’s degree, and am doing my internship part time during the week. My schedule is flexible for the days that I provided availability, so I am happy to adapt to your needs! I am happy to follow the safety guidelines and routines that you have set for your pet. However, I have also watched pets without a fenced in yard that needed to be leashed when they go outside so I am happy to adapt and supervise your dog just as you would! If you prefer to crate your dog when they are indoors, I will happily do so as well so as to not impact your pet’s sense of normalcy and the rules they need to follow. If you prefer your dog to be alone on walks, I’d be happy to walk them in places where there are few other people or dogs around so that they feel safe.

“I couldn’t have asked for a better place for Frankie to be while we were away.A fenced in back yard where she could run and play with other dogs. The pictures they sent gave us a great feeling while we away and missing her.Our nephew just got a puppy and we told him we would highly recommend Ben and Sarah.”

“Cherylee took such great care of my young cat. She had awesome toys for him, kept him entertained and sent me photos and videos. I felt really good about leaving him in her care. I was nervous and worried about leaving him for the first time but all went purrfectly! I will definitely use Cherylee and Steven again!”

“Amanda, Thank you for taking care of our big pup, Roscoe!! He had a great stay and by the photos sent - he felt 100% at home. We will most definitely rebook the next time! Thanks!!! Sheila”

“I couldn’t have imagined a better first experience with in-house boarding. They were incredibly understanding of my dog’s needs, and Masha loved them from the very first meeting! They even went the extra mile to ensure she was eating well and gave her treats, which I truly appreciated. I would recommend them hands down to anyone—it was such a relief to know she was in such great hands.”
