“Candi has been such a blessing to our family. She communicates before and after each walk, sends multiple pictures, and is very kind and reliable. She was open to helping train our 1yr old rescue dog and provides much feedback regarding their progress. We are comfortable with Candi driving our dog to the local walking trail since our neighborhood doesn't have sidewalks. Candi is an asset to Rover and I know our pup agrees.”

About: BOOK 7 NIGHTS AND GET YOUR 8th NIGHT FREE!!! (On your first stay only) I WILL ONLY BE ACCEPTING DOGS 30lbs AND UNDER FOR THE SAFETY OF MY OWN SMALL PETS. (Although I will make larger size exceptions for elderly lazy pups ❤️) Hello and thanks for considering me for your pet sitter! Your pet will enjoy all the pleasures of home and more! We are a loving, pet friendly family that any pet would love to be part of (even if it's only for a short time). My name is Breanna and I have had animals my whole life and simply adore being around them. I enjoyed being with them so much that I opened my own grooming salon several years back and am still enjoying it today. I work from home so I am used to having my four legged visitors around very often. I thought that I could help my fluffy friends even more by letting them stay with me rather then those terrible kennels so they too could enjoy their vacations too! Your pets will be treated like part of the family and if you choose, I can offer grooming services as well. We are more then happy to take in older dogs as well as younger and they are always guaranteed a warm, soft place to sleep. Summer is no problem either as there is central air so your pet will be totally comfortable at all times. Does your dog need medications? If so no problem, just tell me what to do and your pet will be taken care of. We do have two young children so your dog must be ok with kids. We also have two small dogs who are very friendly so your dog must be ok with other pets as well. I am pet cpr and first aid certified through the Red Cross and also a certified pet groomer. If this sounds like a home you'd like to let your pets visit while you are away i would be more then happy to meet you and set up a meet and greet! I hope to hear from you! Note: At this time I’m unable to accommodate pitbulls and German shepherds. Sorry for any inconvenience! I’m a self employed, work from home mom so it’s very easy for me to care for your pets. I make my own schedule and absolutely love what I do. Having extra pups in the house is a huge bonus for me because I’m a huge animal person! I love taking the pups outside into the back yard or for a walk through the golf course we live on. I have two wonderful fur babies to keep your pets company. When inside your pets will enjoy a “part of the family” life style with lots of love, cuddles and lounging on the couch.
About: I've provided administration of medicine to cats as well as given fluids thru an IV and feedings thru a feeding tube. Would love to check on your pets or walk your dog! I'm working from home and am looking for part time jobs during the week or weekend. Would love to help out as needed whether it be vacations or one time visits. I will be providing service within your home and will not be boarding animals. I have a cat and she doesn't welcome other pets! I look forward to being available for your needs!
“Been meaning to write this review for awhile. Highly recommend Sarah. She was very professional, dependable, and easy to communicate with! She was always there when she said she would be, and our puppy really loved his walks with her. ❤️”

About: I’ve just recently moved back home from Scotland after being there for about 7 years. While there I did use rover as a part time job while finishing my Veterinary Medicine degree. I’m happy to announce I graduated in 2024 and have been a practicing vet since. I love learning from the pets I sit because every time personality is different and each experience can give me so much. I’m happy to cater to whatever you pet needs! I have a varying schedule throughout the week. I work most week days with various start times but most end times at 7.30pm. I’m happy to help owners organize with me what works best for them though! I do not take safety lightly and am happy to cater to whatever needs are required by the owner. I do have family pets at home who don’t like strangers so unfortunately I will not be allowing anyone to be boarded at my house.

Let's chat to set up a date and time that works best for you and your furry friends! Caring for pets in either my own or someone else's home involves several key practices: 1. Safety and Comfort: Ensuring the environment is safe and comfortable for the pet, with secure areas and appropriate amenities. 2. Routine Care: Providing regular feeding, watering, and bathroom breaks according to the pet's schedule and needs. 3. Exercise and Play: Engaging pets in physical activities and playtime to keep them active and entertained. 4. Medical Attention: Monitoring the pet's health, administering medications if needed, and being attentive to any signs of distress or illness. 5. Affection and Attention (My favorite!): Offering companionship, cuddles, and positive interaction to make the pet feel loved and cared for. 6. Communication: Keeping pet owners informed about their pet's well-being through updates and photos, ensuring transparency and peace of mind. By following these practices, I aim to provide a nurturing and secure environment that meets both the physical and emotional needs of the pets entrusted to my care.

I also have past experience owning larger and more demanding breeds, including Rottweilers, an English Bulldog, and a Black Russian Terrier, giving me a strong understanding of breed-specific behaviors and needs. From toy breeds to working dogs, kittens to senior cats, I tailor my care to fit each pet’s personality, health, and comfort level. Your pet will be in capable, caring hands. When I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat it with the same respect and attention I would want for my own. I know how important it is to feel confident that your pet and your space are in good hands. I make sure your pet feels safe, relaxed, and loved while sticking to their normal routines as much as possible. Whether it’s giving medications, keeping things tidy, or sending regular updates, I do everything I can to give you peace of mind while you’re away.
About: As a current Animal Science major at UMass Amherst and a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School’s Animal Science program, I have hands-on experience working with dogs in many different settings, including training, handling, daily care, and veterinary care. I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all ages, sizes, and temperaments, including energetic puppies and senior dogs who may need extra patience and attention. I understand animal behavior, how to prioritize safety, and I will always make sure pets feel comfortable, cared for, and loved. Whether your dog needs a long walk or simply companionship and affection, I will treat them with the best care possible! I'm currently working part-time while home from college, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to provide your dog with the attention, care, and exercise they deserve. During walks, I stay alert and am aware of my surroundings, including nearby animals or potential hazards, to ensure your dog remains safe at all times.
About: I’ve always had a deep love for animals, growing up with both dogs and cats as part of our family. My childhood was filled with the joy of caring for and playing with our pets, which helped me develop a strong understanding of their needs and behaviors. As an adult, I continue to nurture that love for animals. I regularly take care of my neighbor’s dog and cat whenever they go on vacation. Whether it’s feeding, walking, or just spending time with them, I make sure they’re comfortable and well taken care of while their owners are away. I have also previously house sat for friends while taking care of their two dogs for several years whenever they went away. I work from home several days a week and I am around on most weekends with my family. I'm able to accommodate morning, afternoon and evening requests. When I care for your pets in your home, I make sure to follow a routine that keeps them comfortable and stress-free. I’ll start by reviewing any specific instructions you have regarding feeding, walking, or other care needs, ensuring I follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. I always provide lots of attention and affection, while also respecting their space and personality. If your pet enjoys playtime, walks, or cuddles, I’ll be sure to spend quality time engaging with them. For dogs, I’ll take them on regular walks, provide playtime, and make sure they get enough exercise and mental stimulation. For cats, I’ll ensure they have their food, water, and litter taken care of, as well as spend time with them if they enjoy companionship. I’ll also keep an eye on their health, watching for any signs of stress or discomfort and acting quickly if needed. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities, and I’ll make sure to keep you updated with regular check-ins and photos, so you can rest easy knowing they’re in great hands.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
