I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

I currently care for my 13-year-old Shih Tzu, a 10-year-old Maltese, and three beloved cats—so I’m well-versed in senior pet care, daily routines, and multi-pet households. I also have past experience owning larger and more demanding breeds, including Rottweilers, an English Bulldog, and a Black Russian Terrier, giving me a strong understanding of breed-specific behaviors and needs.
