“Amanda was a great find for us to watch Harley! She sent pics throughout the day and was an excellent communicator. Harley was able to play with her dog ass well as another friendly dog in her fenced yard.”

About: My partner and I have been caring for animals from bunnies to horses for our entire lives. Friends and family have relied and continue to rely on us to walk, feed, and board their pets. We do this because we love the companionship pups! Pets will be carefully looked after by my partner and I. They’ll be preoccupied daily with loads of activities! Parents are welcome to pictures/videos while they’re away. Your pets will have access to food/water, furniture, toys, undivided attention and unconditional love! Our dogs start the day by zooming and playing in our fully fenced in yard. Throughout the day we practice commands and do various activities. Here, we love dog puzzles and mentally and physically stimulating activities! Our house is pet friendly with plenty of space to play inside or out, depending on the weather. We also have pets of our own, who are very high energy and playful! We prefer gradual introductions to keep everyone calm and safe so your dogs will not meet ours during initial meet and greets. They’ll likely only meet ours if they stay multiple times or for more than 3 days. Entering a new environment or being cared for by someone new can be stressful for pets so we pay close attention to how each pet responds and acts and make sure to cater according to their individual needs, giving them space or activities as needed. Your pet will be loved, safe, and well cared for while they are here!

“Highly recommend! Briana was fantastic at keeping me informed, sharing tips, and sent pictures of my pup throughout the day. It was comforting to know my dog was in such good hands.”

About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. I take pride in knowing I am knowledgeable and dependable; I’ve fulfilled duties as grand as farm/kennel sitting- (meticulous care; maintaining medicine and feed schedules, cleaning services, turn in and out, organization of multiple and large quantity of animals at a time) …. I’ve spent time with all different types of personalities of all different species; aggressive ankle biters to couch potato gentle giants. Over the past decade and a half I have enjoyed the company of horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, cattle, dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. I love animals and I love providing quality care. I am observant and trustworthy- feel free to ask me anything!! I would like to make this more than part time! I have a very flexible schedule as of lately with no obligations aside from being busy a few early mornings out of the week; as I do work on a farm still as needed. Shoot me a message and let’s talk scheduling! I have a private backyard, not fenced in but I am more than vigilant and always have time and patience for leash walks and hikes, and leashed/supervised backyard shenanigans. Whatever you and your animal are comfortable with; we will make it happen and I can accommodate accordingly.
“I always rebook with Blaine. He’s very nice, and super reliable! My dog Apollo tends to be anxious at times, but he’s always so comfortable with Blaine and his other dogs. He always sends updates, and is very flexible. 10/10 I will continue to rebook :)”

“Anely babysat our doggie, Dennis, while we were in town visiting my mom for Mother’s Day and couldn’t take him to brunch with us . 🤣 She was very accommodating and took great care of my nervous Mama’s boy—even sent me a picture to show that he was doing well. Highly recommend!”

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
“Another great few days with Ty! She communicates clearly, follows through on all logistics and timelines, and most importantly, cares for Dexter with kindness and diligence. He loves spending time with her!”

About: I’ve learned a lot from getting my rescue dog through the puppy stages. He is a gentle, happpy pitbull mix. With crate training, house training, and obedience training, I got a good look at how to work with puppies. Additionally, I grew up with a small poodle and used to watch chocolate labs in our home so I am used to different dynamics between dogs. At the end of my poodle’s life, I had a lot of experience in administering medications and caring for an old pup. I have experience working with dogs of all ages! I’m a teacher and have the summer off. I spend a lot of time outside and would love to walk your pup during the day, morning, or evening. My completely fenced in backyard has lots of space to roam and play! It is convenient to let the pups outside, knowing that they will be safe and contained to a fenced in space. We have trained our dog to use his crate for naps, play breaks, and for times he would otherwise be unsupervised. Our home has safety gates inside that we can use to block access of unsafe areas or items in the house.

“We were visiting Florida from NY and needed a dog sitter for half the day. My pup was well taken care of and Linda sent me lots of pictures. I would definitely use her again if I was in the area. Thank you, Linda!!!”

“As always Leanne and Michael do an amazing job with Teddy. We have nothing to worry about when we leave him with them. She takes care of him like she does her own Bailey!”

About: I have taken care of and have had my own pets for over 30 years. I have a fenced in backyard, along with trails in a wooded area on my property that make it a great adventure for all pets. I work part-time taking care of animals and I'm always available to give your animals the attention they deserve. I am available most days and for overnight care. “Our sweet deaf pup stayed with Annmarie for the day and she couldn't have been safer and happier. This was our first Rover experience, so there was a bit of anxiety dropping our puppy off at a stranger's house. However, Annmarie made us feel welcome through her ongoing communication before, during, and after the visit, and I felt a sense of relief knowing that our special needs dog was well cared for. I highly recommend this host for your doggy day care needs.”

“Kevin was wonderful with our two pups while we spent the day in the city. He sent plenty of updates that included videos and photos. Our pups were so happy with Kevin, can't recommend him enough.”

“Gilbert is the best Rover host I’ve had the pleasure of using to watch Leo. I was provided videos throughout the day and Leo played hard with Gilbert’s dog Moon all day. I couldn’t be happier and I’m going back tomorrow for one more day. Gilbert was also very flexible with my schedule as I hit a snag during my business in Providence.”

“Michelle took Ginger on a lot of walks and played with him everytime when we leave Ginger to her! Ginger is excited to see her and happy being with her!”
