We have a six-year-old Labrador retriever boy named "Bruno" whom we adore! He is neutered and is very friendly. We fully understand all the hard work, effort, and commitment which goes into raising our fur babies. I totally understand how much difficult it can be to be away from your pet. We will do our best to make your vacation stress free by giving regular updates on your pooch is doing. We both have our own full time jobs and I work from home. So, rest assured that your dog is never unattended for more than 2 hours except when we are at the gym or have some errands to run. We have a friendly dog of our own at home to keep your dog company 24/7. There is no fenced yard but we live in a beautiful community and we do long walks and park visits(when the weather permits).

Upon entering the fenced in area there is two gates for security and a large gate on the opposite end for quick access and safety. The large play area is often split into two when we have smaller dogs. Daily activities do not just include playing in the yard, your fur baby can expect to go on structured walks, and depending on the weather we even take them hiking! I also work one on one with the dogs as they particularly enjoy the mental stimulation when working on commands. We love strengthening your dogs rules and commands while they stay with us. About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. About: We first adopted a 12 year old dog from the shelter and at the age of 17, we had to put him down. It broke our hearts and decided to adopt others in his (Juno) memory. My husband and I have adopted 5 dogs since then and they are a great pack. We have a large yard and doggy door so they can come and go as they please. They go for walks and they're very well mannered, socialized dogs. I graduated from Animal Behavior College in May 2017 and train dogs as well and I'd be able to help with training if needed. We've been fostering dogs for over 5 years and love knowing we're helping them become socialized and able to find them forever homes.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.
