I currently work part-time as a licensed Esthetician . My two oldest children are off to college, and my youngest is a sophomore in high school so I have plenty of time to be home and care for your pets and love them as if they are my own. I have grown up with all kinds of pets from parakeets, to hamsters, Guinea pigs, cats and dogs. I love animals of all kinds! My yard is currently partially fenced, however, I live right on cranberry dogs, where I take my dogs on their daily walks. I have various sized crates in my house which I am happy to use if required/requested. If you prefer to have your dogs stay in your home, I have a strong attention to detail and follow all instructions very carefully.

About: I’ve had both dogs and cats all my life! Recently, I’ve been learning the ins and outs of training puppies, and the importance of it in their early development! Though most of my experience is around cat care, I’ve been learning a lot around feeding, potty training, and grooming dogs thanks to my partner’s golden retriever-lab mix. I’m wonderful at following directions, and really love the company dogs offer. As a college student that loves the help puppies give to my homework—I’d love the honor of watching your pup. I’m a university student, so I’m free most of the time for house sitting and taking care of pets! My schedule works perfectly with watching over and feeding any dogs or cats that may need some care, since I mainly have classes two days of week. Homework is also much better with company! My own cat, Raven, loves helping me out with schoolwork. I live in a dorm at the moment, so I can’t offer boarding, but it just makes me more happy to come to you! Growing up with both cats and dogs has taught me that all animals have boundaries. The best thing way to build a relationship with them is to respect that—cat, dog, or ferret, even. I want to ensure that they feel comfortable with me. It makes walking, playing, and feeding time run smoother!

About: I have always loved dogs and found myself wanting to be around them constantly. I have been taking care of dogs since I was young and still always offer to take in friends’ dogs because it is something I enjoy so much. I have a senior dog and have cared for puppies in the past. I am currently in school and working, but I find days where I am free and would love to give some pups the attention they deserve! I would love to board dogs and especially on weekends because I do not have much to do! I have a fenced in yard and plenty of toys from my poodle who is here most of the time. If your dog is not comfortable with other dogs, my poodle has no problem going to his grandparents house!

“We were lucky to have Lauren care for our family pup on many occasions! Particularly, while my mom was in and out of the hospital. Lauren came to take care of our Bruschi, sometimes overnight, and we were comforted knowing she was there. He always seemed to sense when something was wrong. Lauren’s calm, reassuring and confident demeanor allowed him to trust her, even with his anxious tendencies. “Carisa, being a good friend of mine, has always been my number one person to call for my pets needs. I have a young mini golden-doodle named Pickles who requires ALOT of attention. Carisa has always been there for me without a bat of an eye to provide some extra care for him. She’s gone out of her way to stop by and take him out on nights I work late. She helped with his training and learning how to walk on the leash like a good boy. On nice days she loves to take him to the park as she emphasized how important socialization is. Most importantly she’s helped me with his medical needs, she educate me on vaccines and preventatives, she’s endlessly giving me advice and counseling me on how to be the best dog owner I possibly can. She’s a naturally caring person and very compassionate about proper pet care. Plus she cuts Mr. Pickles nails, which I’m terrified to do! I would recommend Carisa to anyone as I know any pet would be lucky to have Carisa in their life.”

“Shana, is my adoptive college daughter (we are really just great friends but she calls me mama :)) She has an absolute need to care for other beings and has a calming way about her to make all animals and people fall in love with her! Animals are drawn to her and trust her immediately! She has a way with doing all of this while being on time with appointments, making sure the animals are taken care of, and making sure they get the love they need while she watched over them. Love this woman and he love for animals!”

About: I have been a Dog mom for the last 15 years. My current dog is off leash trained and loves to do tricks. I enjoy walking dogs and just love all dogs all together. I’m very patient with pups that need extra care weather it be needing time to adjust to a new person or just want to spend extra time while I sit with them for a little longer company. I’m currently a restaurant worker and I work every weekend so weekends are unfortunately not in my availability. I have mom hours available on Monday Tuesday and Thursday (9-2:30) I would like to stay local to Taunton and can’t wait to work with you. We have a fenced in back yard for our pup. We often take her out on the town for walks though. I’m willing to walk your dog/s around your area or a local bike path. If your dog needs to be fed while I’m there that isn’t a problem either it just needs to be discussed before arrival. If you would like me to keep my pup at home i can or bring her along for some companionship. I’m looking forward to meeting with you and getting some much need doggie love.

“I am a veterinary technician and have known Katrina for many years, having met her when one of her pets became seriously ill and would require medical treatment on a daily basis for the rest of his life. The care he needed was advanced, and most people faced with this situation would have chosen to euthanize, fearing they wouldn't be able to dedicate the time, or acquire the skills needed to provide a good quality of life. Katrina on the other hand, not only rose to the occasion, but her excellent care allowed her boy live a GREAT life for much longer than any of us on his veterinary team would have predicted! She also had a cat who developed lymphoma and had to be fed through a feeding tube. Once again, Katrina jumped in head first to learn this process so that her cat could have a better quality of life. And once again, we were impressed by how well her pet thrived under her care! Not only is Katrina dedicated to the well being of animals, but she is honest, patient, compassionate and smart! I would trust her to care for my fur babies anytime, and there aren't many people I would say that about! Whether your pet is healthy or has special needs, I'm confident that they will benefit from having Katrina around while you're away.”
