About: Hi there! My name is Shane, and I’m based in Taunton, MA, providing pet care all across Massachusetts and RI. I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember, and over the years I’ve cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, rabbits, guinea pigs, rats, and even chinchillas. My background includes working as a playgroup supervisor at a doggy daycare outside Boston, as well as my former position at Providence Animal Rescue League as a communications coordinator and pet photographer (which means I’d be happy to capture some great photos of your pets, too!). In addition to my hands-on experience, I’m comfortable and experienced with administering medications — including to cats and dogs with special medical needs. I understand the importance of patience and precision when it comes to keeping pets healthy and happy. At home, I share life with my partner Anna (also an animal lover and caregiver), our diabetic cat Nestor, and our two leopard geckos, Meechee and Verne. I also help care for my family’s dog, Finn, whenever I can. Currently, I work mostly remotely, with occasional in office days. Whether it’s dog walking, drop-in visits, or pet sitting/boarding, I bring a mix of professional experience, personal passion, and a whole lot of care to every pet I meet. I’d love the chance to get to know you and your pets! I currently work a hybrid-remote job that is dominantly remote, with occasional in office days. Myself and my partner are a lovely tag team of caregivers when it comes to our cat and leopard geckos! When caring for pets in a client’s home, I make sure to follow their routine as closely as possible so your pets feel comfortable and secure. This includes feeding on schedule, refreshing water, walks or playtime, administering medication if needed, and of course lots of love and attention. I keep a close eye on their well-being, send updates and photos, and always leave your home just as I found it. To be able to stay in your home is a privilege in itself, so I thank you for the hospitality! When pets stay with me, I provide a safe and cozy environment, enrichment through play, and plenty of supervised attention. I believe in treating every animal as if they were my own — making sure they’re happy, healthy, and cared for in the way that suits them best.

About: I have been surrounded by all animal since I was very young. Dogs of all sizes and ages, cats, rodents, farm animals, reptiles, etc. I love learning more about animals and I appreciate the time I have with them. I respect animals and find it rewarding to work with them always. I am currently working part time and looking for a job that I enjoy to fill in the days. I have an open availability and am able to work weekends as well. In my home I have a fenced in yard, open areas in my house for my pets to roam. My dogs are fed on a schedule and let outside every 1 1/2 - 2 hrs, and go on walks in a sanctuary that is close by my house. My cat always has clean litter due to me cleaning it everyday, I also deep clean the litter box every week. My cat gets her water changed at lease 2-3 times a day and is fed on a time schedule.

About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. I take pride in knowing I am knowledgeable and dependable; I’ve fulfilled duties as grand as farm/kennel sitting- (meticulous care; maintaining medicine and feed schedules, cleaning services, turn in and out, organization of multiple and large quantity of animals at a time) …. I’ve spent time with all different types of personalities of all different species; aggressive ankle biters to couch potato gentle giants. Over the past decade and a half I have enjoyed the company of horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, cattle, dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. I love animals and I love providing quality care. I am observant and trustworthy- feel free to ask me anything!! I would like to make this more than part time! I have a very flexible schedule as of lately with no obligations aside from being busy a few early mornings out of the week; as I do work on a farm still as needed. I have a private backyard, not fenced in but I am more than vigilant and always have time and patience for leash walks and hikes, and leashed/supervised backyard shenanigans. About: I’ve worked with exotic as well as household pets! I love them all! I have worked with birds, cats, dogs, rabbits, lizards, and snakes. I am comfortable with most animals and am willing to work within your comfort zone to give your pet a happy life. I work M-F with a set schedule. I personally walk or hike my dog daily. I can take out, check on, walk, or potty your animals as needed. I’d love to take them on a hike, or do some training exercises together. Enriching their lives, and creating a bond is the overall goal. I greatly enjoy dog psychology. Understanding and reading a dogs body language has been an absolute game changer for the relationship and training for my dog when he was a puppy. Creating a trusting relationship first and foremost and working with the individual dog in front of me. I work with infants and toddlers, so education, body language, and milestones are my niche.
