“Great as always! Our dogs love Rebecca, and she spent a week watching them. We felt safe and secure that they were well taken care of. We will definitely re-book on our next trip.”

“My pups LOVED Meghan! She sent me updates and photos multiple times a day, was so communicative and I didn’t worry once that they weren’t being cared for while on my trip. As a neurotic dog mom booking her first time sitter, I couldn’t be happier that I found Meghan. Coming home to very happy, healthy dogs and a well cared for home was the best feeling ever! The dogs are already looking forward to my next trip!”

“Hannah did a fantastic job with our 2 dogs for a week-long stint. She sent lots of great pictures and notes and took great care of them. She is clearly responsible and on top of things and a good communicator. We will definitely book with her again!”

About: I’ve just recently moved back home from Scotland after being there for about 7 years. While there I did use rover as a part time job while finishing my Veterinary Medicine degree. I’m happy to announce I graduated in 2024 and have been a practicing vet since. I love learning from the pets I sit because every time personality is different and each experience can give me so much. I’m happy to cater to whatever you pet needs! I have a varying schedule throughout the week. I work most week days with various start times but most end times at 7.30pm. I’m happy to help owners organize with me what works best for them though! I do not take safety lightly and am happy to cater to whatever needs are required by the owner. I do have family pets at home who don’t like strangers so unfortunately I will not be allowing anyone to be boarded at my house.
“Duncan was super attentive and genuinely caring. He understood how to navigate the 3 very different personalities of our pups. Great communication and reliable. We look forward to having Duncan dog sit again.”

I got pictures and videos of the fun and love Molly and Marty recieved in my absence. This allowed me to enjoy my vacation. About: I have been taking care of animals big and small for as long as I can remember! When I was in my early teens I started pet sitting, and once I was 18 I began working on local horse farms; mucking stalls, and learning as much as I could along the way. I take pride in knowing I am knowledgeable and dependable; I’ve fulfilled duties as grand as farm/kennel sitting- (meticulous care; maintaining medicine and feed schedules, cleaning services, turn in and out, organization of multiple and large quantity of animals at a time) …. I’ve spent time with all different types of personalities of all different species; aggressive ankle biters to couch potato gentle giants. Over the past decade and a half I have enjoyed the company of horses, goats, chickens, rabbits, pigs, cattle, dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. I love animals and I love providing quality care. I am observant and trustworthy- feel free to ask me anything!! I would like to make this more than part time! I have a very flexible schedule as of lately with no obligations aside from being busy a few early mornings out of the week; as I do work on a farm still as needed. Shoot me a message and let’s talk scheduling! I have a private backyard, not fenced in but I am more than vigilant and always have time and patience for leash walks and hikes, and leashed/supervised backyard shenanigans. Whatever you and your animal are comfortable with; we will make it happen and I can accommodate accordingly.

Taunton pet parents share their Rover experiences
Julia was an incredible house sitter for our 3 critters at a short moment's notice for a five day stay. She's responsible, communicative and even helped me with a few things while I was gone (helping with the plumber and a FBMP sale). All of the animals seem healthy and happy and she left my house super neat and clean, just as I left it. Thanks for all your work, Julia!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about Rebecca! We recently got married and needed someone to care for our three dogs and cat for an entire wedding weekend. Since all of our family was attending the wedding—and it was three hours away—this was the first time we had ever trusted someone outside of family to care for our pets and our home. Needless to say, we were a little nervous. From our very first meeting, Rebecca immediately put us at ease. She asked thoughtful, detailed questions about each of our pets, their routines, personalities, and medical needs. Two of our dogs are elderly and require medication, so it was important to find someone we could trust. We were incredibly impressed by her knowledge and experience, and she even shared a few helpful tips and tricks for things like cat scratching and dog anxiety in the car that we hadn't considered before. Throughout the weekend, her updates and photos gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to fully enjoy our wedding without worrying about what was happening at home. It was clear that our pets were receiving not only excellent care, but also genuine attention and affection. To top it all off, we came home to a house that was cleaner than when we left it. Rebecca went above and beyond in every way, even washing linens and towels before leaving—something we never expected and greatly appreciated. It can be nerve-wracking to invite someone new into your home and trust them with the pets you love most, but Rebecca exceeded every expectation we had. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, knowledgeable, and compassionate pet sitter, and we look forward to using her services again in the future.
