About: I grew up with many dogs and cats, and am the go-to petsitter for my friends and family while they are away. I have experiencing petsitting homes with multiple pets with different routines/schedules (and four litter boxes!), as well as administering medication and caring for and walking elderly pets. As a graduate student, I have a flexible schedule throughout the day and week and am more than happy to workaround your pet care needs! I take your pet’s wellbeing, safety, and comfort very seriously and will care for them as if they were my own. I aim to provide your pet with a sense of routine and familiarity, as well as stimulation and play, while his or her parent is away. I do this by sticking as closely as possible to the rules/guidelines set by you and being attentive to each pet’s unique needs.

About: I had the enriching experience of living with a curious & stubborn miniature dachshund for 16 years - he was my “little brother”! As I matured I encouraged him to walk and was patient with interpreting his communication & his unique needs as he aged. I have also been able to visit with and care for a playful 3 year old chihuahua when I visit home in NJ. I am currently a graduate student in an occupational therapy doctorate program in Providence, RI. I am on my summer fieldwork which is full time in CT Monday - Thursday. Until August my Fridays are free, and I have minimal homework on weekends now so I am eager to get outside with some amazing dogs! I am not currently offering to bring your dog into my home for care. If I were to care for your dog in your home, I would abide by your ground rules and make sure we are in agreement before continuing.

About: I have had several years of experience with animals in the home from puppies & kittens to full grown animals. I have adopted rescues and am all about making them feel at home. I'm currently taking on new pets that need full time care. If you're a customer that needs Monday-Friday care for your pets, please feel free to reach out. Although I don’t provide pet care in my home, I am available for overnights at your home, walks in the neighborhood, trips to the park for hour long bookings or drop in visits. I provide care for cats & dogs.

About: Overview: I have always grown up with animals of all sorts, mainly small dogs, and now live with a cat and tortoise. I have experience with feeding, potty training, sleep training, trick training, caging, walking, bathing and grooming, cleaning up, playing, exercising, and loving each of my beloved pets. Each task is beyond worth it. If you have any questions or inquiries, please feel free to ask! My Fun Pet facts: - I have had a 14 year old Russian tortoise rescue, named crash, for 5 years now! It is named after the fact that he lives in a glass tank and sometimes forgets the glass is a wall. Also I set him free often to wander, and he's an adrenaline junky that loves to try to climb, drop, and crash into various objects and walls! - I raised salt water fish in my childhood home from lion fish to banana eels to pufferfish and idols and tangs! - My biggest dream is to have dog, cats, bunnies, ducks, and horses on my own homestead! pigs, goats, and any other animal would be fun too :) Experience (Personal, Pets, and Personality): Since moving to the city part time, my dogs and I have become very used to handling the hustle and bustle of the streets, especially Central Park. I volunteer at the Broome Animal Shelter to walk their dogs occasionally with friends. As a disabled person myself with pets who have had various issues throughout their and my life with some experience in basic healthcare, and lots of experience in first aid and crisis- any medical procedure needed to be done at home from syringes to needles to gauzes to bandaids, or even just hiding a pill in cheese- I am your guy! As a Filipino, I grew up with a very large family which includes having lots of animals around. But even in my own home, I grew up with a golden retriever, a havanese, and a poodle. Then two Havanese, and their cousin the Italian greyhound and.. another Havanese and... another poodle. I was the kid who memorized every dog breed, and wanted to visit the kennel and beg my parents for another dog. Our house was known as the place to house sit if a loved one was to go on vacation or anything. As an adult, I have lived with a cat each year that I could. Though these pets were pretty small in breed, it's actually my dream to get a dane or a similar sized and mannered big friendly giant. I spent a lot of my time at shelters, in nature camp, and at the nature center when I was a kid keeping all the animals safe. I have been that friend who pets immediately bond with when visiting someone's place for the first time. I was even such a frequent guest at the nature center, I even named one of the corn snakes "Bracelet" since she would hang around my wrist as I went to walk around the Greenberg Nature Center to greet, feed, clean, and care for the other reptiles. I have been an honorary member of the staff since I was 5 years old! I am a full time graduate student now working in Providence for 2 months. Since my work can be flexible and I'm located in the heart of the city, I can be available anytime! I have 5 repeat dog clients right now, and live with a cat and tortoise right now so I'm always surrounded by pets and happy to meet more. I will return to Binghamton August 2, and will be open again for house sitting then. When I am home in New York, I am available full weekends and holidays. I will be curious and courteous about whatever tailored needs your pet has so I can best respect and take care of your pet. For dogs- On walks, I don't just walk alongside a dog but I pay attention to their body, queues, and interests. During house visits, I'd love to keep them engaged by playing with them, keeping them active, and of course letting them rest. I am extremely well organized and I would ensure they get fed and taken out at requested times. For cats- I would make sure that they get what they need and want. From alone time to pets to cuddles to carrying. I would be on time with food, medicine, or any other duties. I would keep a good eye on your cat and ensure they get into minimal trouble, while also letting them roam and explore. For any other animals- I would just be honored to hangout with your pet, as an exotic pet owner myself. I would ensure I am well educated in the handling and care of your animal!

About: I have owned and cared for dogs for over 14 years. I am passionate about animals and want to provide the best love and care for your furry friend. I love taking your dog on walks, playing with their favorite toys, making sure they receive the proper meals, and am comfortable giving medication when needed. I have worked in the healthcare field for 4 years so I feel comfortable following care plans and specific diets. I have experience dog sitting young and old dogs and have dog sat for weeks in a row. I am available 24/7 by text, call or email. I do not mind going on long walks or spending extra time playing with your dog to give them the proper exercise needed to keep them happy! Since I work at a school I often have more flexibility around school breaks. Afternoons/evenings are my most open times. About: I've been a part of animal welfare for the 15 years. I've been a vet tech for 13 of those years. I am CPR certified and I'm able to administer medications as well as deal with unruly dogs/cats. I like to think that I have a better understanding of dog/cat behavior which helps me better take care of them. I work full time at an animal hospital, my hours vary but we can discuss them at bookings. I would like to build relationships and continue long term care with pets I'm flexible with needs. I don't have a fenced in yard but that makes it so your dog will be walked daily with one on one care and not just put out in a yard.

“Kayla accommodated me for a last minute holiday visit and walk with my dog on Thanksgiving, which I am so grateful for! A last minute change in our plans meant he’d be home alone. She came over for a meet and greet two days before and asked a lot of important questions. She was good with Oso and kind about his need to be heard (aka lots of demand barking). He is not yet two and she understands puppies. She was easy to communicate with and I’d recommend her to care for your dog anytime.”
