I am a recent college grad, working hard every day to save money and find a career! I work about 30 hours a week serving at a local restaurant so I typically can’t spend a whole day with the pets but my shifts aren’t too long. Send me a message and I’ll let you know what I can do!

In the clients home I find it helpful to have a note for reminders, and to be familiar with the door lock and any security systems so I don’t set off any alarms! I follow any guidance left by the client to provide the safest care for their pet possible (ie- using a leash in the back yard, or a harness on walks, avoiding other dogs etc)

I definitely like to ask about the dogs diet, any training I’m supposed to follow, if they are dog reactive or food protective. I am here to serve your pet and want to know as much as I can to make it a great experience for both of us!
A typical day
Happy dogs really make me happy so we will first and foremost follow any training rules that are put in place (ie: sitting before eating, no jumping etc.) but I will definitely be rolling around on the ground with them, running around, playing with toys, and giving treats as allowed. Local parks and trails are fun and I like to do arts and crafts too! If the pet can, we can go on field trips to the beach or pet friendly stores or through the drive through.

Hi there! My name is Anders, I’m 24 but my pet care experience starts as a child. I grew up caring for our families cats and for neighbors when they went away. For the last two years I have been pet sitting quite a bit while also serving at a local restaurant. I have two cats of my own: Nico and Ryder, and a crested gecko named Jasper. I love them all so so much. In the past I have worked at a pet store and have gained extensive knowledge about pets and pet products. I love to take photos of pets and occasionally do arts and crafts with them too. I love to take dogs to the park or on wooded trails, or even the beach or the drive thru! (With parents permission of course). I am comfortable staying at your house and can occasionally welcome pets into my house as well. I hope you’ll consider hiring me to care for your fur babies. When you and your pet meet me you’ll be able to see the love I have for animals right away.

Anders has cared for my Sophie twice now and they will be my first choice next time I need a sitter! They are a fantastic human with a special connection with animals.
