About: Ive been taking care of my own pets as long as Ive been able, and began pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for others in high school during 2022. I have experience with cats and dogs of varying ages (puppies/kittens-elderly pets) and needs (illnesses and disabilities), as well as more exotic pets like lizards, birds, rodents, and aquatic animals like fish, turtles, and axolotls. I’ve administered medications for dogs, but do not have experience with needles. I’ve spent up to a week taking care of several animals at a time, as well as short periods like nights and checking in daily. I will do all I can to provide your pet and home with the care they need! I’m currently in college, but primarily online, so my school schedule is flexible with your needs! I am not working outside of pet care so I am not tied down to other responsibilities and provide the time needed to care for your pets. I’ve lived with pets my whole life, so I understand that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. When caring for pets in their own home, I’ll follow their usual schedule as closely as possible, including feeding, walks, playtime, bathroom breaks, and lots of attention. I’m comfortable paying attention to a pet’s behavior and making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and secure. I’ll also treat your home with respect, double-check doors and gates, and follow any specific instructions you leave. About: I’ve been caring for animals my entire life and truly can’t imagine life without pets. I worked at a veterinary clinic in high school, where I gained hands-on experience with basic animal care, handling, and recognizing when a pet may need extra attention. For the past 8 years, I’ve consistently pet sat for friends, family, and clients, caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, ages, and needs. Guest dogs join my daily rhythm naturally, with consistent feeding times, multiple walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day In my home, I host one guest at a time in a calm, quiet space with supervised indoor time and secure, leashed walks. In your home, I follow your routines, feeding times, medications, and house rules. I always start with a meet and greet, keep dogs leashed or secured at all times, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: I have always loved dogs and am passionate about pet care. About: I love pets. In my experience, pets our part of family and I will treat them as such. I have care for pets for over 30 years and am able to handle 5-8 dogs. I do pet care full-time. I am always home watching the dogs and cats, making sure they are safe. Pets will never be home alone and we follow strict food or medicine schedules if necessary. Pets are always being watched. They will never be left home alone when boarding. We have a fully gated yard that is impossible for dogs to escape.

About: Retired military medic used to have and to help friends and battle buddies when their animals had to go when they had to go overseas or on TDY work trips and things like that also help friends and things too. I am very by the book so if you leave me a list of rules and what needs to happen I'll make sure it gets done. I have a very open schedule. I work from home so if you need me at any point in time I can make it fit within my schedule. For the safety of your pets and things, I usually like to do a quick visit to make sure that we're going to get along. I know if it is a cat that a lot of times trust needs to be earned with them and that you can't just pull them out from wherever they're hiding a lot of times it's earning their trust for them to be come out and be friendly. You do not force it on them.

About: My name is Sarah and I'm 33 years old. I took a little stint from Rover to focus on my professional career but I'm back and so excited to start petsitting again! Animals have been a huge part of my life ever since I was young. I worked at a vet throughout high school and even started my own dog sitting company in Charleston, SC upon graduation from Virginia Tech - safe to say, I've always been obsessed with animals. I have experience with dogs and cats of all kinds and ages, including puppies, kittens, elderly dogs and cats, dogs those with disabilities, cats that require medication, etc. You name it, I've probably had to handle it in all my years of pet care. I love taking dogs on adventures - the beach, hiking trails, etc. I will treat your fur babies like my own and give them the exercise and TLC they deserve while you are away! In my client's homes, I always let them take the lead with their comfortability and with their pet's normal routine. I want to make sure your pet hardly notices you are gone and that they are 100% comfortable and happy with someone in their environment. Whether that means crating them, walking them at specific times, having designated playtime. Again, I let the client take the lead on instructing me in those cases. When I bring a pet into my home, it's important that they get along with cats, as I have two who are very friendly and don't interact too much with my/client's dogs. Currently my Husky is staying with my mom in Virginia, so he will not be in the apartment. I want my space to feel as "homey" to them as possible, so whatever is needed to make that happen, I accommodate.
