“Marie and her husband were wonderful! Great communication throughout. My dog is 84 pounds and young so he does pull on walks at the beginning. They handled him amazingly. Got him some exercise when I cant right now. Even recharged his night light. I would absolutely book Marie again”

About: I’ve had a dog of my own for a while and also have taken care of my neighbors pets for long periods of time! From walks, baths, feeding and playtime, I’m experienced in taking care and having fun with dogs of all ages. My dog in particular was a senior and she dealt with arthritis and liver disease, which would limit her ability to do certain things like long walks and going upstairs, or even eating. I do have the experience of taking care of senior dogs that may need this special treatment. I also walked King (pictured) as a volunteer for PAWS NY. This organization has volunteers who walk and/or take care of pets for those who are unable to do so themselves. My job is remote, so I can work from anywhere. My hours are also very flexible, so I am able to work around your schedule! I am also available anytime on the weekends! My area is safe and very pet friendly. The neighborhood is very residential, and there are a few parks nearby. There is also plenty of accessibility and perfect for pets!
About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages- from birth to little old pups and I am here to help where I can. I am a huge pet lover and have always helped family and friends take care of their pets when needed. Extra Note: I have taken care of and owned many types of pets- cats, goats, chickens, reptiles, ferrets and more! I am a college student with weird hours and time to spare! In the summer I am available most of the time with really no time constraints. The school year is trickier but I am still able to help when needed and ready to! However you care for your furbabies I will do the same! Just tell me what they love and don't love and we will work together. I want your pet to be comfortable with me as much as you are with me caring for them!
About: I’m a former CNA who was known for being caring, attentive, and dependable. Helping others has always been a part of who I am, and now I’m bringing that same energy to something I’ve loved my whole life—working with animals. This isn’t just a side job for me—it’s the beginning of my own pet care business and a step toward my dream of becoming a veterinarian. I take pride in creating a safe, loving environment where dogs feel at home. Every pup I care for is treated like family, because this work truly matters to me. I also have two dogs of my own who prefer their own space, so they’re kept in a completely separate area of the home during guest stays. Visiting dogs have their own comfortable space to relax, play, and get plenty of one-on-one attention—without ever interacting with my personal dogs. Safety, comfort, and peace of mind are always my top priorities. Pet care is the heart of my daily routine. I’m home full-time, so my days revolve around the dogs in my care—making sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. From morning potty breaks and playtime to cozy evenings and routine check-ins, I structure my day around their needs. This isn’t just part of my week—it is my week, and I love every minute of it. When pets stay in my home, they’re treated like part of the family. I provide a calm, clean, and loving environment where they can relax, play, and feel safe. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible—whether that means feeding schedules, walks, or cuddle time. I keep things low-stress and personal, always making sure they feel comfortable and cared for every step of the way. Each fur baby will be leashed for walks, potty breaks, and can be crated if the owner is okay with that and only if necessary. I prefer the dogs in my care to have space to roam.
About: Hi there! I’m a lifelong dog lover with a special place in my heart (and home) for furry friends. I’ve raised and trained dogs, including German Shepherds, and since moving from Boston to RI two years ago, I’ve loved turning my cozy, dog-friendly home into a little retreat for pups. We’ve got an acre of land to explore, and every day starts with a peaceful walk through our sunny neighborhood. Whether your pup is here for the day or staying overnight, they’ll get lots of attention, playtime, and love—just like they would at home. I offer: • Boarding in my home • Doggy daycare • Dog walking • Drop-in visits I’m reliable, warm, and totally dog-obsessed—every dog I meet becomes part of the pack. I’d love to care for yours next! Feel free to reach out with any questions—I can’t wait to meet you and your pup! 🐾💛 I work remotely 4 days a week week. I often adventure locally with my husband in tow on the weekends hiking, doing outdoor activities, very dog friendly :) I live on a quiet road across from an apple orchard, not close to any type of traffic. I have about a half acre green backyard for dogs to run in with my supervision
About: I have been volunteering with animal rescues since I was in high school along with dogwalking in my hometown. I have spent the past three years in college volunteering with the local animal shelter walking their dogs to relieve them of time in the shelter. On these walks I take the time to work on basic skills and socialization. I am completing my MBA this summer, and would love to help you out with any of your pet care needs! I am finishing up my MBA at Bryant University leaving me with an open availability days outside of my classes which are Mondays and Wednesdays. I have previously handled multiple different dogs in different situations. I always aim to make the animal feel the most comfortable in every situation. I plan to care for your pets on your own terms whether that be in your own backyard or on walks near your house.
“Amanda went above and beyond on this very hot day and made sure the AC was blasting and my pups had extra water. So grateful to know she has my pups’ backs while I’m away at work! Highly recommend Amanda as a trustworthy dog sitter.”
About: Growing up I always had a dog or two. I've been working at a dog daycare facility professionally for 7 years. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. Since the facility is cage-free, I dedicate myself to ensuring the dogs have fun, are safe, and love in our care. Currently, I have two medium and large dogs who constantly love to play, whether it is water play in the backyard, going on walks, frisbee, or working with me at Daycare! I'm not in school yet, so I have time to give your furry babies a good exercise, taking a walk, pet sitting, or stop by your place to ensure your pups receive the best quality care and bring you peace of mind. My two dogs are very friendly and social with other dogs. I have a two-level yard, a six-foot fence all around the yard, and a door your pups can easily access to potty or play. I can also provide in-house food unless your pups have allergies and need to improvise. My house is cage free but if you’d like your pet to be crate I can improvise that.
About: I grew up with a sweet Golden Retriever, Jake, who taught me a lot about pet care. I walked, fed, and got to know his unique personality. As he got older and developed mobility issues and glaucoma, I made sure he stayed comfortable, loved, and happy. Later, we added a sassy Poochan puppy, Blake, to the family (I picked him up from out of town!), and I helped raise him, taught him tricks, and helped him bond with our senior dog. I've also noticed when dogs weren’t feeling right, once I suggested allergies, and I was right, and we got him treatment! I've pet sat and walked dogs for others too. I love all kinds of animals and pride myself on being patient, observant, and understanding of every pet’s individual needs. Pet care for me is a natural and fulfilling part of my daily life. I find joy in spending time with animals, and making sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for. Each day starts with caring for the pets I'm responsible for: morning walks, fresh food and water, and a little play or cuddle time. Throughout the day, I build my schedule around each pet’s routine, whether that’s a midday walk, medication, or just some one-on-one attention to keep them happy and comfortable. On a weekly basis, I like to check in on things like cleanliness, grooming, and overall health, making sure litter boxes or food bowls are fresh, fur is brushed if needed, and every pet is thriving. I take my time to really get to know each animal’s personality, quirks, and comfort zones so they feel understood and cared for while their family is away. I always prioritize safety, comfort, and trust for all animals. I understand how important it is to keep their environment calm, secure, and familiar. In your home, I follow your routines closely to keep things consistent and stress-free for you and your pet. I pay close attention to any instructions regarding food, exercise, medications, and behavior quirks. I also make sure your home is respected and cared for while you're away. If I’m welcoming pets into my own home, I create a clean, cozy, and pet-friendly space. I remove anything that could be unsafe or tempting to chew, and I make sure pets have their own space to relax, eat, and play. I supervise all interactions and tailor the environment based on the pet’s needs, whether they’re energetic and playful or more shy and relaxed. Trust is everything in this job. I communicate openly and often with updates, photos, and check-ins so you feel confident and reassured while you're away. Your pet's safety, happiness, and wellbeing are always my top priorities.
“Jessica has been great with my dog. She’s consistent with the time she comes by to walk him & lets me know if there will be any deviations to time or her availability. My dog loves her! Would highly recommend!”

“Caprice was very responsive and handled the pups very well. The pups took a shine to her right away and she was very thorough with the instructions that I gave her! Definitely going to have her walk the pups again!”

“Sarah is great! Very personable, easy to work with, flexible and nice. My dog Henrietta loves her!! You can tell she cares about animals and does a great job. So happy we have her for our reoccurring walks!”

About: Hello! My name is Valeria & I am a college student at RIC. I have been pet-sitting since I was 15 years old. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish & bunnies. My college classes will end in May so I will have plenty of free time! I currently have a part-time job that I may be leaving soon. I always ensure that leashes are not too long so dogs do not wander off. I take dogs out for potty breaks depending on the schedule you provide.
“Eden has been walking my Finn now for two weeks (as I’m recovering from surgery). She has been wonderful - reliable, upbeat, and obviously great with dogs. I highly recommend Eden and look forward to being a “repeat customer”. Thank you Eden!”

About: I have been raising my corgi since he was about five months old (he is over 5 now). My passion and love for dogs has quickly grown in the few years i’ve become a dog owner myself. Boba gets along with most other dogs but if you just need my services as a walker they won’t be meeting! I helped take care of my partners elder dog and new puppy after the loss of their elderly dog. I have taken a group training class with both a puppy and adult dog, and will be continuing my dogs training with a professional so we can both continue to learn more. I am self employed and freelancer, but mostly from home. I am able to fit consistent dog walking into my schedule for local clients as well as offer scheduled and committed boarding services where I would be home most of the time. I have a fenced in yard and live in a neighborhood that is safe with a small park within walking distance. I have plenty of space to separate our dogs if necessary as well as an extra large crate.

Kendyl has been fantastic and patient with my little guy. I knew he needed a crate-break and after being waitlisted for every doggie daycare, I turned to Rover. Kendyl was in my area and we did a meet and greet. Very professional and communicative. I’d highly recommend her. Louie seems to love her!
