Our sweet pup had so much fun with Marie and her husband for the days we booked. So much more joy and excitement we haven't seen in her in the mornings getting ready to go for the day to her new friend's house and more still when she was ready to come home. Will only trust this couple with our baby.

We’ve had a great experience with Trish. Gizmo is still new to us and can be sensitive with transitions, and she has been incredibly patient, calm, and accommodating from the start. He settles while he’s there (even if he hasn’t slept yet), and it’s clear he feels safe and well cared for. She’s kind, attentive, and truly understands dogs who need a little extra gentleness. I’m so grateful to have found someone I trust and feel comfortable leaving him with. Highly recommend!

Very welcoming host, nice big backyard, kept us updated with numerous photos. Wasn't sure our dog would line being around other dogs but it worked out well.

About: Hello my name is Mary-Ann, I live in a single family home with a fully fenced in yard in Cherry Hill Estates in Johnston, RI. I don't leave dogs outside unattended. I’ve been blessed to have dogs for my whole life. I would love to open our home and couch to your fur baby in need of a safe, loving and caring environment. I currently have a fur baby named Buddy who is a Senior Bichon Shih Tzu mix who absolutely loves other dogs. He is very friendly and up to date on all his shots. My husband works from home full-time and I work from home 3 days a week. So, your fur baby won’t be alone. I know Buddy doesn’t like to be alone. I live in a quiet walkable neighborhood which allows us to take leisurely walks and a big fully fenced in back yard. I also have a dog door that leads out into a fully enclosed Dog Pen to access anytime for the potty. Pets are part of our families, and I know it’s important to make them feel comfortable and keep them safe at all times which will give you peace of mind while you are away. Winston usually barks at new people he meets, but barely barked when he first met Misael and then was obviously very comfortable with him quickly. I received several photos and updates on what they were doing and Winston was exhausted and happy when we picked him up. Planning on booking another stay in the future!

Qualynda was amazing with our puppy. She watched her for us on very short notice and went above and beyond to care for her and keep us informed. Our girl is pretty timid and was scared at first but warmed up quickly and had a great time. She especially loved running around the big backyard! We will definitely use Qualynda again!

About: I always am the “dog person” in the family and friend group. To Training tips, to being the go-to for dog sitting, bathing, and routines! I work a full time job 7am-330pm, also a small part time job at a Deli. Would like to switch up the part time job from deli to pets! I don’t have a yard of my own, but i do take my Shepherd to the dog park, and or a field close by. I am very good with cages, and respect approachable behavior with a new dog.

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

Sonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!

About: I am a lifelong dog parent with two wonderful rescues. I have learned first aid training, medication administration and canine behavior. Exercise and stimulation are important to ensure dogs do not become bored and destructive or depressed. No two dogs are the same. One of my dogs loves to run while the other loves to swim! What one enjoys, another may not so I need to understand how your dog plays. I look forward to caring for your dog!

About: Growing up I always had a dog or two. I've been working at a dog daycare facility professionally for 8 years. During my time there, I've taken care of various puppies to their adulthood and senior dogs. Since the facility is cage-free, I dedicate myself to ensuring the dogs have fun, are safe, and love in our care. Currently, I have two medium and large dogs who constantly love to play, whether it is water play in the backyard, going on walks, frisbee or just relaxing in our backyard! I'm currently a college student on summer break, which gives me plenty of time to provide attentive care for your pets. I only work part-time for a few hours a day, so your pet will receive lots of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and companionship throughout their stay. I also work part-time at a dog daycare facility, giving me experience with dogs of different sizes, personalities, and play styles. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. My two dogs are very friendly and social with other dogs. I have a two-level yard, a six-foot fence all around the yard, and a door your pups can easily access to potty or play. I can also provide in-house food unless your pups have allergies and need to improvise. My house is cage free but if you’d like your pet to be crate I can improvise that.

FAQs for Doggy Day Care - Greenville

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for Doggy Day Care in Greenville on Rover is $38.85 per day (as of July 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of July 2026, there are 840 sitters on Rover offering Doggy Day Care across Greenville. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Greenville commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:

  • For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
  • For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
  • For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.

Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 840 sitters in Greenville, 86% respond to messages in under an hour.

You can message multiple sitters simultaneously to find the fastest available match. If you need care today or tomorrow, you can look for sitters with a "calendar last updated" notice on their profiles.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
