About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.

About: With 15 years of experience, I provide reliable, compassionate pet care including walks, boarding, behavior modification, puppy training, senior care, medication administration, and personalized attention. My flexible schedule allows availability mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, holidays, and last-minute requests, ensuring dependable care whenever you and your pets need me most consistently. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my highest priorities. I provide a safe, trustworthy, clean, low-stress environment where every pet feels loved, secure, always.
About: I worked at a doggy daycare in college where I was responsible for taking care of upwards of 12 dogs. I adopted my dog 4 years ago and he's become a part of the family. I've taken care of him as well as friends dogs (including puppies) when they are away. However you choose to take care of your dog is how I will take care of them. I'm currently working part time, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! I'm available every day and night of the week. I follow all of the instructions given to me by the owner to make sure the pet is taken care of, comfortable with a stranger, and loved.

About: As a pet owner myself, I value honest and reliable care, not only for owners, but the animals themselves. I have experience providing care for a diverse set of pets, including dogs, cats, birds, and other small animals. I aim to build trust with those for whom I provide care. I am comfortable with administering medication and attending to specific needs. Most importantly, I treat others pets with the same love and attentiveness as I do my own. I work full-time during the week, though I have more flexibility on Tuesdays and Thursdays when I work from home. I am available for drop-in visits any day of the week. I work with my clients to meet their needs and go out of my way to do so. When providing care in an owner’s home, I aim to leave pets and the home in a state that the owner would be happy to return to. I respect the boundaries of owners and pets alike so that I can build a relationship of trust, communication, and reliability. I hope to show my dedication to proper pet care through my actions.

“Caprice took care of my cat like her own, spent lot od time with him, played with him, and did anything she could to make our time apart more comfortable for him.”

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was 10 years old. My parents have had dogs all of their life and growing up I was taught how to take care of them on my own. I will make sure your pup feels safe, and loved while you are away. I work fully remote Monday- Friday and work a side job on Monday night and Wednesday night. I can work from your house and take care of the pets as long as there is WiFi! I currently live in an apartment with my partner with our dog and cat. I usually will walk our dog around the block. He is a little shy with other dogs so I would just come over to your house and walk your dog then!
About: I grew up in a household of animal lovers so I am comfortable and confident in caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and breeds. I began pet sitting for family and friends as a way to help out and realized that I have a passion for meeting new animals. Since I first began pet sitting 5 years ago I have developed a wide skill set for animal care, and have formed relationships with many repeat families. I love all of the new furry friends I have made over the years. Fortunately, I work a job in which I create my own hours so I am available to work around your schedule! I am available all days of the week to take care of your pets. Due to my apartment rules, I cannot take animals in but I know some animals are more comfortable in their own homes so I am more than willing to stay there to take care of the babies! (Or just pop in and out for walks) I am here for you and your pets so I will be around for whatever they need.
“Honestly Heidi was the best Rover sitter we have had. She was responsive, loving to the pets, followed our instructions and truly did what she said what she'd do. She kept us in great contact with our pets through pix and reports continuously. She took care of them when I was at a funeral and mostly out of touch. Her proactive reports gave me nothing but a carefree day which I really needed. I would highly recommend Heidi!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. I am currently working a part time job and I’m about to leave for college and need some extra hours. I don’t mind if it’s miles or just down the street. I personally don’t care if I have to go in someone’s house just want their stuff to be out so I don’t have to go through there stuff.
About: Hello! My name is Valeria & I am a 19 yr old college student at RIC. I have been pet-sitting since I was 15 years old. I have experience with cats, dogs, fish & bunnies. My college classes are in the day time from Monday through Thursday starting the end of August with gaps in between classes so I can do drop by visits & evening pet sitting care. I always ensure that leashes are not too long so dogs do not wander off. I take dogs out for potty breaks according to the schedule you provide or as needed.
“Another wonderful sit with Meira! She’s so great about detailed updates and so many photos and videos. Deedles loves her - even I can’t touch the belly, but Meira is allowed!”

About: I personally have 2 dogs and a cat and experience with all sizes and temperaments. I am going into my senior year at Bryant! Also I recently completed a half marathon and am looking to keep up the outdoor walking and running maybe with some buddies! I’m free after I am free every afternoons and most mornings, very flexible schedule inbetween my college classes! I miss my pets when I’m away at school! I don’t intend to have pets at my home, so I’m not quite sure what to say here, I still being in college live with my family and stay ever moving.
“I connected last minute with a Gary after my scheduled petsitter cancelled the day before my vacation. It worked out great. Gary was engaged and provided pictures each day. He took great care of my cats and definitely won them over. I would not hesitate to recommend Gary as well as use his petsitting service again in the future. Thanks Gary!!!”
“Grace was great with our dog, Daisy! She was well-cared for and very happy when we got home! Grace sent pictures, walked Daisy, and made sure that she was content and comfortable while we were away. Prior to our departure Grace came over for a meet and greet, and her interactions w Daisy made us feel at ease with leaving our little fur-baby with her. Would definitely hire Grace again to watch Daisy!”

“Emily did a wonderful job with our cat, while we were away. Our car seemed happy and comfortable when we came back. We appreciate that she took time to play and bond with our cat We look forward to having Emily look after her again in the future.”

“First time using this app!! Latifa was fantastic, I felt at ease knowing that my cats were taken care . I was given daily check ups and pics. I would highly recommend using Rover & LATIFA A.”

About: Growing up I always had animals in the house, dogs especially. I would walk, bathe, feed, and take care of them so I am sure to take great care of your pets My availabily is very open and I welcome same day bookings. I ask for at least a few hours of a notice to ensure that your pet receives the best level of care available. As we know, life can change in a second, so same day cancelations are accepted. Having grown up around animals I have grown accustomed to understanding behaviors and tendencies. A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
