“Meira was a wonderful sitter! She sent tons of videos and photos during each visit and was very attentive to my cat’s needs. My cat is usually slow to warm up, but Meira was able to pet her and play with her every time. She’s very professional. I would highly recommend her.”

About: The experiences I have is with my own lovable lab mix fur baby who is 8 years old. As well as with the fur babies of my family and friends. Looking forward to meeting others and treating them like my own! I am looking for part time work as I do have a full time job with a notating schedule. Although I have full time job, I am looking for something to do part time that I enjoy and love doing. I do have a rotating schedule that will vary week to week but will always be reliable when committing to a request. Availability: Will vary because of my rotating schedule but my days will be open on my days off. Please contact for more info. I am looking forward to giving your pet the attention and love they need by going for a walks, petting and playing with them and popping in for a visit to feed them.
“Jessica was fantastic with Lucky! From the moment he saw her at the meet and greet, they immediately clicked. I hired her to come twice a day and she always went above and beyond sending photos of Lucky throughout her visits. He always looked like he was having a great time while she was over. She took him on walks, played with him, and really kept him engaged. I'm always sad when I leave Lucky for a few days, but having Jessica there to keep him company eased my nervousness completely. Would have her watch him again in a heartbeat.”

About: I’ve grown up around animals my whole life, including cats, dogs, reptiles, etc, so caring for them has always come naturally to me. I have hands-on experience feeding, medicating, and handling pets with different temperaments. I also previously worked at an animal hospital, where I cared for animals daily and learned how to safely handle both friendly and more aggressive cats and dogs. I’m very comfortable around animals and always focus on making them feel safe and cared for. I currently work as a server, which keeps my schedule flexible, and I mostly work nights. I can easily adjust my availability if needed too! I can offer plenty of exercise and playtime. Follow a regular feeding and watering schedule. Clean litter boxes and or accidents in the house. Monitor for any signs of illness or injuries. Offer plenty of love and attention!
About: I’m very adaptive to your pup’s lifestyle; I love hiking, exploring nature and playing with all breeds of dogs. I’m very warm and welcoming, so your furry friend is welcome in all parts of the house—especially on the couch for snuggles! I am also very attentive, and want to make certain that all of your dog’s needs are met (sufficient food/water, outdoor time/playtime etc). I have senior dog and puppy experience, and don’t mind putting down pads if need be. I grew up with dogs and enjoy their companionship—I will ensure they are in a safe environment and trusting hands. Please feel free to provide any of your pet’s special attachments (i.e. toys, food, bed, sweater, leash, treats, etc). I want to guarantee that they are as comfortable as possible during their stay! I am a photographer and brand advocate with Counter, so I have the flexibility to create my own schedule and focus on your pet when I’m with them. My partner Phil is very helpful and equally a dog lover. If you are comfortable, you can also meet him to assure your dog will be safe, and well taken care of during their stay with us. My partner and I live in a pet friendly two family on the first floor, with a half fenced in backyard. We are right down the street from Roger Williams Park—perfect for longer walks/hikes if your dog is able.
“Liana was an excellent caretaker. She immediately achieved my cat's trust and sent wonderful photos. Both cat and house were in excellent shape when I returned. I recommend her highly.”

“Aidan was super communicative and kind. We didn't have time to do a meet and greet beforehand because of some last minute travel changes, but they graciously hopped in anyway and figured everything out sight unseen.”

“Genesis was amazing with my furry baby. She was kind and patient with my little fur baby. He took some warming up and Genesis was able to meet him where he was and provide excellent care. Genesis will be my first choice when needing care for my pup. Thanks again.”

“We had the best cat sitter experience with Jules! She is an excellent communicator, shared ample photos, and gave a thorough update on each of our cats. She made our cat crew feel safe and respected around her and even coaxed our shy cat out from her hidey hole. In addition to feeding/water/litter, she made time to bond with them through play with wand toys. Our cats are looking forward to their next visit with Jules, already booked!”

“Absolutely amazing! Kenneth was on time and took care of my fur babies. My senior dog loved his drop ins for sure and the three walks a day. He made sure they had plenty of water and food. Cleaned the litter box too. Even played with Oreo the cat and his favorite string toy. Would definitely recommend to my friends and request him again if needed.”

“It was a pleasure to have Susan look after our cat, Mara, while we went on vacation. Upon meeting her, it was clear she really loves animals and wanted our pet to be calm and content while we were away. Susan's updates were prompt, detailed, and had lots of pictures. We came home to a very happy cat and would gladly book Susan again in the future!”

About: Proud cat and dog owner, I’ve also been house/pet-sitting for friends and family throughout the years, I can help clip claws, administer medicine, go on walks, enrichment activities! I can do it all! Currently between full time jobs post-graduating college, so I am more than available for any of your pet sitting needs! You can reach me through Rover or my phone number! At home I have a pet friendly home, fenced in yard and even gates throughout the thresholds to make sure pets are monitored in a contained (large, free-roaming) area. I am someone who is very cautious when it comes to safety as well, always making sure doors are locked, electric devices are turned off, and that I know where the pets are at all times.

Katrina was fantastic! She was patient, kind and loving with our dog, Ocean. She dealt with a couple of blips, an electrical outage and an itinerary change with grace and equanimity. We will hire her anytime we go away and have already referred friends and family to her. I can’t imagine a better pet sitter.

Our doggie looked sooo happy and rested when I got back & I know that’s b/c of J’s care. We have an older elderly dog with unique medical needs. This is the sitter you want their patience and care was excellent. Looking forward to rebooking them soon very soon indeed.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.
To find sitters in Cranston with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.
