I have a very flexible schedule, am mostly free during the early afternoon & mid-day so I like to get plenty of peak sun time outdoors. I do part time work in finance & also work as a freelance digital artist which is fully remote so I can keep pets company during the work day or take them out as needed. I do not have pets of my own or children so I can usually fit last minute requests in for repeat customers.

I am comfortable feeding pets with dental issues, brushing dogs teeth & meal prepping for pups is also within my skill sets. Basic grooming is also available if your dog or cat love to be brushed I am happy to give them some TLC.
A typical day
When I am house sitting especially for cats I will hang out with them for long stretches at first so I will watch 2 or 3 movies back to back until they get used to my presence. I like to give the animals extra attention & playtime since their owners have busy lives. I have been dedicated to my mind body soul healing & fitness journey since the pandemic, so I am very much into grounding activities like meditation & being one with nature and the animals can tell. I'm always looking for companions to join me on my outdoor creative daily adventures, I try to meet my step goal everyday. I love taking pictures & videos of folks pets since I am a freelance digital artist I will happily send lots of updates if requested.

Pet care experience
I have been a life-long animal lover. I met a newborn calf on a farm when I was about 8 years old & I was a vegan for almost 10 years. I have had many rescue animals of my own over the the past 15 years but I'm recently divorced so no pets of my own currently. Now I have a lot more flexibility & freedom in my schedule to do house pet sitting & dog walking. I have a level 2 certificate in Animal Reiki healing & will be getting basic first aid and CPR training for animals this summer.

Christine stayed with our cats as the first sitter we haven’t known personally, and I had pre-warned her that one of our cats is pretty shy and anxious. He turned out to be even moreso than we anticipated and hid the whole weekend—she did a great job working out a way to feed him while distracting our other much more confident, VERY food motivated cat. Would definitely book with her again!

Christine watched my dog and my house for nearly a month while I was out of the country. It was the longest I had ever left my dog so I was definitely anxious. Christine provided plenty of updates of all the fun adventures they had while I was away and let me know that my dog was doing just fine. She watered our garden and took fantastic care of our house too! I returned home to a very happy dog and the house just the way we left it. So greatly appreciate Christine’s commitment to providing exceptional care!!!
