Whether it’s a laid-back senior dog or a high-energy pup, I adjust to what they need to feel comfortable and cared for. I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I treat every dog like I would my own, with patience, attention, and plenty of play if they’re up for it. Whether it’s a walk, a drop-in, or just keeping your dog company, I’ve got you covered. I work from home, so I have some flexibility during the day to fit in walks or drop-in visits, especially in the late mornings or early afternoons. While I can’t be available at every hour, I do have enough wiggle room in my schedule to reliably show up when needed and give your pet quality time and attention. Very open and flexible on weekends when I have notice. If your dog has a regular routine or certain times they’re used to, I’ll do my best to work with that. Just give me a heads-up and we can figure out what works. When I’m caring for a dog in someone else’s home, I treat both the pet and the space with the same respect I’d expect if it were my own. I always make sure doors are securely closed, gates are locked, and routines are followed exactly as requested. I pay close attention to each dog’s behavior and comfort level and never push them into anything they’re not ready for. About: The experiences I have is with my own lovable lab mix fur baby who is 8 years old. As well as with the fur babies of my family and friends. Looking forward to meeting others and treating them like my own! I am looking for part time work as I do have a full time job with a notating schedule. Although I have full time job, I am looking for something to do part time that I enjoy and love doing. I do have a rotating schedule that will vary week to week but will always be reliable when committing to a request. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was 5. I currently have two dogs one 8 and one 7 at my parents home where I currently live. My brother and sister in law also have two dogs 2 and 1 years old. When my parents and them travel, I am in charge of the 4 of them at my house and we are all on a routine where everything is under control and still having fun. When needed, I do go to my brothers to take them for a walk and play with them to break up their day of being in the house. I am currently part time worker, so I have more free time during the week and figured I could use my time to help out dog lovers like yourself! For dog walking, I will follow your instructions carefully to make sure your pet and yourself are satisfied with my job. I will be safe but fun at the same time making sure your pets are cared for properly.

About: I had the enriching experience of living with a curious & stubborn miniature dachshund for 16 years - he was my “little brother”! As I matured I encouraged him to walk and was patient with interpreting his communication & his unique needs as he aged. I have also been able to visit with and care for a playful 3 year old chihuahua when I visit home in NJ. I am currently a graduate student in an occupational therapy doctorate program in Providence, RI. I am on my summer fieldwork which is full time in CT Monday - Thursday. Until August my Fridays are free, and I have minimal homework on weekends now so I am eager to get outside with some amazing dogs! I am not currently offering to bring your dog into my home for care.
