About: Erin and I both grew up with dogs and love having them around. Between caring for our siblings dogs periodically and being primary care takers of our dogs growing up we feel equipped to provide a safe and caring home. I am a remote worker so I am home throughout the week. Erin is a part time substitute teacher so she is home a few days as well. We would have lots of time to attend to a dog throughout the day and be able to provide lots of 1x1 time, walks, and playtime in the back yard. We have a fenced in back yard and live in a walkable neighborhood. We are currently a pet free house so your dog would be the only one here with us. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. My first job was working as a cat sitter for my neighbor’s young cat, Monkey. I’ve stayed at neighbors houses to watch their dogs since high school, providing regular walks, enrichment, and love. I’ve worked with puppies as young as 10 weeks and dogs as old as 12 years. I’ve worked with pets with special needs and medication needs. Most importantly, I truly love animals. As my sister’s weenie dog puppy can attest, nothing makes me happier than having an animal curled up on my lap. Even if it means dealing with some scratches or disciplining, being around pets is always worth it! As a student, my schedule is super flexible. I’m happy to take care of pets whenever I can. I love early morning walks, so I’m available as early as 7:30 am. My house requires getting up a few flights of stairs, so large senior pups may struggle. Otherwise, any animals are welcome. I’m happy to stay at other folks’ homes as I know this often makes animals more comfortable. I’m flexible to whatever your house rules are!

About: I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a sweet 7 year old Yorkie mix who is definitely the center of our household. If your pup is used to a home where they get lots of attention, then ours is the right fit. I volunteer with the Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland and understand the patience and love dogs need when with someone new or in an unfamiliar place. I’m a teacher so my summers and weekends are relatively free and I would love to spend some of July and August caring for your pup. During the summer, I usually take my dog Petey on about 4 walks a day and would love to bring your pup along as well. I do only take small- medium sized dogs as Petey can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds. I live with my husband and stepchildren who have had dogs all their lives and understand how to be around them. I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I love going for dog walks and you can be assured your pup will be outside for a good portion of the day. I can crate your dog if you like, but we don’t crate our own.
