“K usually takes our pup on walks weekly, but we decided to have her watch our pup overnight for a few days while we were on vacation. K took great care of our pup and sent us tons of updates. Our pup had so much fun with her and her son!”

“I am really pleased with the care Oreo received at Sonia's home. I looked for a "dog sitter for him" and I think he found attention, love and friends. I will definitely keep her contact for the future.”

“We had to find someone last minute on the 4th of July weekend, and came across Kenny & Kaylan! They responded almost instantly and were available for the dates we needed. We scheduled a meet and greet the next day and Marley felt right at home! They sent us photos and updates daily and gave extra cuddles to Marley when the scary fireworks were going off! We couldn’t be more happier and will definitely be using them in the future! Thanks for taking such great care of our first (fur) baby!”

“This is the first time we left Odie for over a week anywhere. Bethany sent us pictures and let us know how he was doing. Bethany is so great. We were able to leave and know that he was in the best hands possible. She loves what she does and truly cares for each and every dog she takes care of. We are so happy we have someone like Bethany to take care of Odie when we are away. She is the best! Thank you for loving our pup as much as we do!”

“Qulynda was great! She took such great care of our dog while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pup was in good hands. I would highly recommend using Qulynda if you’re looking for someone to care for your furry one!”

“This was Salgari’s second stay with Anely. It had been 3 months since his previous stay, but Salgari remembered her, and was really excited to see her! Anely was again amazing, constantly sending photos and updates. In all of the photos Salgari’s tail was a blur because of how much he was wagging his tail! He had a great time during his stay and I could relax and focus during my trip. All around amazing experience! Mil gracias Anely!”

“Jenna and Micheal took great care of Shep! We loved all the videos and photos they sent over the long weekend - it was so great that Shep had a friend to play with all weekend, he was super tired when we picked him up”

“Our dogs had the best weekend with Kexin and Carlos (and their new furry friends)! Everything was super easy and smooth. They kept us updated with great pictures and videos and even gave us sweet mementos of their stay. We will absolutely book again and highly recommend them!! Thank you both so much for your thoughtfulness and care with Franklin and Riley!”

About: I am very experienced of Feeding, Giving medication and most of all giving love and attention to them. Especially while there loved ones are away! I am a senior retired from the post office and I am open to all hours. Would be great to get up and walk your pet. I do not have a fenced in area but plenty of woods where we can travel on a harness or leash so it would be secure
“Heather was fantastic! Very responsive, sent photos of our dog Lucy and kept us up to date. We will definitely be utilizing her services more often. Thanks a ton Heather!”

“Carolina was great with Kobe. She made him very comfortable. She was communicated throughout the whole stay. She was awesome in providing updates and pictures. I would definitely be using her service again!”

“Karen was amazing. Our two dogs had a great time at her house and Karen made them feel at home and put our minds at ease with many updates and pictures! Definitely recommend Karen 10/10!!”
“Pea had her first sleep over with Faith and Jay and I was so happy to see just how comfortable she was in the space. So grateful for the accommodations for this ~very~ particular dog.”

“Natasha was an excellent caregiver to our dog Lola for 12 days. She kept us up to date on how are girl was doing with daily photos and videos. It put us at peace to know she was well taken care of. I would highly recommend Natasha to watch your pet!”

“I highly recommend Kat. She is great!!! This was yhe first time I left my puppy for a week and I was very nervous about it. I did a meet and great and she immediately put me at ease about leaving my puppy with her. She sent me daily updates and was thoroughly pleased with her care of my puppy. Thanks Kat”

“Denise went above and beyond caring for my pup! He’s getting older and recently had back surgery (IVDD), and she was incredibly thoughtful — even buying a stroller so he could still enjoy walks. She also laid out blankets all around her home to prevent him from slipping and falling. I’m so grateful for the love and attention she gave him and will definitely be booking with her again. Thank you for everything, Denise!”
“Charlie spent two weeks with Lisa and was so comfortable and well taken care of. We were able to fully log offline and relax knowing he was in good hands! Multiple daily updates with photos and occasional videos. Charlie is a senior dog with separation anxiety so we were very worried about leaving him for so long and finding a sitter who would accommodate his joint problems and medication needs. Lisa was great about his routine and attentive to our requests!”

About: Se habla español! Hello there! My name is Devorat, but you can call me Debby. I’ve always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for pets. I have lots of energy and love to spend it playing with animals! I consider pets part of the family, and I know exactly how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is an open & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
“Enid was great with our dogs! She made them feel right at home and kept us updated with pictures and videos! Highly recommend and will for sure be using her to watch our pups again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Lincoln
We communicated and met with Kaylan, and she was great! Very responsive and kind. Our dogs got along well, and mine was really delighted to have little kiddos around for a change. There were other dogs being boarded, so if your dogs not chill you might inquire about other dogs they're sitting. But they were upfront with that as well and told us their plan before we went to meet everyone.

Karen looked after our dog for the second time in two weekends this past weekend. She was incredibly flexible when our flight out was delayed and our return flight was canceled. Knowing that Trapper was well cared for in the midst of all the flight issues made one less thing we needed to worry about. Thanks!

Alyssa was the first time I ever hired a pet sitter 😊. I was super impressed!! Willow is a rescue we only had about a month, so we were concerned about having her get nervous and anxious in a new environment and away from us. Alyssa kept us updated on my Willow's stay - pictures and prose. We were so relieved to see Willow getting along so well with Alyssa. Willow came back content, and we were so happy to have found Alyssa!! Your pets will be so lucky to have Alyssa care for them; do not hesitate in the least. You will see for yourself what a loving and codependent care she gives them !

Amy is the best!! She has now watched Cooper in her home on two separate weekends. We did a “meet and greet” between Cooper and her two dogs prior to Coop’s first stay and after all the good boys settled down we knew this was the place for Cooper. We know he gets lots of attention because Amy takes one dog at a time. She is very interested in what your dog likes/does not like and daily routines, so she can give your furry baby the best possible “home away from home” experience. I would highly recommend!!

Kaitlyn watched our sweet pup for a week. Shortly before we left for vacation, he unexpectedly had some health issues that required medication and extra loving. As a fur-mom, I was concerned about leaving him but Kaitlyn was wonderful! She was able to get him to take his meds and gave him lots of attention. She sent daily photos and updates and I could tell he was getting lots of love and felt right at home. I’m thankful to have found Kaitlyn and would definitely recommend her to take good care of your dog too.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
