About: I have taken care of cats on multiple occasions! I also have taken care of 2 to 3 cats on occasion. If your cat allows me, I love using the laser pointer to play or any other toys they like! I am always very meticulous with my cleaning of water and food bowls, and litter boxes. I will give treats to your cat as well!

I was very nervous about how he would do, but he did great and I definitely believe it’s in part to Stephanie’s excellent care! Stephanie was extremely detailed - she came over to the house before we left and I walked her through all our normal routines and she was totally ready - notebook in hand taking lots of notes! It meant a lot to me to see her paying such close attention to the different things. Hops ate well while we were gone, which was something I was worried about, so that was very reassuring. Stephanie always sent us 20+ pictures for each visit, a detailed note about how he was doing and let us know how he was eating and using the bathroom. We even had a minor issue with our automatic cat box not working properly, and Stephanie was super proactive and messaged me immediately (we were on vacation, so I messaged back as soon as I noticed) and was working to figure out a plan on what to do. We figured it out together, but I feel very confident that if I wasn’t available, she would’ve been able to find a solution without me that would’ve been great. 10/10 would definitely hire Stephanie again! About: Hi, I'm Nikki! I'm new to Rover but I've helped care for animals for many years. I've worked for a dog walking company and it was one of the best jobs I've had in my life. Being out, exploring, and getting exercise was fun for both me and the dogs on my route. I'd give reports and take photos of all our outings. From there, I worked at an animal hospital assisting vet techs and doctors by walking, feeding and holding the animals for their treatments. I learned so much, especially about having patience and compassion for animals that are sick and scared. I gained a lot of knowledge about safe animal handling and body language. I've also completed Fear Free training! I have adopted a pretty quirky Beagle/Boston terrier mix about 10 yrs ago and he's kept me busy ever since. He's very smart and active. “We brought our Falco for daycare with Misael and we were so happy with the service!! Misael was super responsive and Falco seemed very happy to be there. Misael sent pictures and updates regularly. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heart’s content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I’ve cared for about 8 dogs in my life. I currently own two and all of them have been like my best friends. I also used to volunteer at a pitbull rescue for a year and a half while serving in the military. I also have a cat and have been cat sitting neighbors cats since I was 10. I am currently going to school at moorpark college working on my psych degree. I’m always free either early in the morning or about mid afternoon and available all Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. “Devorat is an absolute dream. She is truly the pet-parent that you want if you have to be away from your own pet. My dog Mookie stayed with Devorat for 5 days and nights on very short notice. She messaged frequently in the first 24 hours to keep us updated on how Mookie was settling in, and sent plenty of photos during the entire stay. We could tell from the photos that he was clearly comfortable in his home-away-from-home. He and Toby were great playmates in the fenced-in backyard, and he Devorat were fast friends, with plenty of couch cuddle-time. Knowing Mookie was well cared for really helped us enjoy our family trip. In addition to her care and attention to Mookie, Devorat also offered accommodation and flexibility in the drop-off and pick-up scheduling to make things as easy as possible for us as we nailed down our travel plans at the last minute. I really appreciated her communication throughout the visit, and I could tell from her updates that she was really taking time to get to know our dog, and that he was in the best possible hands. We already plan to book with Devorat again soon!”
