“Laura has been great with walking one of my dogs while I am away for work. She has been really attentive to my dog's needs as a shy rescue and offers a lot of encouragement. She has also been great with my other dog who has some health issues as well. I would highly recommend her for caring for your pets!”

“Couldn't be more grateful for Rachel's incredible service! She came to the rescue last minute and took my dog for a fantastic walk. Not only was she available on short notice, but she also went above and beyond to ensure my dog had a wonderful time. Highly recommend her to anyone in need of a reliable and caring pet sitter/walker!”

“Kamilla is fabulous! She was kind enough to take the time to do a meet & greet to ensure she has all the details for pet care. My corgi loved spending time with her! She was communicative, punctual and great overall. Highly recommend Kamilla 🙂🫶”

About: I’m an animal-loving farm girl with a lifelong background working with animals of all kinds. I hold a bachelor’s degree and have hands-on experience caring for everything from cockatiels, chinchillas, and turtles to horses, cows, and a wide variety of dog breeds. I’ve owned and worked with many rescue animals, which has given me a deep appreciation for each pet’s unique personality, comfort level, and needs. I believe in building trust, creating structure, and meeting every dog where they’re at - whether they’re high energy, sensitive, or just want a cozy place to relax. My experience as a veterinary technician in both small and large animal medicine allows me to confidently recognize when something isn’t right and respond appropriately, giving you added peace of mind while your pet is in my care. Here on our small hobby farm, dogs get the opportunity to safely enjoy space, fresh air, and freedom to be dogs — always supervised, and always treated like part of the family. That includes plenty of attention, enrichment, and yes… relaxing on the furniture (unless you prefer otherwise, which I will absolutely respect if specified). Safety is always my top priority. If staying with me, dogs will enjoy plenty of supervised off-leash time in our fencing in yard depending on their temperament and your comfort level. If I am away for a short period, dogs are safely crated. Our home includes two friendly pups, a cat, a horse, and two miniature pet cows. For everyone’s safety, visiting dogs must be non-aggressive with other animals. No farm experience needed — most dogs love the opportunity to explore something new! I currently work another job Mon-Thurs until 4pm. I have limited availability for walks and drop-ins those evenings. I am off Fri-Sun so available for walks, drop-ins, farm-fun doggie daycare and sleepovers. If you have questions about availability, please feel free to message me! I have a large fenced yard and two fun-loving pups so everyone can safely run free and play like dogs should. Crates are available if needed. Leashed farm walks to meet the mini cows and help with horse chores are part of our daily routine.
About: I’ve sat for multiple families and pets and have owned many animals so comfortable with all. Even other pets like birds, turtles, lizards basically any. Treat animals like my own and frankly treat them more like kids considering single and child free lol. Past clients say the animals miss me now look around for me and look when they say my name I still stay in touch and visit sometimes. I work at Dunkin’ Donuts mornings in Cumberland Rhode Island but usually any day after 1-2pm I’m free and I get a couple days off In your home I’ll spend time playing with the pets inside and outside and clean up after them. Willing to help around the house if needed also
“Xavier is responsible and communicative and always on time. Our dog, Reggie loves Xavier and does so much better on the days when Xavier comes to walk him. Xavier goes above and beyond by making sure the puppy mess is picked up at our house before he leaves. I highly recommend Xavier for your pet.”

“Abby is great! She’s helped me out a lot on short notice when I needed it and was also available for a longer daycare stay! She always makes sure Sadie has lots of fun and is well taken care of! Will definitely use her services again.”

About: I grew up with a dog (Bassett) for most of my childhood until I was 19. Since then, I have been a pet sitter (both cats & dogs) at times for friends and family. In 2020, I worked at a doggy daycare for about a month (I left due to COVID). While there, I received additional training around dog behavior. I also fostered some cats while in college! I'm a caring, attentive, and intuitive person, and I prioritize safety and comfort for everyone (& dog) involved. I would love to do a meet & greet with you and your dog before starting walks! I'm currently working part-time and in graduate school. This semester, I'm available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends from 9:30am-3pm for some beautiful walks with furry friends! I do not have a fenced in yard, but I do have a spacious yard and a spacious & cozy home. I also do not have a crate available at this time.
About: I love working as a caregiver for dogs, cats, and humans of all ages. I am an artist and educator who is relatively new to Providence, working part-time as Faculty at RISD, and would love to spend some time with your dear pet! I offer new clients a complimentary introductory meeting with you and your pet! I am currently working part-time, and have lots of daytime availability to spend with your creatures! I am available most days before 3 pm. I will be traveling April 27 - May 7th, but have lots of availability before and after that trip. Over the past 20 years, I have worked in client's homes as a pet sitter, nanny, eldercare caregiver, and mental health attendant. I am comfortable working with your rhythms, space, and routine. I am very mindful in my client's homes and always respect their environments ways that meet their individual standards.
About: My first pet was Max, a cat. We met when I first got home from the hospital. My second pet was Tigger, a striped kitty, who was my best friend from adolescence to adulthood. I’ve had pets my entire life, and I’ve been pet-sitting for friends and family since I could stay home on my own. I currently have an older Aussie named Rain, who I adopted in Colorado. We would regularly go to dog parks, people parks, hiking in the mountains, and any other adventure we could find. My family recently lost our Pitbull and our two kitties to old age. So I do have experience taking care of aging pets. As well as experience administering pills - even for cats. While I was in college, I worked at a doggie daycare kennel for a short while. I fed, bathed, and walked dogs. I fed cats, as well, and monitored the daycare room. And when I lived in Colorado, I volunteered for the Denver Dumb Friends League (animal shelter). There, I wrote copy for the available dogs, so I’d often go meet with the dogs and walk them so I could write something good. I also played with kittens because I could. I’m currently only working part time with a flexible schedule, so I can easily fit your fur-baby into my schedule in a way that works best for him or her. I’m happy to meet you somewhere prior to my visit for an introduction! If it’s a last minute need, we can video chat so you can show me where everything is and we can go over any specifics. If all goes well and you need a more regular schedule, I’m happy to talk about that after my first visit! If the service being requested is a neighborhood walk, I will treat your pup as if they are my own and keep them safe. If you have a fenced yard and the service is just to let them out, I’ll make sure to keep them company while they do their business. And they will get lots of pets and love while I’m there!!
About: As a child I grew up with two dogs and a cat. I am a true people person as well as an animal lover! I have taken care of family, friends, and neighbors pets while they are away. I have fostered dogs in the past and currently have two cats at home! I am currently working as a registered nurse so my schedule is very flexible throughout the week and weekends. I work 3 12 hour shifts per week. I'm willing to help out when I can and work around my schedule. I assist with feeding and companionship with both animals in my home and the services I offer. I often do care in the clients home while away on vacation but would also be willing to come over for just a walk or a little play time.
“Lesley is amazing! We contacted her on short notice when my fiance was suddenly returning back to work. We loved that she had the experience to provide training walks for our little guy who is still learning his leash manners. She was flexible with our schedules, and keeps in contact with updates/videos throughout. She has provided us great advice on how to be better dog parents while on our walks. In just a few visits our baby is already behaving so much better on his walks! Do yourself a favor and hire Lesley!”

“Thank you Amy and Scott for a great first visit with Leo! I was very worried about how Leo would do but Amy and Scott made the visit very easy and stresa free! Leo enjoyed his walk and was very comfortable with them!”

I also love spending time with my boyfriend’s 120lb dog, who is the sweetest soul. I currently live with my family & work M-F, 8-4. I love all animals, dogs especially! (This may change but for now just weekends). I love all sizes and breeds! I hope I am a good fit for you & your pet! I look forward to hearing from you and meeting your furry friend. I’m currently working Monday through Friday from 8am-3:45pm. I am currently looking for weekend time with pups.
