Doggy Day Care Lincoln

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

One of my beloved dogs, Gigi, developed diabetes later in life, which required daily insulin injections and eventually led to blindness. Caring for her taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and providing extra comfort to dogs with medical needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, especially when they require medication or specialized care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I carefully follow every instruction you provide, including feeding schedules, medication administration, dietary needs, exercise routines, and any special preferences that help your pet feel at home. My home features a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. You'll receive regular photo and video updates, along with messages letting you know how your furry family member is doing, so you can relax knowing they're in caring hands. My goal is simple: to love and care for your dog the same way I cared for my own—with patience, kindness, compassion, and lots of hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and affection. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like family. I currently have flexible availability throughout the week, including weekdays and weekends, which allows me to provide plenty of time, attention, and companionship to the pets in my care. Whether your dog enjoys playtime, outdoor time in the yard, leisurely walks, lots of cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I'm able to tailor my schedule around their individual routine and needs. About: I’ve had the privilege of being a dog owner since the age of 13. Dogs are a part of my life and are so healing to the soul. I’ve had years of experience in loving and taking care of these fur babies. I do well with following instructions, being respectful, and creating a safe space & home for your pups. I would consider myself to be a great and responsible dog mom, sitter, and would love and take care of your dog like my own. I’m a stay at home mom and have the time to take care and play with your pups. I have space in my backyard for playtime and potty time and live in a beautiful neighborhood to go on walks for fresh air and exercise. My family spends a lot of time outside and so will your pup (weather permitting of course). I’m available during weekdays and weekends. My services include boarding and doggy day care. I have a backyard and beautiful deck to get plenty of playtime and sunshine. I also live right across the street from a large park that we can take trips to. I have a small and friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I will keep your dog on a leash while outside and/or can close off the deck for a more secure area.
