âDogs came home very happy and tired! They very much enjoyed their stay with Annmarie. We loved the picture updates throughout their visit. Thank you again, we will definitely rebook in the future!â

âShelley was absolutely phenomenal. As close to having him at home as possible - in fact, he almost didnât want to come home. Shelley was ON POINT with all of our pups special needs and meds. She was attentive and kind. Took him out as often as he needed and on walks (short because of the heat of course). I plan to continue working w Shelley as a repeat. Luca is looking forward to spending time with his Aunt Shelley. I felt so comfortable leaving him with her and am so grateful for all the TLC she showed out little guy. â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â¤ď¸â

âHired Kenny and Kaylan to dogsit my 2 year old shiba inu in the morning for a week. My dog was always happy and excited for the daycare stay. They send multiple pictures of the dog through out the day to let you know how your pet is doing. 10/10 would hire them to look after my shiba inu againâ

About: Working at a lively doggy daycare, I care for up to 15 dogs at once, so nothing surprises me! Big, small, shy, or mischievous, I know how to keep dogs safe while having a blast! Your pup will get plenty of love, playtime, and cuddles, plus photo updates so you can see them in real time :) I work at a doggy daycare, so caring for animals is part of my everyday life. I currently work part time at my doggy daycare, so I have plenty of time on the side to care for your pets! In my home, pets have plenty of space, toys, and attention. I always supervise and will separate my cats if needed to keep everyone safe. For in client home visits, I follow your instructions, provide food, water, and cuddles, and send photo updates so you know your pet is happy and secure. I also donât mind helping out with bringing in the mail, and or cleaning up a bit!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. Iâve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. Iâm full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

âWe brought our Falco for daycare with Misael and we were so happy with the service!! Misael was super responsive and Falco seemed very happy to be there. Misael sent pictures and updates regularly. There was a nice yard and Falco was able to roam around to his heartâs content. Falco is a big boy and Misael and his family treated Falco like their own. We will be using his service again soon for overnight boarding and feel really comfortable with them. Thanks for making us feel like Falco is safe with you!!! Highly recommend!!â

âFantastic experience with Megan. Felt completely comfortable leaving Teddy in her care. Lots of communication and sweet pictures throughout the stay. Teddy was happy and relaxed when we picked him up. 100% recommend!â

âSonia is absolutely fantastic! My dog Isla had an amazing time and was so happy and tired when we picked her up. We'll definitely keep rebooking going forward! Having just adopted my dog ~6 months ago, this is the first time we've left her with anyone other than family and I have to say I was SO comfortable and happy knowing that she was in great care. Sonia sent pictures almost immediately to let us know Isla was settling in and more to follow up during the day. Highly, highly recommend Sonia-- wonderful experience knowing that my dog was in the best possible hands!â

About: Iâve loved and had dogs since I was very young, always taking care of them. Mine recently have passed of old age but I am not in a place to get my own again yet! I would love to take care of anyoneâs dogs as if theyâre my own! Please note my rate before scheduling! Iâm currently enrolled in online college, so I am home almost always. Even if I do have to go out, someone will always be home as I live with my retired grandparents! We have a lovely trail in the woods next to my house that dogs always love! It leads to a beautiful reservoir. We also have a large front yard and peaceful neighborhood.

Think of doggy day care as your dogâs fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.

Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0â7 kilograms and/or 7â18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pupâs socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dogâs pack, check the sitterâs profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dogâs vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitterâs care.
Many sitters in MA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, youâre adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justiceâs National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Roverâs commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
