“Jenna and Michael were wonderful. We are also sitters on Rover and probably have higher than average standards for our babygirl Sadie (~60 lb rescue). We first did a meet and greet and from the moment we meant them we knew they were good people. We had already meet four other sitters at this point and were starting to feel hopeless. Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! Sadie got lots of exercise playing with Chase and going on walks. I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. About: Dogs have been my whole heart for as long as I can remember. I loved my own dog for 15 and a half wonderful years, caring for him through every stage of life until we had to say goodbye last summer. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: Starting when I was only two years old, I became the neighborhood dog walker. Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, turtles, hamsters, rabbits, lizards, birds, and more. In 2020, I began my own cat rescue and to date have saved 40 stray/feral cats and kittens. I have experience working as a Veterinary Assistant, and am certified in Cat and Dog First Aid. My house is full of fur babies - I have a pit bull and three cats of my own. My schedule is semi flexible and I work remotely on Wednesdays. I do not work on Fridays or over the weekends. I feel very comfortable with all animals. My rescue work has taught me how to work well with terrified or aggressive animals, and I have a lot of patience. About: I have had dogs my entire life and currently have a sweet 7 year old Yorkie mix who is definitely the center of our household. If your pup is used to a home where they get lots of attention, then ours is the right fit. I volunteer with the Hotel for Homeless Dogs in Cumberland and understand the patience and love dogs need when with someone new or in an unfamiliar place. I’m a teacher so my summers and weekends are relatively free and I would love to spend some of July and August caring for your pup. During the summer, I usually take my dog Petey on about 4 walks a day and would love to bring your pup along as well. I do only take small- medium sized dogs as Petey can sometimes be intimidated by larger breeds. I live with my husband and stepchildren who have had dogs all their lives and understand how to be around them. I have an unfenced yard and live in a quiet neighborhood. I love going for dog walks and you can be assured your pup will be outside for a good portion of the day. I can crate your dog if you like, but we don’t crate our own.

We are happy to accommodate your needs and will love your dog as our own! We have a very flexible schedule and myself or my husband are usually home to care for the dogs. Your dog will get a lot of attention! We have a large fenced in yard and deck in the back to run and play. We have several dog beds and a large crate available if needed in the house.

Jenna and Michael were warm, and lovely from the start. Their home is spacious, their yard is BIG, and their own pup, Chase is adorable! I was worried that Sadie would taunt their chickens the entire time (which she probably did) but they handled it with evident experience around this challenge. We would happily book with them again. We have a fully fenced yard for supervised outdoor play and live in a quiet, safe neighborhood that is great for walks. We also have a friendly 4-year-old Labrador who enjoys the company of other dogs and helps visiting pets feel at home. Our family includes young children who love animals and have been taught how to interact with pets safely, respectfully, and appropriately. We understand that every pet has a unique personality and comfort level, and we work to create a calm, welcoming environment where they can feel secure, loved, and part of the family.
