About: Hello my name is Mary-Ann, I live in a single family home with a fully fenced in yard in Cherry Hill Estates in Johnston, RI. I don't leave dogs outside unattended. I’ve been blessed to have dogs for my whole life. I would love to open our home and couch to your fur baby in need of a safe, loving and caring environment. I currently have a fur baby named Buddy who is a Senior Bichon Shih Tzu mix who absolutely loves other dogs. He is very friendly and up to date on all his shots. My husband works from home full-time and I work from home 3 days a week. So, your fur baby won’t be alone. I know Buddy doesn’t like to be alone. I live in a quiet walkable neighborhood which allows us to take leisurely walks and a big fully fenced in back yard. I also have a dog door that leads out into a fully enclosed Dog Pen to access anytime for the potty. Pets are part of our families, and I know it’s important to make them feel comfortable and keep them safe at all times which will give you peace of mind while you are away. About: I worked at a doggy daycare in college where I was responsible for taking care of upwards of 12 dogs. I adopted my dog 4 years ago and he's become a part of the family. I've taken care of him as well as friends dogs (including puppies) when they are away. However you choose to take care of your dog is how I will take care of them. I'm currently working part time, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! I'm available every day and night of the week. I follow all of the instructions given to me by the owner to make sure the pet is taken care of, comfortable with a stranger, and loved.

One of my beloved dogs, Gigi, developed diabetes later in life, which required daily insulin injections and eventually led to blindness. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, especially when they require medication or specialized care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I carefully follow every instruction you provide, including feeding schedules, medication administration, dietary needs, exercise routines, and any special preferences that help your pet feel at home. My home features a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. You'll receive regular photo and video updates, along with messages letting you know how your furry family member is doing, so you can relax knowing they're in caring hands. My goal is simple: to love and care for your dog the same way I cared for my own—with patience, kindness, compassion, and lots of hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and affection. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like family. During the week, I work Monday through Thursday outside of the home and typically return by 5:30 PM. If you're comfortable with your dog being home during those hours, I'll make sure they're well cared for before I leave and as soon as I return, with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and playtime throughout the evening. On Fridays, I work from home, allowing me to provide more frequent companionship and care throughout the day. I'm also fully available on weekends and enjoy spending quality time with the dogs in my care. I believe open communication is important, so I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and determine whether my schedule is the right fit for their individual needs. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I'm committed to following the care instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable as possible while they're with me.
