About: Hi! I'm Lynn, and caring for dogs has been one of the greatest joys of my life for more than 30 years. I've had the privilege of raising and caring for four incredible dogs, each of whom I lovingly called my "kids." They weren't just pets—they were cherished members of our family. Through every stage of life, from playful puppies to their senior years, I was there to provide them with the love, patience, and care they deserved. One of my beloved dogs, Gigi, developed diabetes later in life, which required daily insulin injections and eventually led to blindness. Caring for her taught me the importance of patience, consistency, and providing extra comfort to dogs with medical needs. I understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else, especially when they require medication or specialized care, and I take that responsibility very seriously. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the yard, cuddling on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I'll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you're away. I carefully follow every instruction you provide, including feeding schedules, medication administration, dietary needs, exercise routines, and any special preferences that help your pet feel at home. My home features a secure, fenced-in yard with both grassy and paved areas, giving dogs plenty of safe space to explore, play, and enjoy the outdoors. I also know how important peace of mind is for pet parents. You'll receive regular photo and video updates, along with messages letting you know how your furry family member is doing, so you can relax knowing they're in caring hands. My goal is simple: to love and care for your dog the same way I cared for my own—with patience, kindness, compassion, and lots of hugs, kisses, belly rubs, and affection. When your pet is with me, they'll be treated like family. During the week, I work Monday through Thursday outside of the home and typically return by 5:30 PM. If you're comfortable with your dog being home during those hours, I'll make sure they're well cared for before I leave and as soon as I return, with plenty of love, attention, exercise, and playtime throughout the evening. On Fridays, I work from home, allowing me to provide more frequent companionship and care throughout the day. I'm also fully available on weekends and enjoy spending quality time with the dogs in my care. I believe open communication is important, so I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and determine whether my schedule is the right fit for their individual needs. My goal is to ensure both you and your pet feel comfortable, confident, and cared for. Your pet's safety, comfort, and happiness are always my highest priorities. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and needs, and I'm committed to following the care instructions you provide so they feel as comfortable as possible while they're with me. If your dog is crate-trained or you're more comfortable having them in a crate or exercise pen during certain times, I'm more than happy to follow that routine. I mostly work in the afternoon and evenings so my mornings are mostly free. I am happy to pop by after work to check in and take care of your animals I believe every pet is happiest when they can stick to their normal routine, so I do my best to provide consistent, personalized care. In a client’s home, I follow their pet’s usual schedule for meals, walks, playtime, potty breaks, medications (if needed), and bedtime while making sure they receive plenty of love and attention. I also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they’re away. If caring for pets in my home, I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment where they receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection. I always make sure pets have fresh water, regular potty breaks, enrichment through play and mental stimulation, and a cozy place to relax. About: Hello, I’m a Brown University graduate who gave up on the corporate life to live off my art and my passion for animals. I’ve always had pets in my life, especially cats, and I’ve been caring for them since I was a kid. Growing up, I also helped watch my neighbors’ pets whenever they needed an extra hand. Now, I’m a proud dog mom to Bonnie, a sweet Australian Shepherd/German Shepherd mix I share with my partner. Because she’s our first dog, we dove deep into research—while at Brown, we studied canine behavior and body language to better understand how dogs communicate and what they need to feel safe and happy. That knowledge has been invaluable in helping us welcome pet guests into our home. When your pets stay with us, they’ll be treated just like Bonnie—with cuddles, love, fun walks, playtime, and plenty of care. My goal is always to make them feel at home, comfortable, and loved. My schedule is very flexible, so I have plenty of time to walk, feed, play with, and cuddle your pets throughout the day. Whether they need extra attention, long walks, or just companionship, I’m here to make sure they always feel cared for. The first priority for me when caring for animals is safety. I pay close attention to the environment and make sure pets are always comfortable and secure. For dogs, I have a safe yard where they can play, take potty breaks, or just relax outside. I also live in a very pet-friendly neighborhood, perfect for safe walks and trips to the park. For cats, my home is equipped with window protection so they can’t slip outside (unless they are leash-trained or outdoor cats whose owners prefer outside time). I always respect each owner’s preferences—whether that means leash walks, indoor-only care, or a specific routine. If not in my own house, it's my pleasure to go to the owners house to take care of the cats! I will check the whole house to make sure everything is in order, clean everything, feed, hang out and play with the little ones! I pay attention to each animal’s unique needs. About: I worked at a doggy daycare in college where I was responsible for taking care of upwards of 12 dogs. I adopted my dog 4 years ago and he's become a part of the family. I've taken care of him as well as friends dogs (including puppies) when they are away. However you choose to take care of your dog is how I will take care of them. I'm currently working part time, which leaves me plenty of time to take care of your dog(s)! I'm available every day and night of the week. I follow all of the instructions given to me by the owner to make sure the pet is taken care of, comfortable with a stranger, and loved.
