“Jay & Faith were wonderful. I was grateful to receive regular updates and photos of my pup throughout her stay, and they made me feel confident that she was safe and loved while I was away.”

“Qulynda was great! She took such great care of our dog while we were away, and it gave us so much peace of mind knowing our pup was in good hands. I would highly recommend using Qulynda if you’re looking for someone to care for your furry one!”

“Jillian was amazing! She sent so many pictures and videos- I saw what a great time Jane was having on her “vacation”. Her dog, Milo, was the sweetest and played so well with Jane. I didn’t think Jane was going to want to come home. Thank you so much!”

“Had issues with one of my dog’s behavior but Lisa handled the situation perfectly and my parents took him. She was great with my other dog, lot of walks, homemade treats, and she even washed his blankets! Highly recommended!”

About: Se habla español! Hello there! My name is Devorat, but you can call me Debby. I’ve always loved animals and have spent most of my life caring for pets. I have lots of energy and love to spend it playing with animals! I consider pets part of the family, and I know exactly how important it is to find someone you can truly trust with your fur baby. I offer a highly attentive, safe, and loving environment in Cranston. My home has a fully fenced yard where your dog can run and play safely, and I am home to provide potty breaks every 2 to 4 hours. My family has a friendly 6 year old Goldendoodle named Toby, but he lives downstairs in a separate apartment. Because of this, my main living space is completely open and dedicated to my guest dogs! It is an open & flexible place where multiple guest dogs can socialize and play together comfortably. A Note on Special Accommodations: I want every pup to feel completely safe and stress free, I am happy to take on senior dogs or pups who need a little extra space! If your dog needs their own private room, a strict rotation schedule away from other guest doggies, please shoot me a message. Because of the extra time and private room setup required, my rate for solo/special needs boarding starts at $65 night. Since I attend school virtually, I am home all day and pet care is my primary focus! Your pets will have constant company and plenty of attention. I am fully available for overnight boarding, fun doggy day care, and active neighborhood dog walking on both weekdays and weekends. I am happy to help with your pet's feeding, playtime, and exercise routines throughout the day! Safety is my top priority. I am here to supervise play and potty breaks in my fully fenced yard. I closely follow your specific care instructions, including feeding schedules and crate routines. I’m home most of the day, but I do sometimes pop out for quick errands. Before leaving, I always make sure the dogs are safely tucked into their crates or separated so they stay safe and happy while I’m gone. You'll get plenty of regular photo updates so you can see your pet is safe and having fun!
“Bridget is really friendly and flexible. She didn't hesitate to accommodate us when we needed to extend our trip. My dog also loved her. I highly recommend her.”

“Jessica, Abu and Justin are the canine equivalent of the cat’s meow of dog sitters. Jessica is quick to communicate, easy going, and so knowledgeable! The backyard and house are well suited to canine guests. We can’t say enough good things and though our sweet dog is a homebody, we think he’s actually looking forward to his next stay and whatever adventures await him. Abu is one of a kind and a gentle, friendly host. THANK YOU!”

“Chris & Whitney were great with Rook! I received pictures every day and had good communication with them throughout my trip. They also went above and beyond and let me leave my car in their driveway. Very nice couple who you can tell just genuinely loves dogs!”

“Lisa is an amazing sitter! She sent lots of updates and I knew that my dog was in great hands the entire time. I would definitely recommend her to anyone and would love to have her watch my dog again.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - North Providence
Anely was great with our dog! He has resource guarding issues and is terrified of fireworks (this boarding was over the 4th of July), and she handled both things beautifully, keeping him separated while he ate and administering anti anxiety meds. Sent plenty of pictures throughout - would absolutely book again!

Karen looked after our dog for the second time in two weekends this past weekend. She was incredibly flexible when our flight out was delayed and our return flight was canceled. Knowing that Trapper was well cared for in the midst of all the flight issues made one less thing we needed to worry about. Thanks!

Gary was awesome and took care of my Stoni through the 4th of July weekend. He kept me informed and the communication was excellent. I received photos of Stoni throughout her stay which made me feel comfortable and relaxed knowing she was well taken care of. I will likely rebook in the future with Gary. I couldn’t have asked for anything more!

Hello, good afternoon! I would like to thank you for the way Malique took care of our dog Rocky. He is very dear to our family, and we are absolutely sure that he had an excellent stay. Thank you very much, and as soon as we need it again, we will definitely get in touch.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in RI ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
