“We couldn’t be happier with the care Matt and Patty provided for our Golden Retriever during the 10 nights we were out of the country. From the very beginning, we felt completely comfortable leaving him in their care. We were able to visit their home beforehand, and they have a wonderful setup, including a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of room for him to play. Throughout our trip, Matt and Patty sent us frequent updates and photos, which gave us tremendous peace of mind. They took him on daily walks around the neighborhood, gave him lots of attention, and it was very clear that he was happy, comfortable, and well cared for. What really stood out to us was how they handled a day when he wasn’t feeling well and developed some stomach issues. Matt immediately contacted us, proactively made an appointment with the vet, and made sure we were comfortable with him taking our dog in to be seen. Afterward, Matt and Patty followed the vet’s recommendations closely and even cooked rice and beef for his meals for several days while his stomach recovered. They truly cared for him as if he were their own. When we returned, we came home to a very happy puppy, and we could tell he had been loved and well cared for the entire time. We are so excited to have found Matt and Patty. Finding people you can completely trust with your dog while you’re away is incredibly important, and we feel very fortunate to have found such reliable, attentive, and genuinely caring sitters. Veru was wonderful! Alfie stayed for entire week and I did not have any concerns about his care while I was away. I received daily photos and videos. It was like Alfie was at camp for a week having fun and getting to play with other dogs Veru was providing care for. There were several walks to the park daily which was perfect for my little bundle of energy. When I picked up and brought him home he was exhausted from all of the fun! Took great care of my dogs and provided lots of updates while they were with her! Very friendly and professional, and also patient with my older Frenchie who can be stubborn and sassy. Loved that there is a backyard for the pups to play and I knew they had easy access to go back inside if it got too warm.
