After high-energy activities, I provide water gradually and safely rather than allowing them to drink too quickly. I also provide detailed grooming care, including gentle brushing and checking for ticks or other concerns. If necessary, I will carefully remove ticks and make sure the pet remains comfortable. Beyond basic care, I enjoy spending time with pets through play, affection, and companionship. I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love that I would give to my own pet.

About: I've lived with dogs my entire life / taken care of them when I lived at my family's home. I have looked after golden retriever/German shepherd/great pyrenees mixed with lab, Spanish greyhounds, dachshund beagle mixes. I am comfortable with dogs of any size. I've found myself able to be in tune with a dog's feelings & they are often drawn to me because of my calm nature. I find it easy to bond with dogs and feel very comfortable just hanging out with them or taking care of them. I also love spending time with dogs including playing, walking, cuddling, or just hanging out and watching tv. I have special experience with reactive dogs where I needed to alter my walking routes in order to avoid other dogs (the dog my family had had been previously abused) as well as giving dogs oral medications. My top priority is your dog's safety/happiness. When it comes to giving care I'm very good at following instructions and know how difficult it can be to finding the right fit for someone to take care of their beloved dogs. I have a strong attention to detail and would love to provide the best possible care. I work from home and have lunch breaks that can be taken anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour but am flexible. I am able to step out if need be during the day for a quick check-in on pets/am willing to do so. I start work at 8 am and finish at 4:30 pm and often go to the gym afterwards but have about 30 minutes-2 hours free that I could use to check on pets. Overall, I'm flexible with working from home! If needed I am available to stay in your home to provide 24/7 care to your pets/work from your home. I care for my pets by feeding them, walking them, playing in the backyard, and just by hanging out with them when they're tired out from the day. My full time job requires me to have a strong attention to detail/high level of accuracy so I'm very dedicated to making sure I follow instructions. The safety of dogs is my top priority. My younger sister had a service dog and when he would go out in public we would sometimes have people ask if they could pet him. We had to politely tell them that he was working/a service dog. I mention this because I have no problem making sure dogs are safe and telling others when it's not ok to interact with them if they're working/anxious dogs/they don't do well with others.
About: I’ve been around animals my whole life: dogs, cats, bunnies, chickens, you name it! My smallest dog ever was a chihuahua and my largest is a cane corso. My home was also a foster home and we had many litters of puppies and kittens come through on their way to their forever families! I work full time so I am primarily available on weekends, but I do work from home once a week if you need a last minute walk or check in on a pet! I am happy to take your pet outside, feed them, play with them, go for a walk or to get some exercise! I am unable to take them in my home but happy to work with you to fit you and your pet’s needs.

Crystal watched our cats for a week and did a wonderful job taking care of them and communicating with us. We got detailed updates and photos every day, and when one of the feeders malfunctioned Crystal troubleshooted and made sure it was fixed before leaving. We also came home to a lovely card and a couple of new toys for our cats. I would book Crystal again and highly recommend!
It was so nice to leave our pups with someone caring and punctual. Leaving our dogs and access to our home was home was a little intimidating, but Amanda put our worries to rest quickly, and our quirky pups loved her visits. Summer was awesome. She quickly connected with our parrot and took good care of her while we were away. Summer was always on time and clearly communicated / reached out if she ran into any issues. We look forward to having Summer look after our parrot next time we're out of town.
