About: I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I’m the current parent of a dog and cat named Macy and Cider. Ever since I was a kid, my family often volunteered to watch, walk, and care for the pets of friends and extended family. I have also worked and volunteered at zoos for many years to help teach people about the wonderful critters all over our world. Needless to say, animals have been a big part of my life as long as I can remember! I recently finished a school year of full time substitute teaching, and I’m taking no a summer off to job hunt and pursue teaching licensing. Having the summer off means I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do not have a fenced yard, but I supplement that by giving my dog, Macy, plenty of time to walk outside (her favorite activity), visit the dog park, and play indoors to get her potty breaks and her energy out. She is a very low energy dog who gets along well with others, people and dogs alike! I have a cat named Cider as well, who keeps to herself around other animals, while she’s never been around cats friendlier than her, she is very sweet to people who treat her with gentle respect.

If you prefer to crate your dog when they are indoors, I will happily do so as well so as to not impact your pet’s sense of normalcy and the rules they need to follow. If you prefer your dog to be alone on walks, I’d be happy to walk them in places where there are few other people or dogs around so that they feel safe.
