“Carrie was the best Rover sitter we’ve ever used. We were out of town and unreachable for two weeks, and Carrie made sure that both of our kitties were happy and healthy when we returned. She even managed the air conditioning during a heat wave to ensure they were safe. We could not thank her more for allowing us to enjoy our wedding and honeymoon without worrying about our girls. Thank you, Carrie!”

“Jenna did a great job taking care of my dog. She played with him, fed him, and walked him. I was able to relax knowing my pup was well taken care of. I have booked with her before and will definitely book with her in the future.”

“Allison left the funniest and detailed notes after her visits to see our boys! She is reliable, a good communicator and made sure our cats were well cared for while we were away for the weekend. We will definitely have Allison over again and would recommend her to anyone.”

“Allyssah was great with my three dogs during her drop in visits. She took the time to meet them while I was home prior to the visits and was very friendly and asked good questions to make sure she was prepared. She was very punctual and sent lots of pictures and updates. I would book her again!”

Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. Whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or during a walk, I’ll follow your instructions carefully, maintain their normal routine, and treat your home with the same respect I would my own. I pay close attention to each pet’s individual needs, provide plenty of love and patience, and always make sure they have fresh water, exercise, and lots of attention. About: I have been a pet owner for my entire life, and I’m the current parent of a dog and cat named Macy and Cider. Ever since I was a kid, my family often volunteered to watch, walk, and care for the pets of friends and extended family. I have also worked and volunteered at zoos for many years to help teach people about the wonderful critters all over our world. Needless to say, animals have been a big part of my life as long as I can remember! I recently finished a school year of full time substitute teaching, and I’m taking no a summer off to job hunt and pursue teaching licensing. Having the summer off means I have lots of time to spend with your pets! I do not have a fenced yard, but I supplement that by giving my dog, Macy, plenty of time to walk outside (her favorite activity), visit the dog park, and play indoors to get her potty breaks and her energy out. She is a very low energy dog who gets along well with others, people and dogs alike! I have a cat named Cider as well, who keeps to herself around other animals, while she’s never been around cats friendlier than her, she is very sweet to people who treat her with gentle respect.
“Cierra was great with our cats! They are typically shy around new people but they opened up to her within the first day. We got great updates and photos with every visit and communication was prompt. Highly recommend!”

“This is my second time Amber and Zachary have watched my cats. They are amazing, always on time with tons of pictures!! I’m completely comfortable with them in my home.”

“Jessica did an amazing job caring for our cat Bailey while we were away! She spent extra time caring for and getting to know our cat and sent pictures and updates following every visit. I would highly recommend Jessica and we will definitely be using her in the future!”

About: I have taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes. I often pet sit for puppies only a few months old, and cared for my senior girl as her mobility decreased. I have also taken care of dogs that followed strict diets and medication routines. Providing the care that your dog requires to keep them happy and healthy is my priority! Whether they prefer to take it easy and chill on the couch, or go on long walks and play fetch for hours, I will adapt and ensure your pup is happy. I am currently finishing up my master’s degree, and am doing my internship part time during the week. My schedule is flexible for the days that I provided availability, so I am happy to adapt to your needs! I am happy to follow the safety guidelines and routines that you have set for your pet. I have a fenced in yard at my home for my pets, and they roam in and out all day. However, I have also watched pets without a fenced in yard that needed to be leashed when they go outside so I am happy to adapt and supervise your dog just as you would! If you prefer to crate your dog when they are indoors, I will happily do so as well so as to not impact your pet’s sense of normalcy and the rules they need to follow. If you prefer your dog to be alone on walks, I’d be happy to walk them in places where there are few other people or dogs around so that they feel safe.

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Attleboro
Carrie was the best Rover sitter we’ve ever used. Thank you, Carrie!

Dan and Serena were very attentive to our cats' feeding schedules and made sure they had lots of playtime. One of our cats had an accident and they cleaned it up perfectly as if it were never there and even brought out the trash. I highly recommend Serena and would trust her to watch our fur(less) babies again!

Lisa is amazing!!!! She went above and beyond for my little guy. I was so nervous leaving him at home by himself and Lisa made me feel so much better. She provided updates as to how he was doing, she sent my pictures of him, and was awesome with him. Can’t recommend her enough with your furry babies

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Attleboro. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
