My experience with dogs began in 2011, when I enrolled in a Junior Cynologist School and started training my own dogs. I also participated in dog shows and assisted with show-related work. In 2015, I began working professionally with clients’ dogs. I later earned a diploma in Cynology and continued my education in Animal Science. My background includes dog training, behavior, handling, socialization, kennel care, assisting with births, and caring for pregnant dogs and puppies. I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, including large guardian breeds. I understand that every animal has individual needs, and I prioritize safety, clear communication, consistency, and respectful care.

Safety, trust & environment
I provide care in the client’s home, where pets can remain in a familiar environment. I carefully follow all instructions for feeding, walking, medication, household access, and safety. Doors, gates, windows, leashes, collars, and harnesses are checked and secured. I use calm, respectful handling and never force interaction with an anxious or fearful animal.

Polina was very responsive to text. I loved all the pics and constant updates. I really appreciated the pics of the cleaned litter boxes. I would highly recommend her!
Disappointed. I have a camera in my living room for security reasons while living in Philadelphia, which I review at the end of each day. The sitter was asleep over 80% of her time watching my 8 week old puppy which resulted in him falling off the couch headfirst while she was sleeping on my couch and him getting dangerously close to the edge of the couch in a second incident, when she fell back asleep. Not only that, but most of the time he sleep in the corner of my apartment, on the floor, when I asked that he be placed on the couch to be more comfortable after she shared her first update of him. I think this is very unprofessional because 1. You’re in someone else’s home and you’re laid out on their furniture, 2. My dog is a baby who was left unsupervised for long periods of time. The area he was sleeping near had electrical wires and since he’s teething but also chews when anxious and nervous, it could’ve been dangerous for him. Regardless if she knew this or not, you should not be sleeping when hired to care for small animals. I left specific instruction on training treats when he pees as he is still potty training and asked that she wipe the pee on the pad. I did not see her give my dog his treat, nor did she clean the pad. It honestly broke my heart to see this as I expect my dog to receive the best care from a “star sitter”. Then when I brought this up to Rover, the sitter was only willing to provide a $10 refund after I paid $92 for the booking. Luckily, Rover was generous and provided me with a partial refund. I’m a first time Rover user and after my report to rover, they expressed that video cameras should be disclosed. It’s my home and I have to protect my animal and property. The camera was in the living space and you’re in someone else’s home. Regardless of any of that, you should be doing the job you were hired for!!!
Polina is so great with our two cats. We’ve booked Polina for the second time and couldn’t be more happier with the service and care she has provided while we were away. We fully trust in Polina to be there for our cats in the same way we are and know that they are in good hands.

Polina was a great sitter for Arty! Arty is a shy guy and Polina and him became fast friends. Definitely recommend her services.
Polina was a great last minute sitter! She was punctual each day and stayed the full 30 minutes. She cleaned the litter box more than we asked her and she sent photos each day. Some days she didn’t send a text updated but would provide one when I asked her. Thanks for taking care of our kitties Polina!
