“Megan M gets an A+++ from Milo and Mo. Why we love Megan - she is super nice, reliable, smart, trustworthy, very neat, follows instructions, sends great videos, photos, and messages - Milo loves her, my neighbors are asking about her, and she took great care of Milo. What more could I ask for while I was away.”

“Raven to the rescue! Enzo had a rough night due to his advanced age, but Raven was a blessing. Enzo was cared for throughout the ordeal. We couldn’t have felt more confident! Thank you!”

About: My partner and I have been caring for animals from bunnies to horses for our entire lives. Friends and family have relied and continue to rely on us to walk, feed, and board their pets. We do this because we love the companionship pups! Pets will be carefully looked after by my partner and I. They’ll be preoccupied daily with loads of activities! Parents are welcome to pictures/videos while they’re away. Your pets will have access to food/water, furniture, toys, undivided attention and unconditional love! Our dogs start the day by zooming and playing in our fully fenced in yard. Throughout the day we practice commands and do various activities. Here, we love dog puzzles and mentally and physically stimulating activities! Our house is pet friendly with plenty of space to play inside or out, depending on the weather. We also have pets of our own, who are very high energy and playful! We prefer gradual introductions to keep everyone calm and safe so your dogs will not meet ours during initial meet and greets. They’ll likely only meet ours if they stay multiple times or for more than 3 days. Entering a new environment or being cared for by someone new can be stressful for pets so we pay close attention to how each pet responds and acts and make sure to cater according to their individual needs, giving them space or activities as needed. Your pet will be loved, safe, and well cared for while they are here!
“Rachel was a wonderful sitter for our dog Moose. She took the time to do a meet and greet prior to watching him, was great at communicating during the visit, and sent lots of sweet pictures.”

“Brianna was wonderful. My dog Henry can be a bit anxious when Im away but he warmed up to her immediately. She was very attentive to his needs and took excellent care of him. I will definitely book with her again and I highly recommend her.”

“Kay is PHENOMENAL. She's incredibly attentive and look great care of our pup while I was gone. She sent updates and was so responsive. I came back to a happy and we'll cared for pup. I'll absolutely be asking her to watch him again. She's trusted and very reliable.”

“Stephanie was INCREDIBLE! We left our 2 year old with her and she’s pretty skeptical with strangers. Stephanie scheduled a meet and greet and somehow instantly won our hesitant pup over. She was communicative and kind throughout the process. She was an absolute delight. This is the first time that we left our dog after adopting her so it was so lovely to know we left her in great hands.”

“We couldn’t be happier with Shannan! She stayed in our home for three weeks to take care of our dog, Max, and we came back to the same tidy home we left — plus a happy, well-cared-for pup. Not only did she keep Max loved and comfortable, but she also worked on some training with him, which was such a pleasant surprise. Shannan kept us updated with regular messages, photos, and videos, so we always felt connected while we were away. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and responsible dog sitter.”

“Miriam is FANTASTIC! She took amazing care of my fur babies while staying at my home. They were safe, happy, and well cared for the entire time. She kept them entertained and gave them so much love and attention. I highly recommend her!”

“I don't even know where to begin with how wonderful Ariel is! She took amazing care of our handful of a dog for 4 days while we were away and went above and beyond! She was very respectful of our home, which she offered to stay over to give our dog more company. She was very informative and communicating with me about everything from his feeding, bathroom breaks, and hours so would come and go. She asked great questions and genuinely cared about caring for our dog and interacting with him. I would highly recommend using Ariel for your pet sitting needs. I hope to be able to have her watch our dog again before the end of summer. 5+ stars for Ariel!”

About: I’ve taken care of so many different types of animals growing up. I have always had a compassion for caring for animals and providing them with the love and care that they deserve. I am currently a student in college who works part time, while taking in online classes. So a lot of my time will be spent creating bonds with your beloved animals! I can follow any certain safety procedures and make sure your fuzzy friend stays safer than ever, because that’s what I would want with my babies.
About: I have owned dogs for 40 years. I just recently lost my little Maltese. He was 16 years old and my best friend. Your dog will be treated like a grandchild when they are with me. One of my friends said that when she dies she wants to come back as one of my pets! I have the time and the experience to take care of your dog. I will try to accommodate your scheduling needs. If your dog requires a special diet that is not a problem. Once a week I roasted a chicken for my little guy. I just love their company. I look forward to the opportunity of spending time with them, playing, going for walks, and always having cuddle time. The house is just not the same without a dog around. I am retired so I have the flexibility to accommodate your booking and scheduling needs. No need to panic if you are delayed picking up your best friend. I adjust the day according to your dog's schedule. Your pet takes top priority. Since I only board one dog at a time (or 2 within the same family) your dog has my undivided attention all day. If your dog likes to cuddle on the couch or sleeps in your bed that is what he/she can do at my house. Before I accept a booking I require a Meet and Greet to determine if we are a good fit. I prefer small hypoallergenic breeds that DO NOT SHED!. If the dog comes to my home and does shed I will charge an extra fee of $50.00. Your dog must be house broken, bathed prior to boarding, current on all vaccines, and must have had a flea and tic treatment. I also request that anything you bring into my house is clean and laundered, like blankets and beds, etc. Your pet will never be outside unattended or off leash. Your dog becomes a member of my family during their stay and will be cared for like my own . That's a promise! I'm retired. I am home all day. Whatever schedule your dog has I can easily accommodate it. Having a dog in my home brings me much joy. The dog's needs come first. If a special diet is required or medicine needs to be given I am very capable of handling these types of situations. The dog will never be off leash when we are outside unless you have instructed otherwise. If the dog has certain "triggers" or is an anxious type we can discuss this behavior at the meet and greet and discuss how these situations are handled.

“Sophia was great! 10 out of 10 would recommend for sitting your pet! We were able to meet her before she stayed at our house! This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs for a few days to head to vacation and she was always sending us updated on how they were doing! We will be rebooking with Sophia for our next vacation to stay with our 2 dogs!”

“Isabel took great care of our two dogs in our home over the weekend! She was comfortable administering their medications, and sent lots of great updates and pictures. We would definitely have her watch our boys again!”

I can’t say enough good things about Sunnel! I had to find a pet sitter pretty last minute, and I’m so glad I did. I received updates every single day, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. Coming home, the house was exactly as I left it, and my girls were happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. The care and communication were outstanding from start to finish. Knowing my dogs were in such good hands made it so much easier to enjoy my trip. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with Sunnel again and would absolutely recommend them to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable, and caring to watch their pets. Thank you again, Sunnel!
Stephanie was INCREDIBLE! We left our 2 year old with her and she’s pretty skeptical with strangers. Stephanie scheduled a meet and greet and somehow instantly won our hesitant pup over. She was communicative and kind throughout the process. She was an absolute delight. This is the first time that we left our dog after adopting her so it was so lovely to know we left her in great hands.

We had a huge flight delay and she was so patient about it and took great care of our kids. One of them had a few poop accidents in the house. She kept us updated, cleaned it up and listened to our instructions! We know our kids will always be taken great care of with Jessie!! The kids can’t wait for her to come back!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Attleboro walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Attleboro maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Attleboro choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
