About: Hi! I’m Shadya. I have experience caring for pets through pet sitting and from having pets of my own. About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.

About: I have assisted my mom’s dog care business for 15+ years taking care of dogs of every kind by walking, in home sitting, playing, feeding, etc I am available everyday most early mornings, middays and evenings for walking and nights especially on the weekends for house sitting. Guest dogs join my daily rhythm naturally, with consistent feeding times, multiple walks, and plenty of one-on-one attention throughout the day In my home, I host one guest at a time in a calm, quiet space with supervised indoor time and secure, leashed walks. In your home, I follow your routines, feeding times, medications, and house rules. I always start with a meet and greet, keep dogs leashed or secured at all times, and send regular photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing.

About: I've been a great caregiver to many of my friends and families pets. I've grown up with my childhood dog for 14 years and have worked at an animal shelter handling and caring for cats and dogs. I currently work part-time as a research associate. I am unavailable from 2PM-7PM on weekdays, but available during times before or after those hours as well as all day weekends. About: Ive been taking care of my own pets as long as Ive been able, and began pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for others in high school during 2022. I have experience with cats and dogs of varying ages (puppies/kittens-elderly pets) and needs (illnesses and disabilities), as well as more exotic pets like lizards, birds, rodents, and aquatic animals like fish, turtles, and axolotls. About: I’ve taken care of my family’s dog for years, and over time friends started trusting me with theirs too. I’m reliable, I pay attention to what each dog needs, and I genuinely enjoy having them around. I’m currently working from home but can take time out of my day during to take care of pets and walk dogs. Since I work from home, I am typically also available to house-sit. I have a cozy townhome in which the dog will have lots of room to move around and plenty of space outside for me to take them on a walk.

About: I love dogs & cats. I love walking & hanging out with animals - sometimes more than people! :) I have a very healthy respect for a dog's nature, and have owned & trained our own German Shepherd and worked with trainers in doing so. Our Jack was a big beautiful boy, & was with us until he passed at 12 years of age, 3 years ago. Not one day goes by that I do not miss him, his company, & our walks. Being a German Shepherd (125 lbs), I had to learn how to handle him, teach him, exercise him, train him, wash him, brush him endlessly, and of course, learn how to be trained by him as well. ;) Also being a typical GSD, he got into every situation imaginable - skunks, possums, eating electrical cords, moving furniture, cat chasing, bee stings, chasing garbage trucks, escaping, opening every lock possible, chasing everything, learning to leash walk, and finally, surgical procedures and cancer treatments to seniorhood. I learned to put the phone down on our walks & just be with him & absorb what he sees & hears....I still do this when dog walking with other dogs. It's really one of the best parts of any day as far as I am concerned, & it takes a special kind of quiet & attention to the dog to get the most of it. I have worked with small & medium dogs as well both as clients and in my family. I LOVE WALKING WITH DOGS!!! It's a nature thing, it's a natural thing, & something I enjoy immensely rain, snow, or preferably sunny conditions. I do not work full-time, so my freedom is good. I have one dog walk currently scheduled daily which takes about an hour or so. I am available locally in RI or nearby Massachusetts, or my husband works in Nantucket so I can provide walks out there if needed by anyone on the Island. I would expect to work with the client's home in whatever capacity needed for their pet(s). We can walk, keep it in the yard, relax, play ... whatever is required by the pet owner.
