About: I have 3 dogs of my own ranging from small to large size that have been part of my family for 9 years; all are rescued. Before that, I was pet-sitting for family, friends, and neighbors while they were away. I love animals in general. All of my dogs have been through formal training, and I am working toward earning my CPDT-KA in dog training. Dog walking: I go out for walks with my dogs all the time, walking up to 4 dogs at a time. I have experience walking dogs that don't know how to walk on a leash yet, dogs that walk nicely, and dogs that pull constantly and try to chase other animals they may see. I am happy to work on leash skills and socialization while walking your dog. Pet-sitting: My husband and I have also fostered dogs for animal rescues. So I have experience caring for all types of dogs. I have a dog that is very smart and gets into everything, which has made me very conscious of household pet safety. My priority with all the dogs I care for is to make them comfortable, happy, and safe. I am between jobs at the moment, so I am available all day on most days. I work a part-time job Tuesday and Wednesday evenings. Sometimes my husband will help me with daycare or boarding. With three of my own dogs, there are plenty of friends here to entertain a visiting pup. They are very friendly but can be overwhelming on the initial meeting. I insist on meet and greets for dogs coming to my home so that they can be comfortable with the environment and the other dogs before they are left there. If there is a period of time that my husband and I will not be home, I prefer to crate the visiting dog for the safety of all the dogs. A visiting dog must be able to tolerate a crate for at least a few hours for that reason. All playtime is carefully supervised. Whether in my own home or at your home, I will not take dogs outside unfenced and unleashed even if it is what the dog normally does. I like to take all possible precautions to keep the dogs in my care safe. If they have to travel in my car, they will be secured by a doggie seatbelt.

I've also offered pet-sitting services for various clients and have had the privilege of assisting my licensed dog behavioral specialist mother for many years, where she has shared her knowledge of behavior and training with me. I have two cats of my own and adore not only them, but all animals. Rest assured, your pets will receive top-notch care and affection during your absence. Your furry companions will be in capable, loving hands! I typically have the most availability weekdays, anywhere from morning until around 5pm. Weekends are dependent on date, and evenings are a bit tougher for me to make work with my second job, but I will do my best to work my schedule around your pets’ needs! Because I have two cats of my own, I unfortunately cannot bring your fur babies into my own home, but I will provide the ideal care for your pet in your home! I understand every pet has different needs, so I will be extremely attentive to them, and treating them with patience and kindness. Whatever they need, I can provide!

I currently work at a daycare picking up and dropping kids off at school and have the weekends off. I have plenty of time depending on your specific needs for your pet to drop in to let your pet out to potty, take for a walk, feed, playtime Spend the night if needed and more I have a pup of my own that loves playing with other dogs of all sizes. I always clean up after potty breaks and give lots of affection playing ball etc during my stay. I have experience with dogs who require medication and if u have any special requests or accommodations as well
