About: I have been dog sitting for friends on and off since I can remember and always grew up around animals. I love to stay active and move but also just sit and play and take care of dogs and cats. I always seem to know just the right spot to rub with all the cute adorable dogs which is all of them! About: Hi! I have been pet sitting with my non-reactive pup Sylvie for a number of friend's cats and dogs since COVID (usually as a favor) in and out of the New England area. I work at an arts non-profit in PVD and can drive. I can pet-sit and do limited amounts of dog training. Right now I work in a dog-friendly place 10 minutes from my home and my partner is working from home. We like going on hikes and to the dog parks. I would not bring a client's pet to my workplace, but a pet would always have someone with them at all times or at least not be left alone for more than a few hours at a time. I am most flexible on weekends and for overnight care. I have a fenced yard, a crate, and multiple rooms in the home with pocket doors that can split a larger room into two if needed. We usually let pets have free range of home or section off the living room depending on the temperament and needs of the pet.

About: My partner and I have been caring for animals from bunnies to horses for our entire lives. Friends and family have relied and continue to rely on us to walk, feed, and board their pets. We do this because we love the companionship pups! Pets will be carefully looked after by my partner and I. They’ll be preoccupied daily with loads of activities! Our dogs start the day by zooming and playing in our fully fenced in yard. Throughout the day we practice commands and do various activities. Here, we love dog puzzles and mentally and physically stimulating activities! Our house is pet friendly with plenty of space to play inside or out, depending on the weather. We also have pets of our own, who are very high energy and playful! We prefer gradual introductions to keep everyone calm and safe so your dogs will not meet ours during initial meet and greets. They’ll likely only meet ours if they stay multiple times or for more than 3 days. Entering a new environment or being cared for by someone new can be stressful for pets so we pay close attention to how each pet responds and acts and make sure to cater according to their individual needs, giving them space or activities as needed. Your pet will be loved, safe, and well cared for while they are here!

I will make sure your pup feels safe, and loved while you are away. I work fully remote Monday- Friday and work a side job on Monday night and Wednesday night. Heather is awesome!!! A family member was supposed to watch our dogs but she was injured just days before our trip. I reached out to Heather at 4pm on a Tuesday and she was at my house for a meet and greet at 8am Wednesday. She was super accommodating from the first moment all the way to the end of the sitting. Throughout our vaca she sent pics and videos but was also totally self sufficient. The dogs had a great time with her. When we got home our dogs were happy to see us but not desperate for attention as they sometimes have been in the past after we’ve been away. You could tell that they were the #1 focus of Heather’s time while we were gone and received tons of play and snuggles. I will absolutely book Heather again and highly recommend her!
Zoe is so obviously a cat lover, which goes a long way in my book. But she didn’t only give our cats a lot of attention, she was also extremely responsive, easy to work with, and respectful of our space. We (and our cats) would love to hire her again when we travel!

Amazing! 2nd time asking Michelle to stay at our home with Sheba. The amount of attention and care that is given is outstanding. The picture updates are so welcomed and appreciated just to see how happy she is!. We know that Sheba is in great hands and we do not have to worry at all. Virgelica was the best! She cared for my turtle & cat while we were both away. They can both be finicky pets but she did great with them and kept me up to date. The two of them are happy as can be since I returned home. I had tech issues while I was away and wasn't able to access the rover app frequently -- I'm glad rover provides a phone number so we could keep in contact that way. Virgelica was diligent, had great communication, and both of our pets happy! Would recommend her to anyone.
