About: Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I’ve cared for my own pets throughout my life and have hands-on experience as both a foster caregiver and dog trainer with service dogs in training. These experiences have taught me how to understand different personalities, needs, and behaviors while providing patience, consistency, and plenty of love. My passion for animals also led me to earn a degree in Ecology, where I developed a deeper understanding and appreciation for the natural world and the animals we share it with. I truly enjoy getting to know each animal as an individual and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Whether your pet needs exercise, enrichment, companionship, or simply some extra attention, I’m dedicated to treating them like family. I’m currently in between jobs and have plenty of time to care for your best friend! I also have a dog at home so I do need to care for him but other than that I’m available weekdays and weekends! When caring for pets in their own home, my goal is to keep them comfortable, happy, and on their normal routine. About: Ive been taking care of my own pets as long as Ive been able, and began pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking for others in high school during 2022. About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was little. They have always had a special place in heart. I’ve had all different types of animals and my sister is a vet so she has taught me some little things. Heather is awesome!!! A family member was supposed to watch our dogs but she was injured just days before our trip. I reached out to Heather at 4pm on a Tuesday and she was at my house for a meet and greet at 8am Wednesday. She was super accommodating from the first moment all the way to the end of the sitting. Throughout our vaca she sent pics and videos but was also totally self sufficient. The dogs had a great time with her. When we got home our dogs were happy to see us but not desperate for attention as they sometimes have been in the past after we’ve been away. You could tell that they were the #1 focus of Heather’s time while we were gone and received tons of play and snuggles. I will absolutely book Heather again and highly recommend her!
Zoe is so obviously a cat lover, which goes a long way in my book. But she didn’t only give our cats a lot of attention, she was also extremely responsive, easy to work with, and respectful of our space. We (and our cats) would love to hire her again when we travel!

Jessica was absolutely great. We were very nervous about leaving our dogs with a sitter for the first time but Jessica made those nerves go away. It was hard to find a sitter a 2 months before our 5 day trip so finding Jessica was a blessing. She was great with our dogs & our dogs got along with her from day one. She was reliable, professional, punctual & most of all she truly took care of our boys as if they were hers. She sent daily videos & pictures. Always responded when we had questions. Always contacted us if she needed something. She even was available to check on the dogs during the day after our flight got canceled due to mechanical issues amd we couldn’t get another flight until Thursday night and we were panicking because our booking was supposed to end on Wednesday. She found a way to fit us in so she could stop by and check in on the dogs on Thursday morning and evening. We will definitely be using her again real soon. I highly recommend her.
Amazing! 2nd time asking Michelle to stay at our home with Sheba. The amount of attention and care that is given is outstanding. The picture updates are so welcomed and appreciated just to see how happy she is!. We know that Sheba is in great hands and we do not have to worry at all. Virgelica was the best! She cared for my turtle & cat while we were both away. They can both be finicky pets but she did great with them and kept me up to date. The two of them are happy as can be since I returned home. I had tech issues while I was away and wasn't able to access the rover app frequently -- I'm glad rover provides a phone number so we could keep in contact that way. Virgelica was diligent, had great communication, and both of our pets happy! Would recommend her to anyone.
