I adopted a 10yo cocker spaniel one month ago, and needed to go away for 5 nights for training. I was worried that Romeo would feel abandoned again when I left him. I shouldn't have worried. Nick and his wife welcomed Romeo into their home like he was one of their own! Their 2 dogs even acted like they were happy to see him! Nick sent lots of pictures, and Romeo looked really happy! I have a training follow-up next Tuesday and I'm so glad Nick can take care of Romeo again! He and his wife fed, watered, walked and played with Romeo. “Briana did an amazing job caring for our cat Bob. He's a shy guy, but very sweet when he warms up to people, and Briana brought out his best! He took a liking to her immediately, and seemed to have a wonderful time during the house-sitting visit. Briana did a great job familiarizing herself with Bob's feeding schedule and needs, dispensed his food with care, and also administered his every-other-day oral medication like a pro! Bob enjoyed some play time with Briana (which is great because he's a tough one to entertain), and felt comfortable enough with her to stick to his morning nap schedule in our absence. I am always very meticulous with my cleaning of water and food bowls, and litter boxes. I will give treats to your cat as well!

About: I grew up with black lab mixes, having at least one dog in the house all the time. I helped to raise two of the family black lab puppies through 15 years and care for the next generation, a 2 year old black lab/border collie rescue pup, teaching her to sit and lay down. I’ve cared for all kinds of dogs over the past few years, learning patience from puppies, strength from sweet old ladies, and the careful nuance that comes with leash aggressive rescues. I now have an adopted a rescue greyhound in the family. She loves new friends but is also perfectly happy cat napping wherever her bed lands. Happy to host or walk, with or without her company. I’m full time at home and so I am free to do breaks and provide limited entertainment between meetings, which are never more than 1.5h. This is the schedule I provide my own pup and would extend to others. I treat them as my own. I prefer to be over communicative with owners if any potential issues arise as well. Greyhounds react particularly poorly to negative feedback and punishment, so patience and focus on pawsitivity (particularly treats) is a standard with me.

About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes and breeds since i was 12. In middle school all the way threw collage my cousin and i would walk dogs and stop in and feed dogs threw out neighborhood. I am a huge animal lover i have always had dogs cats small animals i currently only have 1 dog so plenty of room for your fur babies who i can't wait to meet. I am willing to meet up to meet your fur babies to if that makes you more comfortable I am currently a stay at home mom, so i will have plenty of time to spend with your fur babies. The only time i will leave the house is to grab my daughter off the bus which is 5 minutes tops. I have an unfenced yard with a dog runner thats 75 feet we also have a fenced in park a 2 minute walk from my house that we go to at least twice a day. I have a dog as well to keep your baby company.

About: My partner and I have been caring for animals from bunnies to horses for our entire lives. Friends and family have relied and continue to rely on us to walk, feed, and board their pets. We also have pets of our own, who are very high energy and playful! We prefer gradual introductions to keep everyone calm and safe so your dogs will not meet ours during initial meet and greets. They’ll likely only meet ours if they stay multiple times or for more than 3 days. Entering a new environment or being cared for by someone new can be stressful for pets so we pay close attention to how each pet responds and acts and make sure to cater according to their individual needs, giving them space or activities as needed. Your pet will be loved, safe, and well cared for while they are here!

He was incredibly patient with her and helped her build trust and feel safe during her stay. He also helped her become more comfortable around other dogs, which meant a lot to us. “If you are looking for someone who will care for your pet like they have known them their whole life.. then you DEFINITELY want to choose Sonia!!!!! Our daughter was getting married and we had to leave our pomsky for the night. He has NEVER not spent a night with family!! Sonia made it sooo easy on my heart with MULTIPLE pictures of my boy playing with her beautiful Lab Lola!! I was nervous to leave him ANYWHERE but I absolutely would not hesitate to leave him in Sonia’s care again!! If there were more then 5 stars I would give them. She even stayed up with him in the middle of the night when his separation anxiety set it!! THAT IS A LOT TO ASK FROM ANYONE!!! Thank you, thank you, thank you Sonia!”
