I’ve taken care of, and been surrounded by pets from a very young age. My childhood dog was a beagle mix and lived to be 16 years old! In 2018 my husband and I rescued an American Staffordshire Terrier named Tiger, and he has a tremendous amount of personality. Our first year with him we worked through various behavior issues (barking at everything in sight), and treatment for heartworm disease. I am familiar with and utilize clicker training with my dog, and can do the same when I have your pup out for walks. I also understand how critical it is to keep a dog calm when they are undergoing heartworm treatment (in addition to the frequent potty breaks some medications cause). You can rest assured knowing that your dog will be treated as a member of the family when they are under my care. Whether your dog is high-energy and needs lots of play time, or a professional couch potato, I will give them the best experience they can get!

My husband and I currently live in a 3-family home that we rent out to tenants. I am unfortunately unable to provide dog boarding services in my home, but can do dog sitting at your home. In my experience I’ve found that this provides a much more relaxed environment for your pet, when they are already having do manage their fur parents being away!

We love Michelle, and have hired her every time we’ve gone out of town for the past year! She always does a wonderful, through a job, taking care of our kitties and sends Great photos and update updates.
Michelle is the absolute best. She is always so professional. She has clearly been doing this for a while and has a system down. She knows dog needs and was always so great with my dog; especially after he had major surgery and required a lot more than usual. She was completely up for the task and I trusted her completely to take good care of boy. She communicates well and I never doubted she would show up to walk and feed my pup. Rudy loves her. She is truly great. Highly recommend.

Michelle was an EXCELLENT house sitter with our fur baby during our recent 10 day trip abroad. She handled our Large Bully breed female Joyce awesomely! (Somehow even getting her to willing take her meds😂) She kept in good contact with us often sending pictures. She went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. She also fed our koi pond fish for us. When we came home the house was clean and orderly (as we left it) . We will be booking her again for house sitting! And already have her booked for drop ins on nights we may be out later! We met with and booked Michelle months in advance but she made sure to schedule and come and see Joyce before the booking so Joyce would “know”and be okay with her! I highly recommend Michelle especially if you have a Bully breed or a larger breed dog. She has that special bit of patience that they require 😁
Michelle was great! Super communicative and easy to work with. Felt very comfortable leaving our kitties with her and will definitely do so again in the future.

Schedule
I’m currently working part time and have availability from late morning through the evening most days (I am also available weekends). My schedule is flexible and I can work with you on any last-minute requests.

- To make sure your pet has a safe and healthy experience, I would like to be aware of any medications or behavioral tendencies. I don’t have any breed preferences/restrictions - I love all dogs! I am comfortable with transporting, lifting, carrying, etc. I have had experience dealing with/handling off-leash dogs in my neighborhood to avoid major conflicts. My car has seat covers, so if I am watching your dog, we will go on plenty of adventures!
