About: I’ve trained three very skittish rescue doggies and purebred pups. I dog sit for friends and family often. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs since I was 10 years old. My first job was working as a cat sitter for my neighbor’s young cat, Monkey. I’ve stayed at neighbors houses to watch their dogs since high school, providing regular walks, enrichment, and love. I’ve worked with puppies as young as 10 weeks and dogs as old as 12 years. I’ve worked with pets with special needs and medication needs. Most importantly, I truly love animals. As my sister’s weenie dog puppy can attest, nothing makes me happier than having an animal curled up on my lap. Even if it means dealing with some scratches or disciplining, being around pets is always worth it! As a student, my schedule is super flexible. I’m happy to take care of pets whenever I can. I love early morning walks, so I’m available as early as 7:30 am. My house requires getting up a few flights of stairs, so large senior pups may struggle. Otherwise, any animals are welcome. I’m happy to stay at other folks’ homes as I know this often makes animals more comfortable. I’m flexible to whatever your house rules are!

Our dog can be challenging, especially due to his anxiety around paw cleaning and eye care, but Hannah handled all of his needs with patience and skill and treated him as if he were her own. This was my first time using Angela to house and dog sit while I went away for a quick one night trip. She was delightful to work with. Very kind and friendly and attuned to my dog, Penelope’s, needs. Communication was excellent leading up to and during my time away. She sent lots of pictures and videos of Penelope, which I always find comforting while separated. She even brought her dog (after a meet and greet to see if they were compatible) so that Penelope had a playmate. It looked like they had a wonderful time together. Not sure Penelope even noticed I was gone. Angela left the house nice and tidy and put on some soothing nature sounds for the hour Penelope was going to be alone before I got home. She also made brownies and left some for me when I got home. Penelope and I are both looking forward to our next Aunty Angela stay!
