About: I’ve had many dogs all different kind of breeds. Very good at training and giving them attention. Takes them for walks 1 to 3 times a day I’m free Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Some weekends if 2 week notice. Mornings afternoons and evenings work durning the week. Weekends when I’m available mainly evenings and nights I don’t have a fenced yard but I will keep them on leash at all times and be very close so they don’t take off
About: Growing up I have always had at least one pet in my home. We have mainly had dogs however in the past I have had a dog, a tortoise, and a bunny. I will often take my dogs for walks or help my friends or family members with their dogs. I love spending time with animals and it is honestly the highlight of my day going home and being with my pets. I have been doing rover for about 3 years now and have had many amazing experiences. I have several clients that continue to book with me. I am currently working full time Tuesday-Saturday mornings however I’m typically available any day after noon. I don’t require much notice before booking as long as my calendar says I am available. I will be patient and gentle with any animals my client may have and ensure there is nothing that could cause the animal harm near the animal.
“Sophia was wonderful, she took such special care of our Border Collie Goose! He has terrible separation anxiety and Sophia barely left his side for straight week. I came home to happy dog and a very clean house. We will absolutely have her again and would highly recommend her.”

Lou stayed at our home with our pups and kitty, and was extremely communicative while we were away (sending pictures and updates) everyday. Our dogs loved her and we will definitely be working with her again in the future!”

“Jonathan took fantastic care of both our dog, Winston, and our house! I would highly recommend him as a pet/house sitter. He took Winston on very long walks, sent daily photos and updates, and kept us informed on Winston's well-being during our absence. We knew Winston was well cared for, and therefore we had no concerns while we were away. Jonathan gave us peace of mind that our "baby" was just fine.”

About: What sets me apart from other dog sitters is the genuine connection I build with every dog I care for. I treat your pup like family—offering not just basic care, but personalized attention, enrichment, and affection tailored to their unique personality and needs. Whether it’s playtime, long walks, or quiet cuddle sessions, I create a safe, loving environment where your dog feels truly at home. With a keen eye for detail and a deep passion for animals, I go the extra mile to ensure both pets and their owners feel confident, comfortable, and cared for. My daily/weekly routine typically revolves around my own pets and what is on the schedule for that day. So be reassured that I would do the same while caring for your pets as well. I work alongside my girlfriend who works from home therefore, your fur babies will always be cared for and attended to through out the whole day. In My Home: When pets stay with me, they become part of the family. I maintain a calm, clean, and pet-friendly environment where routines are respected and comfort is a priority. I provide plenty of playtime, walks, and affection throughout the day, as well as a cozy spot for rest. I take time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs—whether they prefer lots of activity or quiet companionship. Safety is always top priority, with secure spaces and close supervision. In Your Home: When caring for pets in their own home, I do everything I can to keep their routine consistent and stress-free. I follow all instructions carefully—feeding schedules, walk times, medication (if needed), and favorite activities. I keep your home tidy and secure while you’re away, and I always provide updates and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and in good hands.
“From the moment Julia came for the meet-and-greet with Pickles, our one year old rescue who has some anxiety issues with strangers, she gave us a complete sense confidence. She even had a form to get all the information that she would need to know how best to take care of P. When we were away for five days, Julia obviously created a great, easy relationship with our dog and kept her on a routine that we had established (as she has been with us for fewer than three months). Julia sent regular photos and videos of her and updates on how she was doing. I cannot recommend her enough. When we arrived home, Julia had done the bedding(laundry) and she was packed up. The house was immaculate. Thank. You for her loving care. We will be repeats.”

“Sophie was awesome and we for sure plan on booking her again!!! We have an two elderly animals (dog and cat) and she did a phenomenal job with all of the pills, extra potty breaks and attention to their needs. Our dog Zoe was sick right before Sophie came and we felt 100% comfortable with Sophie's care that put us at ease while we were away (which is hard to do with our babies when they are sick). She was flexible with new things that came up for Zoe and was available to adjust her schedule for Zoe's needs. Sophie's communication was perfect with updates and she was very tidy and respectful of our space! Thanks again Sophie!”

“Rich was excellent. My request was very last minute but he responded immediately and was punctual and courteous in our first meeting. In his initial interaction with my dog Faye, she took a linking to him right away and I was very impressed and put at ease by Rich's knowledge and expertise. He consistently gave me updates and photos during his stay, and not for a moment was I worried. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone.”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Warwick
Rayna was an outstanding house sitter, and I recommend her without hesitation. She took wonderful care of our dog and cats, and it was clear they were happy and well looked after while we were away. She kept the house spotless, was incredibly responsive throughout our trip, and sent frequent updates and photos that gave us real peace of mind. Rayna was also friendly, professional, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. We came home to happy pets and a perfectly maintained house. We would absolutely book Rayna again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy house sitter.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Kharma stayed with this sitter for two weeks, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. I received daily updates, photos, and messages, which gave me complete peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Kharma was well cared for, engaged, and having a great time. He enjoyed plenty of outdoor time, socialization, and activities, and the sitter followed all of my instructions carefully. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were always responsive, dependable, and professional. This has become my most trusted and frequently used sitter because of their reliability and consistency. Knowing that Kharma is safe, happy, and cared for as if he were their own makes all the difference. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy sitter and will absolutely continue booking with them in the future. 🐾❤️

Kaitlynn stayed with my anxious dog Cora for over a week and I was able to enjoy my vacation and trust that she was in great hands! Kaitlynn provided consistent updates on Cora including many photos which my family & I loved to receive multiple times throughout the day. She followed Cora’s feeding & medication routine perfectly & overall my anxious 65 lb potties mix was so happy & content for the whole stay. I highly recommend Kaitlynn she was wonderful!

This was our first time ever leaving our dog, Copper, with someone outside of family, so naturally we were very nervous (we’re definitely overprotective dog parents!). From the moment I met Caitlin, however, I immediately felt reassured. She has such a calm and caring demeanor that we knew Copper would be in great hands. Caitlin stayed with Copper for eight nights, and she went above and beyond to keep us updated. Every day she sent photos and checked in, which meant the world to us and really helped ease my anxiety while we were away. During the stay, a major blizzard hit and we received nearly three feet of snow, which certainly made things more challenging. Caitlin handled it with patience and professionalism and continued to provide wonderful care. Copper was clearly well cared for and comfortable the entire time. We are so grateful for Caitlin and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, communicative, and compassionate pet sitter. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better first Rover experience. We will absolutely be using Caitlin again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and genuinely caring to watch their pet.

She was amazing with my German Shepherd puppy and my 8-year-old husky. She kept me updated throughout the day with messages and photos, which gave me so much peace of mind. I could tell they were very well cared for and getting lots of attention. I would absolutely trust her with my dogs again and highly recommend her!

Gianna is warm, friendly, competent and great with dogs. On short notice she was able to accommodate us and our needs for both dog and house sitting. She left the house in great shape, too. We are very pleased with her services and look forward to having her watch our dogs again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Warwick walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Warwick maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warwick choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
