About: I’ve had many dogs all different kind of breeds. Very good at training and giving them attention. Takes them for walks 1 to 3 times a day I’m free Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays. Some weekends if 2 week notice. Mornings afternoons and evenings work durning the week. Weekends when I’m available mainly evenings and nights I don’t have a fenced yard but I will keep them on leash at all times and be very close so they don’t take off

About: I've been responsible for taking care of pets ever since I can remember- cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments. However, for the past few years I've been traveling a lot and so do not have any pets currently. Throughout the years, I've been a Vet Tech and adopted and fostered puppies through hospice dogs and several cats, and have had extremely friendly and reactive dogs. I'm willing to meet your pet where they are. I work from home and really enjoy my area of the world, so I tend to be a homebody during the week. I go for daily beach walks and enjoy swimming when it's warm enough. My neighborhood is great for walking, too. I love to get out and hike or explore on the weekends, but am also happy with projects around the house. High energy pups and couch potatoes are both welcome. I have a 4 foot fenced in yard and plenty of couch space. It's important to do what I can to help your pet be comfortable in a new environment, so I try to keep to their schedule as much as possible. I do have a large crate and room for you to bring your own if that works better. The ticks are out in force so please make sure your dog is on preventive. I cannot accept dogs with bite history or food/toy aggression.

We live in Warwick with our pup Tobi.You can almost see the airport from our fenced in home. We're both animal lovers who have owned dogs our entire lives. I work from home and hang with the pups all day, Whitney (my fiancé) works part time so she's here with us most of the time. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's great for walking. I take Tobes to a park a couple blocks away every morning, rain or shine. He demands his daily walks!! He's an 11 year old Husky Lab mix and he gets along with other dogs. I started doing Rover back when Tobi was a pup and then took a long hiatus when I moved out of state. Once I moved back to RI and bought a house I figured it was a good time to start it back up again. Life is just better with dogs, and we have plenty of space and love to share!! Trust us, we know how stressful it is to have to find someone to watch your fur-baby. When I'm not working from home I travel for work and take Tobi with me, so I've had to do it plenty. Luckily, I've had mostly good experiences. But they're a part of the family so leaving them is always hard, let alone trusting a stranger. I assure you, Whitney and I are both responsible and attentive and you can rest easy knowing they'll be in good hands. We'll communicate with texts/pictures as much or as little as you'd like while they're here with us and they'll be getting lots of attention, treats (if that's okay) and belly rubs!! There's always room on our couches/bed for snuggling, too. Added bonus; if you're flying out of TF Greene, we plenty of space in our driveway and I don't mind giving rides to the airport so you can save a few bucks on your transportation costs. One stop shopping! A few extra bucks for the tip is appreciated in those scenarios! A couple other things to note; we have picked up quite a few regulars at this point, and we're very very flexible when it comes to drop off and pick up times and when people have last minute changes to their plans. We do that happily, but at times it results in us having some overlap with more dogs at the house than we normally shoot for. If you're someone who is going to be bothered by your pup being around a few random dogs from here to there, we might not be the best fit. That being said, we always do meet and greets and we're particular on the breeds/dogs we accept, so there truly is never anything to think twice about. Bottom line; we would never accept a booking if we didn't know we could keep the pups safe and happy. And during drop offs and pickups, we always prefer to meet out in the driveway for the handoff so whatever dogs are inside don't get all fired up and excited to meet a new human. That can rile things up and make it seem chaotic, when in reality that's never the case. For that same reason, if you're going to be early or late for a pick up or drop off (which is fine), we just ask that you send us a quick message with your ETA. We always get the dogs ready ahead of time, so an extra 5-10 minutes of an excited pup on a leash waiting for it's owner can seem like an eternity haha, and we block off the dogs in the living room with a baby gate during drop offs and pick ups so no one rushes the door when we're taking a pup out or letting one in, so if someone shows up early and we aren't expecting it we don't have time to do that. Our #1 goal is a safe environment with as little stress all around as possible!! I currently work from home. If my schedule is showing open on Rover, that means you can expect me to be with your pup pretty much 24/7. Whitney works part time so she's also going to be with us most of the time. My best friend and his wife live 4 streets away and my parents live a 5 minute drive away, so we have a village available at all times to help out anytime needed (but they just love the extra dog kisses!!). Our home is clean and not cramped, so there's plenty of room for your pup to roam free and be comfortable. We let them on the furniture, so if that's okay with you it's great with us. We have a fenced in yard with a decent amount of room for playing/sniffing/peeing on things. There is one set of stairs in the home, but it's not needed to get around, so if you have an older dog you don't need to worry about them walking up and down stairs.

About: I have worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility in North Kingstown for more than 10 years! Due to my experience, I have worked with dogs of all sizes, shapes, ages, personalities, etc. Between the dogs at my job, the care I have done for clients through Rover in the past and my own pets at home, I have a ton of experience caring for animals. I will treat your pets as if they were my own! I work the afternoon/evening shift at my job, but my mornings are open to those who are looking for pet care on the earlier side! I do have some weekend availability. Don't hesitate to send a message, and I can try to accommodate to the best of my ability! I will take your pet for a nice walk (at their pace, for their comfort) around the neighborhood or to their favorite spot, or spend my time playing/giving company to your pet when you're not home. My attention stays on the animal at all times as you never know what pets will try to get into. If there are any concerns, I will immediately notify you and thoroughly check the animal if necessary (to their comfort level, I will not push an animal to let me examine them but will promptly let owners know of any concerns and take necessary steps to ensure the animals safety.) I can offer water or food at your request and give medication if ever needed with your instructions.

I’ve had dogs of many breeds, sizes, ages, personalities, and temperaments, and every dog has taught me something new. Whether I’m taking a dog for a walk, stopping in for a drop-in visit, or providing pet sitting, I love building a connection with each dog and discovering what makes them feel confident, engaged, and happy. I believe the best care is about more than just exercise—it’s about giving dogs meaningful enrichment, companionship, and a positive experience in their own routine. My passion for dog training began with my Hunt Terrier, Harley. I’ve had dogs my whole life, but Harley was the first dog who led me into formal training. She was a nippy, challenging, bossy puppy! We completed McCann’s Life Skills program and are now part of their Higher Learning program. Through training Harley, I became fascinated by canine behavior and how dogs learn and communicate. I love continuing to learn about positive reinforcement, body language, and ways to help dogs build confidence and succeed. In addition to caring for my own dogs, I’ve provided walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, companionship, and pet sitting for friends, family, and neighbors while they were working or away. I am available Monday - Friday 8am - 8pm Weekends May be available upon request I have openings for walks, enrichment, pet sitting and drop ins. Dog boarding is on a pet by pet basis. Hours will vary depending on clients needs. I treat every pet as if they were my own. Safety, love, and individualized care always come first. My large home and large yard provide plenty of space for enrichment and supervised outdoor time. I have lots of toys, agility equipment, training props and water fun. Harley, my friendly 15-pound Hunt Terrier, can provide companionship or be separated based on your dog’s comfort.

About: I’ve been around pets my whole life! I have a soft spot for dogs. I occasionally stay over family, friends, and family friends to pet and house sit! I have the summer off and I am looking to fit pet care in at any moment that I can to earn extra cash throughout the weekdays 8am to 4pm. In homes that I have pet sit before I have played, fed, walked, and let their dogs out to use the bathroom. I enjoy dog walks frequently!

About: I am a current PhD student at Brown University with over a decade of experience caring for animals. I volunteered at my local humane society for a few years, working with both cats and dogs (including under-socialized animals). I have participated in numerous trainings and grew up surrounded by dogs and cats. I currently have a cat of my own named Gouda (he’s a typical orange cat!) who is my world. I will treat your furbaby like my own - with love, respect, and care. I love all types of animals and can’t wait to meet yours! I am a full-time student with tons of time over the summer when I work part-time. My schedule is very flexible (not a normal 9-5) so I can meet almost any scheduling ask. I would love to fill my free time with dogs and cats! I build trust with dogs and cats by moving slow, reading and respecting your pets body language, and staying calm to ensure that we are both safe.
