“Kyleigh was wonderful with our two pups over Thanksgiving. She was very communicative, reliable, on time and did exactly what we asked her to do. She took great care of our dogs and gave them some love and they really responded to her, which is not always the case for our little one. We absolutely recommend her, she is trust worthy, sends lots of pics and updates and makes traveling without the pups a much less stressful experience. 5 stars, we are very pleased and will hire her again!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover for as long as I can remember! Growing up with dogs and cats, my family always treated our pets as family, and I’ve carried that same philosophy into adulthood. In 2019, I adopted a senior cat who was diagnosed with diabetes shortly after joining my family. For the next three years, I dedicated myself to making his golden years as happy, healthy, and comfortable as possible. From administering insulin twice daily and keeping up with his care routine to encouraging exercise, playtime, and plenty of affection, caring for him taught me so much about patience, attentiveness, and the importance of understanding an animal’s individual needs. After saying goodbye to him in September 2023, I decided to take a break from pet ownership, but my love for animals hasn’t gone anywhere! In recent years, I’ve continued caring for friends’ cats and dogs, and I’m excited to get back into a regular routine of spending time with furry companions before eventually adopting again. My friends and family like to joke that I’m an “animal whisperer” because animals of all personalities seem to gravitate toward me! Whether they’re energetic and playful, shy and reserved, or simply looking for a cozy spot to curl up, I genuinely enjoy getting to know what makes each animal unique. I approach every pet with love, patience, and respect for their routines and comfort levels. I know how much trust goes into leaving your furry family member in someone else’s care, and my goal is to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. Plus, I’m always excited for an opportunity to make a new fur friend! My schedule is currently pretty flexible, and I’m excited to make more time for caring for furry friends! I have a few upcoming weekend commitments, which are already reflected in my Rover calendar. I’m anticipating starting a new full-time position toward the end of October, which would likely have me working Monday through Friday, 8 AM–5 PM, with a mix of remote and in-office days. As my schedule becomes more established, I’ll continue updating my availability accordingly. In the meantime, I’m happy to coordinate with pet owners to find times that work for everyone! I’ve always considered pets to be part of the family, and I believe that when someone entrusts me with their furry family member, they deserve the same love, patience, and attention I gave my own pets. Every animal has their own personality, preferences, and comfort level, and I think it’s important to respect that! Whether your pet is outgoing and playful or shy and takes a little longer to warm up, I’m happy to let them get comfortable at their own pace. I love learning what makes each pet feel happy and secure, whether that’s their favorite toys, approved treats, a familiar routine, or simply having someone nearby to keep them company. I also take the time to understand each owner’s expectations, including feeding schedules, medications, exercise needs, household rules, and any behavioral considerations. For dogs, that includes understanding their leash manners and comfort around other animals. For cats, I’m especially mindful of their indoor/outdoor boundaries and preferred ways of interacting. Having cared for my own senior cat, Mit Mit, I know how important it is to maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment. I’m attentive to potential hazards, keeping things tidy, cleaning up after pets, and respecting the home I’m welcomed into. Above all, I want both you and your pet to feel comfortable and confident in my care. I’ll always do my best to follow your instructions, respect your pet’s boundaries, and treat your home and furry family member with the same consideration I’d want for my own!

I graduated with a degree in Animal Science and currently work as a veterinary assistant, so I bring both knowledge and hands-on experience to every pet I care for. Your pet’s safety and well-being are always my top priority, and I treat every animal like my own. I am available for full-weekend care and Weekday evening visits. Because I work a standard 9–5 schedule during the week, I dedicate my Saturdays and Sundays and weekday evenings to giving your pets my undivided attention! Feel free to reach out though, I can be flexible :) My top priority is providing care that respects both your home and your pet’s established routine. I strictly follow all owner instructions to ensure boundaries are never crossed, as I want both you and your pets to feel completely comfortable and at ease.

Barb is an excellent dog sitter. She’s been able to help me out on a few occasions, and one very last minute which was such a relief! She communicates so well and I feel very good when she’s with my two senior dogs. She understands both my guys very well. I really recommend her!

I was in a bind and needed someone to watch my dogs on short notice of about 2 weeks it wasn't sure if I can find anybody. I was looking on Rover and came across Jennifer and all I can say is that my two pups Cosmo and Ginny absolutely loved her! Due to an illness though I had to cut her watching my dog short. She was helpful and took care of everything. I would highly recommend her to anyone and I am planning more trips in the future, so I know who I will be calling. Thank you again for all your help.

Kayla was absolutely amazing while I was away in Italy and the Canary Islands. Leaving my cat, Bleu, for such an extended trip was stressful, but Kayla made it so much easier. She took wonderful care of Bleu, kept me updated with photos and messages, and it was obvious how much she genuinely cared about him. When I came home, Bleu was happy, relaxed, and clearly well loved. It gave me such peace of mind knowing he was in such capable and caring hands while I was halfway around the world. I wholeheartedly recommend Kayla to anyone looking for a reliable, compassionate, and attentive pet sitter. Bleu and I are so grateful for everything she did, and I wouldn't hesitate to book her again. Bleu: "Five stars. Please have Kayla come back." 🐈💙

Phoebe was amazing. This was our first time using Rover and I am so fortunate to have found Phoebe. Our cats are like our children and she took such fantastic care of them. Her communication was incredible. We felt so comfortable having her check on our kitties and care for them. Would have her watch our cats again in a heartbeat. Thank you Phoebe!

Jean is very caring and accommodating and it’s clear how much she cares for my puppy while in her care. She’s easy to communicate with and is willing to adapt to my puppy’s ever changing needs. She also always sends the cutest picture updates and is just as excited to see the puppy grow and develop his goofy personality.

Kerry did a great job keeping us informed about our three elderly cats. Insulin and pills were not a problem for her to give. She stayed awhile to comfort our very oldest cat who loves attention. We will certainly call on her again the next time we travel. Thank you, Kerry!
